I ordered a $75 E-gift card and they messed up so were not able to deliver and were to issue a credit. They also added an $8 delivery fee which was to be removed but again they did not do this. I emailed about this but they did not respond so I called and they state they are going to issue a refund but it may take 10 days I have waited the 10 days then call again three times and each time they say they are going to issue the credit but do not. Approximately 1 year ago I purchased a custom-made suit from the Men's Warehouse in *******. With this purchase I was told that free alterations came with the life of the suit. 6 months ago, I stopped in for some alterations and was "lied" to stating that alterations were not needed, and all I needed was a pair of braces to help keep the pants up. Today, 2/22/25 I stopped back for alterations, put on the suit, saw the seamstress and was dismissed withing 30 seconds and was told that nothing can be done. I asked to speak to a Manager, and after the Manager speaking with the seamstress came back and stated that nothing can be done. I again explained that I purchased this suit under the premise that it came with free alterations for the life of the suit, he provided nothing but excuses, and then stated that they were not responsible for upholding the guarantee because they are under new ownership, and they "do things by the book." On November 10, 2024, I went into men's wearhouse to purchase a suit for a wedding for the next weekend. They ended up not having the suit pants I wanted, so I purchased the suit jacket and they ordered pants the same color as the jacket because I needed a black suit. I did the 3 day rush shipping so it would be here on time and I was told that it would be here on Wednesday and have plenty of time to alter the suit to my fitting. It ended up not getting here till Thursday the 14th. When I tried it on, the employee messed up and ordered suit bottoms that were grey and not black. Because of this s**** up I could not get the suit that I had paid for and had a contract in purchasing. They had no pants that fit me to go with the suit and the wedding was in 2 days so I couldn't ship anything else. The only thing that fit was a black suit in their luxury collection that was $350 more expensive than the suit I ordered. I told them this was not my fault and that the employee screwed up and they need to make it right. They said unfortunately there is nothing they can do and I had to buy the more expensive suit because I was in a bind because of them. All they said was they are going to do a lot more trainings for the employees. Because of this, they need to make right the $350 dollars more I had to spend because of their screwup or I am filing a lawsuit for breach of contract and unfair business practices. They screwed the shipping up, the suit up, all my measurements up, and they don't wanna make it right. I'd rather take care of this now instead of filing lawsuit, but I will if I have to.Business Response

On 8/16/24 I paid $486.49 for a suit. I had to return to Savannah (55miles) for measuring. I was called afterwards to be told they had lost the pants, would reorder and give me a $100 credit for my toruble. Ever since, no one returns my calls.
I want a complete refund as I'm frustrated with their (lack of) service.Business Response

My boyfriend and I had a really bad experience at the **********, ** store regarding the purchase of dress pants back in September. From the jump, we felt rushed and not properly attended ***** boyfriend is a size ************************************* stock to try on. Instead of ordering us a 28 for us to try, the sales **** ***** forced us into a size 30 pant and assured us that theyd fit after tailoring. In order for us to get the 28, wed be forced to buy them and return them if they didnt fit. So we went with his advice and got the 30. However, since he was at the end of his shift, he wasnt even the one to take our measurements. Totally rude and disrespectful, especially since I saw him clock out and leave while were in the middle of being fitted. Fast forward two weeks (beginning of October) and we get the pants. Guess what? They dont fit. We brought them back to have them fixed, to which the store initially tried to charge us for the tailoring, even though we bought the pants there and already paid for the tailoring. We were forced to wait three weeks to get the pants re-altered after clearing up the payment debacle. We come back again on October 19th and they still dont fit! The store refused to tailor them more for one reason or another, even though there was clearly space in the pants and they were extremely ill fitting in the waist. So now we are stuck with $170 dress pants that he cant even wear because of this lack of attention or care for our needs. We are extremely disappointed and now will have to shell out additional money because of your stores negligence and lack of attentiveness. Very unfortunate and quite frankly unprofessional, so I would appreciate it if someone from customer service would get in touch with me and make this right. We have gone to other locations and they have made size 30 pants work, so theres no reason why this company cant help us.Business Response

Picked up suit rental for an out of state wedding and did not match the wedding partys suits. Spoke to mens wearhouse on 11/3 where the front staff stated that the group number (********) did not match the name of the wedding party (******). I explained to him that I received the wrong shirts (white), the wedding partys was black, incorrect fitting on the pants along with black strips down the side (not like the wedding partys). The jacket had a rip in the sleeve. I contacted the mens wearhouse that it was purchased from and the manager (******) stated that there was nothing she could do. I explained to her that the wedding was out of state and that when I got to the wedding that the groom stated that my suit was wrong. I explained to ****** that they had the group number for the wedding and it was their duty to confirm all items were correct! They werent helpful and provided no support to correct this misshapen especially since I had to wear this to the wedding!Business Response

Ive rented several times from M.W. This time I returned my tux and within 2 hours of dropping off the tux I realized I left valuables in my jacket pocket. I spoke with ***** the store manager at *************** store who said it was on a truck going to other stores for more pick **** They said they scanned it to check it back in which never happened or if it did somebody took our valuables we left behind. They kept putting me off when I would check in. I posted a review on yelp. Someone replied saying they take their business seriously and to send an email elsewhere. I did that to no avail. I dropped off a zipped up garment bag with a scan ticket on it that they had record of in their system When that arrived at final destination it was scanned with a note saying it has valuables. They would be put in lost and found and we would be contacted. How many people unzipped it? One of those people stole straight out of my jacket pocket. We are confident whoever scanned and received the reference number that there were valuables in the coat stole the money. It was cash for tips at a wedding. Are there cameras? This was never a priority and Im extremely disappointed.Business Response

Once a rental is dropped of as a return, it is not searched nor opened at our store nor on our trucks. Only our ware house does the processing of our worn rentals for health and safety reasons. While we do make best efforts to return anything left behind in our rentals, we do make it clear in our terms and conditions found at **************************************************** under Rental terms and conditions: Property Left in Rental

Our ware house scanned the rental in on October 16th ************************************************************************************************************************* the reservation ********* for **** ****.As a curtesy to our customer, **** ****, we have requested a full refund of his rental amount $221.00 for reservation *********. This refund will be arriving by check in the next ***** business days. The transaction number for this refund is 8101*72*18334 and the corresponding receipt was sent via email to **** ****. We have also attached said receipt to this reply.

I am getting married October 19, 2024. We went to Men's Wearhouse for our tuxedo rentals. We were told that with a 6 person group, the groom would get his rental for free. The employee at Men's Wearhouse took all 6 names of our group and assured us that as the groom, I would get my rental for free. When I went to pick up my suit on October 15, 2024, I was charged full price and told "with a group of 6 ADDITIONAL groomsmen, the groom (the 7th member of the party) would get his rental for free. This obviously doesn't track with the original experience, whereupon they took 6 names and assured me I would get my suit for free. I'm upset that I was misled, and I think this kind of fraudulent business should be dealt with accordingly.Business Response

I rented a suit (Sep 2, 2024) from Mens Wearhouse, in ********, for a wedding (Oct 12, 2024) as I was to be a groomsman and the groom requested the groom party to rent from MW. Transaction# *********. I was fitted, paid and was just waiting for arrival to MW (which was suppose to be on the 9th of Oct.) The other individuals in the party live closer to *************** so they ordered from that location. Their location told them (on Oct 11th) that d/t the hurricane (******) their suits still haven't been shipped(or some delay) and they wouldn't be there for the wedding. They were issued a refund. On the same day (Oct 11th, 2 days after my suits original delivery date, with no time for alterations as the wedding is tomorrow, Oct 12th) I received an email stating my suit arrived. Now I will be the only groomsman to be wearing the intended colors for the wedding. I asked to get a refund as well d/t the dilemma of being the only green suit in the ****** party and they would not oblige. I understand this is a business, but d/t the circumstances of the hurricane delaying 99% of the parties suits, except mine, one would think they would lend some compassion and honor a refund as they did with the other party. Very disappointed that I spent over $220 for a suit that I will not be able to wear because it doesn't match with the wedding now.Business Response

I went in store for a suit in July for my October wedding. Got measured and got the suit ordered. It came in about a week later, and was wrong, the sizing was off on the jacket, and the pants were completely wrong. They said they would reorder it and it would be there within a week or so. I waited two weeks and didnt hear anything. I called the store and they said it was on the way. I waited a third week and called after still not hearing anything. The person I spoke to didnt even check, just kept saying it was on the way. It wasnt until I went back INTO THE STORE that someone would help me and eventually tell me the suit wasnt actually reordered. I was mad but we reordered it anyway. They told me 5-7 days. Which turned into 3 more weeks with numerous phone calls and calls to customer service where incorrect information was given to me with tracking numbers that didnt exist. After 8 weeks from when I initially went into the store the suit finally came in and 2 weeks before my wedding. I was promised a partial refund for everything that happened, but had to wait because their system hasnt updated to show that the suit even arrived. And they cant refund it until the system updates its been 2.5 weeks since then and still no refund in sight. I paid over $500 for the worst experience imaginable.Nothing has been done to make this right.Business Response

We were able to reach out to our customer, *** *****, and confirmed the refund amount as 50% of the custom purchase cost. That refund is completed as of today, October 8th 2024. The amount of refund was $280.37 . A confirmation email has already been sent to *** *****, as well as the expectation of 10 business days for his bank/card company to release the funds for use.
