      Not fair waiting for a worker to **me and never show up. Company never bothers telling me theyre not **ming and they dont bother following up to see if I am ok. Completely unprofessional and uncaring and yet this **mpany ** to use to get funding from our tax dollars. Senior and the disabled are the only ones to suffer and Addus makes sure they do.

      We have been with this company for a little over two years, and we have been very forgiving to their lack of communication and care for their clients, but this past month or two has been ridiculously frightening. They have fired employees on the phone right in front of us because of their lack of communication with their workers, they dont communicate with their workers or their clients when one or the other cannot perform a service for a given day, even when given a weeks notice. There are a lot of employees that answer the phone, but nobody takes responsibility for the care of their clients. When we told that a new schedule they they made for us will not work, they got belligerent and said that we cant call the shots, to take it or leave it, and said they will mark it as though we refused service, which is not the case. When you have a long-standing appointments and commitments for over 2 years, our medical care should not be decided on the whim of a worker from Addus. We notify them a week in advance that we have a doctors appointment on one of our scheduled days, they did not notify the home worker and they showed up anyway. It seems like when we get a good worker they dont last. This looks like just another company being funded by our tax dollars that just sits back and collects the money and doesnt provide a service. Why do we allow this to happen to our disabled and elderly?

      I am an employee of Addus for the past 7 years. This company is the worst run business I have ever worked for! They dont care about the clients or the employees! You can not get anyone to answer the phones when you call, no return phone calls and no answer to emails! They dont know what a company policy is and not one of them tell you the same thing when you do get an answer from them. You have to watch every paycheck because they are short almost everytime and I am constantly having to wait for my money! Just recently they shorted me ****** and then put my money on a wisely card when I specifically told then do not put my money on it that it needed to go to my account because I had bills coming out of it and they dont care! My clients never get a phone call when they have to ask any questions nor do they get replacements when I am off!! When I took care of my mother in law I had to be off to home school my son and she went over 2 weeks with no one and she needed help with everything!! I dont understand how this is not considered neglect! Please run dont walk away form this company and dont put your loved ones in their care cause they are neglectful! If I dont love and worry about my clients I would be gone!! Please beware!!!

      I'm an employee who has been working since the original Company was bought out several times. I've read the reviews and each one is correct The satellite companies are a joke they've been over paying me for 6 months with no updates showing that I have made telephone number, work hour changes as far as I know my client doesn't even have an office contact.. I'm so sick of COVID being used as an excuse, understaffed, at this point I'm not sure if they're incompetent or just plain don't care. I honestly believe that the Insurance Commissioner should be contacted the the ********** AG'S OFFICE should investigate both them and Presbyterian who won the contract maybe they aren't the right people either.

      I worked very hard for this company and gave them a 30 day notice when I left. They terminated my insurance early and all they have to do is reach out to their anthem representative and have this fixed. I paid **** a month on health insurance while I worked for them and I had a baby which I now have to pay out of pocket because they wont do their part. I have reached out to AddusBenefits and *****************. Its strictly about right and wrong. If they dont stick up and fix things they know should be done how will they advocate and do the right thing for their patients?

      I'm an employee at adduss and I can assure you they treat the workers just as bad as the clients. There's no job placement. You have to call them and harass them at 6am for work and hope someone called out for you to cover. The pay *****. The coordinators are rude dismissive and don't care. And that's stating the minimum c*** you have to deal with.

      ****** my case worker at addus was very deceptive from the beginning with me. She sent several care takers to my home that seamed yo be right outta the ghetto! Then blamed me for my complaints I told her about the lazy workers she sent to me!

      If I could rate a negative zero I would. This company never returns calls and if I request for a callback, I receive a message saying I already have a callback scheduled. When? Where? How? By whom? The lack of response by this agency must be invested.

      I am a former Addis employee.I live in senior housing where many residents have service complaints or lack of service? If someone actually shows up they are late or cell phone addicted., or and dont bring receipt or change back from a lengthy store visit. want to leave early and get paid for it. what has happened to WORK ETHICS??????

      Worst ran company I’ve ever worked with. No communication and no follow through. Left my mom with no help at home after she was released from rehab. Waited until half hour she was to head home to tell us changes in policy. This is after we had called a week prior to start services again. No mention of the changes. Do not hire them. No one will show up and they don’t call to tell you no one is going to show up. Contacted home office twice to request to talk with someone about the way the Quincy office handled this, but no response from anyone.
      Save your money and your sanity…do not hire Addus Healthcare
