    Purchased a **** new go cart with a title, 90% put together and a 12 mo warranty. It was delivered and we spent a couple days finishing it and immediately found a problem that had to pay a mechanic to fix. Notified the company right away. It was drove for less than a couple hours to make sure it would stop and then wouldnt start again. Again notified company who had me get the battery tested. Which I did and they sent one, then that battery was bad and they had to send out another. Have made numerous calls spending hours on the phone and emails and have done everything asked only to be told today that now the carburetor ? is bad. So far I have had kind people explaining the process. The last call I was told I should need to just do some adjustments and thats all I would be asked to do, very nice and helpful. Today it was horriblebut for they decided to get mean and rude. As a single parent spending $$$$ on a new go cart I expect it to run. Not have it be 2 mo old already paid a mech $150 to fix broken joint and bolts, go thru 3 batters and now put a carb thingy which will be more money and time. After asking for a manager/owner the customer service guy flat out refused and said he would not and he was the manager and he was as high as this will go. My kids and I are crushed.

    I was contacted by motobuys in Sept and they sent a new carborator to have me take to a mechanic to put in. They were great and receptive to help get it running.

    Now, I attempted to contact them by phone and email for 2 weeks with no success. There is now a mechanic bill for numerous repairs that have been done and the go cart still wont run. I even scheduled a tech apt and they ghosted me at the apt time.

    I Have a brand new not running go cart with a mechanic bill over $400 and have a ********** of phone calls, messages, a tech apt and emails with zero responses.

    Original person who responded to the BBB complaint has ghosted me and the tech and customer service people are causing all sorts of problems.     Purchased kids quad since day had issues the starter was bad does not start right up. ***** was out made several calls with no return call finally someone called they sent starter out new starter does not work. Emailed the manager zero responses made back to us. You can not get a hold of anyone they sold a defective item and will not even answer the phone or return calls to fix the issue I want a refund this is not fair the kids received an item they can not enjoy and we lost out on the last of our funds

    Ice Bear Mini *** 50cc Scooter PMZ50-M1 Extended Frame, Automatic trans, Electric start 1 Online purchase amount: $1,627.00 plus financing charges (over $2,000.00)I ordered and bought, as advertised, a brand new Scooter Upon this scooter being delivered to my home, in the shipping crate, I immediately noticed all kinds of issues with it. The front forks, that had been secured at some point, was unsecured and wedged into the shipping framework. there were deep gouges, scratches on body panels all over this thing. side panels, front fender, front lighting panel, stainless exhaust pipe, broken rear fender, handel bar throttle assembly stripped out (won't stay in place), carburation issues, very hard to get it to start, won't stay running on it's own, fuel float issues inside the tank, broken ignition coil, rear wheel out of round.I have made well over 20 phone calls to this merchant and I can never get anyone to answer the phones. only on 2 separate occasions I was able to actually talk to someone. The first time, after many attempts, I was able to finally talk to some tech guy and discuss all the problems with it. He did however send me "some" replacement parts. 5 parts to be exact. 2 of which I didn't need. A new spark plug and a new instrument panel. To this date, I still have never received a new front fender, 2 separate body panels, ignition coil, wheel/rim, and Im really not sure what to do about the internal fuel float inside the gas tank. However, none of which is going to make this thing start like it should or even make it stay running on its own. I filed a dispute with ******, whom I financed it through and I've been informed that I'm on the hook for the financing. I got an email back from Motobuys informing me that I can ship it back, at my cost, plus a 15% restocking fee. I don't even have to crate it came in anymore. The customer service there is absolutly lousy, the head guy that runs the place is a flat out liar. He straight up hung up on me.

    Additionally, I have provided to them, at their request, 33 photos, with damages. I've discussed at length, with their tech guy about all the issues to this scooter. The purchase of this scooter is NO different than buying a brand new vehicle, with all kinds of damages, at full price. This company clearly makes little effort to honor what they sell. I've read many complaints about this merchant, approximately 38 in the past 3 years. Every one of those complaints have been negetive. This merchant also has an "F" rating. They claim to have sent all parts to rectify damages and they have not. They claim to attach a tracking number which never work. Here in *******, we have what is called "Lemon Law", and this scooter fits under those guidelines. 

    For me to send this scooter back, I would be obligated to pay full shipping 2 ways, plus a 15% restocking fee. 

    I financed this scooter through Affirm and have been making good faith payments for it. I have now made the decision that I will NOT be making any more payments for this scooter. To put a rating on this scooter from 1 -10, (1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest), I would have to rate it at a negetive. -10. I would have to rate this merchants business, customer care, the ability to get someone on the phone, ethics at the same level, -10! I would warn anyone looking to do business with Motobuys to turn around and run. They got their money from Affirm, and now they could care less about the buyer!

    Motobuys has still failed to send new ignition coil, front fender, fuel tank float (no way to fix this) under seat plastic panel, bent rear rim/tire wobble issues. It does not run without rigging up a wire to the spark plug. I will NOT being making any more "good faith" payments on this scooter. I prefer/demand a "FULL" refund on all payments already paid, and guarentee the cancelation of this transaction, in full, and I will not be paying "ANY" shipping costs to return. Once I've been paid back, and receive notice of cancelation, this scooter will be here waiting for you to pick it up.

    I am rejecting this response because:   I've recorded every conversation. And you continue to lie! I've already sent pictures of ALL the damaged parts the day this thing was delivered here. Over 3 months ago. But, once again, you've only sent 3 of the damaged parts and still haven't resolved the issues pertaining to the fuel gauge registering issue. 9nce again, as we talked about, it's internal inside the gas tank itself. You tech guy has ALL the information pertaining to ALL the issues with this. He even acknowledged what was sent to me. He himself included the spark plug and dash panel and took that upon himself to send. Go back to your tech guy and he will confirm to you, as he did to me on the phone at one point, what was sent, and what was never sent! It's been sitting here, non running since I got it due to the broken coil wire. I can only make it run by rigging a wire to the spark plug. I've been getting a run around from you this whole time. I'm through dealing with a dishonest merchant and as I've stated in the last correspondence through the BBB that it's no wonder why Motobuys has an "F" rating! I also stated that it would be best, to get a "FULL" refund and completely cancel out the purchasing terms that was made through Affirm as though it never happened. Once I've been reimbursed and those loan terms have been terminated, with ZERO negetive consequences, then I'll have this thing ready for someone to come and pick it up. I will NOT be paying for ANY shipping costs involved.

    I ordered an Icebear 50cc trike from Motobuys on May 9th for $2,438.00, order Sp12141. While unboxing I discovered a turn signal that was damaged during shipping on May 16th. I contacted customer support, and they requested I send the **** After some confusion and further unboxing, I located the *** on My 20th and provided per Motobuys request, I also discovered the front windscreen was damaged during shipping and requested a replacement. After follow-up with the company, I was provided an order number ***** on June 7th that indicated I would receive the replacement windscreen and turn signal. I received a package containing the turn signal on June 15th, but no windscreen. I followed through email in July and again on August 7th, where I provided screenshots in reference to the package received. Motobuys stopped responding to both calls and emails regarding replacement of the windscreen. I am an operations manager for a contact center, which includes customer service, and I can tell you the level of communication from Motobuys is unacceptable. They will get you the order sent out in a timely fashion but good luck after that. Motobuys, if you would like some information on how to improve the level of your customer satisfaction, I am happy to provide a direct consultation. I simply want the replacement item as covered under the warranty.

    We purchased an RPS Viking Go Kart from Moto Buys on 07/31/2023. It was delivered on 08/07/2023. We began the assembly process right away because the return/refund policy is only 1 week from delivery!! Assembly was very difficult and many parts and pieces don't line up so we had to use various tools to help assemble the frame. One of the seats does not have any bolts to attach it to the frame. The other seat has bolts but those do not line up with the frame and have no nuts or washers to secure the seat down. We cannot fix this on our own without damaging the integrity of the frame and posing a serious safety threat. We cannot install the other seat at all. We did add fluids appropriately and started the go kart up only to discover that it has been geared backwards. Drive is reverse and reverse is drive thus compromising the safety of the machine again since it is advertised for sale to children! I've reached out via email and received no response. I've attempted to call but the only number is a ****** listing so you go through an automated system and then get voicemail. I've left several. I've also filled out a tech form online. We need resolution to these issues or a full refund so that we can purchase from a company that has much more reliable service.

    Talked to the customer on the phone she said she cannot bolt up the passenger seat because the bolts and washers are missing, and she can't bolt up the Driver seat because the bolts do not line up with the frame she Going to send me some pictures of the measurements from bolt to bolt on the bottom of the seat so we can figure out why it does not fit.

    "I bought a scooter in January/February, and since then, I've been sending numerous emails and making calls to get them to send me the *** so I can register and use the vehicle. I haven't received any response, my emails are unanswered, and they don't attend to me. The only way I managed to get their attention was by calling sales, and they've been very rude, even shouting at me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY FROM MOTOBUYS. The customer care is terrible, they are scammers. I've reached a point where I don't really know what to do anymore.

    My husband purchased a Trailmaster mini XRX for our son in June 2023. The go kart arrived without a battery or a functioning kill switch. We had to go buy a battery, which the company promised to reimburse $50 (and did not) and they will not respond or communicate about the lack of a functioning kill switch (which is a huge safety issue). Now the choke doesnt work so the entire new go kart wont work, and we still cannot get anyone to directly speak to us.

    I purchased a moped from MotoBuys on or around June 16th 2023. It is dangerous. We have been trying to get in touch with them since about the issue of stalling. Every time I come to a stop the engine shuts off. The only way it will stay running is if I keep my hand on the throttle. It is extremenly dangerous. I paid over $1000 for it new. We want it replaced or fixed or returned. It is dangerous when I come to a stop and the engine shuts off. Then I have traffic behind me and I have to turn it on again to drive it. NO ONE is returning my emails or calls or my husband's emails or calls.

    I am rejecting this response because:   They already called my husband and they are telling him that its due to damage parts and shipping. Theres nothing damaged its just not working. Its dangerous to drive and Im paying on a vehicle that I cannot use because it doesnt stay idling and it shuts down whenever I come to a stop and I have to turn the key and restart the whole thing again.     This is my proof of purchase.

    Everytime we try to get in touch with them to resolve the issue they keep giving us the run around. They went us an email to ask when they can contact us then they send us an email stating they tried to call which they never did. We have had nothing but problems since we received the moped. Namely the headlight doesnt work and it does not stay running. It takes several tries to get started and once started it does not stay running. The engine shuts off. At EVERY stop sign the engine cuts out. We have been calling for literally months and have NEVER spoke to an actual person . They are prolonging this and are telling you that they are trying to resolve the issue but they are not. They asked us when they can call us but they never call and when we call back we dont get a person. We have no choice but to leave voice mails. All we want is to have them take it back and refund it. My wife put alot of time looking for the perfect moped as she does not have a car. This was going to be her transportation to work but now she has to UBER which is costing us $15 a day.. This vehicle is too dangerous to drive. 

    Please help us get our hard earned money back.

    I am rejecting this response because:   They need to call my husband or myself to discuss this. We have been promised numerous phone calls which never came. We have received 2 promises to call us and resolve the issue and we never get a call or speak to someone directly. 

    I am afraid that if I accept this response for resolution then I am going to never get my issue resolved. Once I accept this response my case is going to be closed and I am not a fool. ****** telling me he is going to speak to me or my husband to resolve issue means nothing to me. An email is not a resolution as far as I am concerned. It is a STALL.

    My phone number is ************.  My husband *****'s email is ************. We want a phone call and a resolution. This bike cost us over $1000 and takes about 30 seconds to start (in warm summer weather), Then it does not start running. This entire experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. This moped is under warranty. If we EVEN TRY to fix the issue ourselves it voids the warranty.  We have tried for 2 months to speak to someone and we have never spoken to anyone. Just Friday I left 2 voice mails. One for service and one for sales and I HAVE NOT received any calls.Just like we have not received any calls in the last two months. I reached out to the BBB because I want a refund. If I get a replacement it should be for a higher end moped because I have no reason to believe it is going to be any better quality than this piece of garbage.

    So I guess the BBB cannot help me recover my money? I have reached out to Motobuys before and provided a time for the call before. I have received this exact email before and provided a time before and they never called. We told them to call us 3:30  EST on a Friday which is 2:30 CST and they never called. We called them and they never answered. I am going to respond to them by email requesting they call my husband 3:30 pm EST/2:30 CST on Friday August 11th and we will see what happens. So there is nothing your BBB can do for me if they never call?

    So the email that Motobuys sent me was from a **** ** and signed ******. I have sent emails and no one is replying. Is there nothing more I can do? What is the purpose of the BBB?  They are NOT going to call us about this. We have made numerous appointments and nothing is being done. No one calls us and if we call noone picks up.

    I bought a moped from motobuys through Affirm monthly payments.I received the moped with a big scratch on the front. I emailed motobuys about it and was told to assemble the bike and collect everything I could find and let them know. I did and emailed them about the scratch and the grinding noise coming from the front area. I sent them a picture and videos of the said issues.I have been emailing them a lot and no one has replied to me. I also called and left a voice mail but no one called back.I also have not received the papers for the moped so I could get it registered so I can take it to the street and get someone else to fix it for me.This company is very bad with communica once the item is delivered. It is very hard to find anyone to reply to even the emails.I need the papers for the moped and if they can't help me, I will need them to pick up the moped free of charge and cancel the transaction.

    Purchased four ******* in January of 2023 and have had to replace several parts within the first two weeks and the frame broke within the first month. Have tried several time to contact customer support with no success. We paid out of pocket for all repairs but after the frame broke we are just over it. The product is to defective for safe use.

    I did make an appointment on the date im available. I dont really see why i had to do that considering iv was suppose to already have spoken with a manager who all of a sudden quit answering my emails. After he tried to convince me in a few months time of us owning this fourwheeler. It was riders neglect which it wasnt. No rider over 100lbs has ridden it and its rated for a 200lb rider.
