      I wonder why a company as big as K&N wouldn't bother to get BBB accredited? Makes you wonder doesn't it? Maybe because they care nothing about customer service? Lets go with that since I contacted them via email directly 7 weeks ago and have been completely ignored.A brief summary of the issue. Quality control at the **************. I purchased an oil filter, the same one I have been using for my wife's *** for years. Except this time, after draining the oil, this filter would not fit. Right box, right part number on the box HP-7039, WRONG PART INSIDE THE BOX! The part number on the filter was HP-703BLOB. The ****** it turns out appears to be an 8, not a 9. That one number difference means **********, not *** and the oil pickup on the *** is quite a bit larger. So, this oil filter does not come close to fitting. It is a Sunday morning when I discover this and my wife and I only have the one car. An emergency order to ****** goes out for a Monday delivery. So a missed full day of work, a missed afternoon vet appointment that was scheduled months in advance, and which we only just completed a few days ago after rescheduling because it took weeks to get again, and not a single peep from customer service at K&N about the issue. And by the way, the reason I had to send an email directly to K&N vs using their website customer service link is because the link kept looping me out repeatedly after I filled everything out. There is nothing wrong with my US email address but it said my email could not be "confirmed". What the h*** does that even mean because my email sure went through when I sent my complaint to you directly! ******** from a BS "US" company.

      I'm leaving this star so I may tell my story. After ordering from K&N website on a Saturday. I realized I ordered the wrong one and couldn't get hold of any customer service through phone call or email because they closed for 48 hour until Monday at 10 am central. So I called at 10 am, spoke to supervisor and self proclaimed "end of the line" *****************. **** told me since my order was ran through their system and put on a pallet, there was no way to cancel the order or do anything about it. Finally after threating to come here, **** says he will go down to shipping and see what he can do... this company is borderline scamming people and I'm questioning why I put my complaint here instead of through scams. It is only 2 hours after calling and having this experience but I don't have faith **** will even try.

      Hello. Although at the time the customer realized his error and we were able to respond, we did do everything possible to stop and cancel the order, however we were not successful. Nonetheless, we will work with the customer to resolve the matter, as customer service is our benchmark. I will contact this consumer directly with a resolution.

      Ive been waiting for my replacement filter for 2 months and when I called I got treated horribly and lied to I just want my filter so I can drive my car Ive been waiting since November ****** was the only helpful one outta the ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************** AFTER HE HINTED AT TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ME WOSRT COMPANY EVER

As for the replacement air filter for your K&N intake; the air filter and intake system are currently not in stock and we do not have an ETA for when it will be back in stock. As soon as the air filter is available, we will be shipping you the replacement.

      We secured and new replacement filter for ****************, and we are in the process of shipping it out to him. There aren't any orders in our system for the purchase pf the original filter. We do not know what happened to the original filter or how it was damaged. **************** is happy with the resolution.

      Our **************** Representative reached out to the customer this afternoon after checking on the order and confirmed that the order and new filter was both delivered in good condition and is now installed on their vehicle.
