    Customer service is really bad. Was repeatedly told they couldn't help me troubleshoot a problem because they didn't make the remote and the fan didn't have dip switches. Except they do make the remote and the fan controller that makes the fan work despite not having the dip switches/remote capability. Customer service agent seemed put off by my need for assistance and just kept repeated the same information despite my trying to get new, useful information to resolve my issue. I asked if they were ******* kidding and was hung up on. The second time I called I was given a phone number for Lowe's warranty assistance who couldn't help at all. After having to find the pretty vague manual for the remote online myself, I called a third time because the manual had the same phone number and made clear it was a Litex product. I was finally given some actual assistance though the information provided wasn't helpful or thoughtful.

    They put a "Customer Service" phone number on items they import and sell to retailers and the automated phone menu gives an option for "technical support" but that's very misleading. Based on the other review here, it is a warranty claims number, and based on my experience it is definitely not a general customer service or technical support number.
