      DO NOT SWITCH

      This company does nothing but scam you. I received a knock on my door telling me I'd be paying less to go with them, I would get a $150 reimbursement for the cancellation fees from my previous company, and I wouldn't have to pay a bill for 2 months.

      Firstly, their portal doesn't work, it took 2 weeks before I could log in. They have THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I was cold transferred 3 times before someone could help me. I also had to call regarding the reimbursement to figure out what the workflow was, again cold transferred everywhere and had to repeat myself NUMEROUS times. I sent my final bill to their customer service email and somehow they lost it. Had to send the email again after 2 weeks with no response.

      Now, I received a bill within 25 days of starting with the company with the exact amount from my previous electric company, $222. I called and advised of the misquote since that 2 month part was the reason I signed up. A supervisor called CS with me on a conference call and advised my reimbursement would be on this 1st bill on 8/29. Got another bill for $260 today. Now I'm being told my $150 reimbursement doesn't apply because I left the company (what do you expect with such horrible service? Gexa never treated me like this). A supervisor tried to tell me the reimbursement isn't applicable due to cancellation before 12 months, but the contract CLEARLY states that's only for prepaid plans, my plan was not prepaid. Nothing in that contract says I can't get my reimbursement on a regular plan because I switched back to my old company who NEVER treated me this way.

      This company is horrible, they give you the runaround, no one knows what they're doing and they gaslight you when you show them evidence of what THEY promised. Do yourself a favor and shut the door on any field agents, you don't want this headache. No wonder they're not BBB accredited, their only motive is to scam good people. Stay FAR away from this company.

      Do not switch to just energy. I signed up at ***’s club and they said it would cheaper than my previous supplier. What a mistake I made. My first bill was over $200 more compared to my previous supplier. I can’t believe ***’s Club would sponsor this company. I am trying to get out of the contract. It’s not an easy exit. I should of did my research

      I was approached at ***s. I was told that my bill would be lower then the company I was with so I switched. I live in a 3 bedroom 1400 square feet with two people. I’ve lived year ten yrs my bill has never been higher then 300. My first bill was 395. I paid it thinking it was hot weather. My next bill was 638 I disputed it. I paid the bill cause they said they where looking into it. 45 days later I still haven’t heard anything and my next bill was 528

      In a word horrible. They lie and manipulate you with fake prices and change them with 'required service fees'. I asked them out right if the rate includes the service fees and he told me yes and I received a bill later saying that it does not include service fees. They're customer service people don't speak English well at all. I would literally choose any where else.

      This company is a scam. The sales reps are real good about misleading people in ***** club and ***** club should immediately cut ties with them. My previous energy bill almost trippled in 1 month with Just Energy. They do not offer free nights 9pm to 7am. They in fact charge you at an ajusted rate. All in all with word play they can charge you 17.5 cents per KWH including nights but hide the fact that it is off set by charging 26 cents 7am to 9pm. Either way scam they charge you and try to explain it away. Never had a bill this high in 20 years. Already canceled service. I was told as a ***** Club member I could cancel if I didn't like the change without a fee in the first 90 days. Now the company is saying that wasn't true and I have to pay $175 on top of the $505 I just paid them.

      Made the mistake and signed up with them; had a representative trolling the isles of my local Sam's Club. I had been considering a 'green provider', though I never did any research. On the surface it sounded good, but that little voice in my head said, "don't do it!"...should have listened. Not only did it double what I paid for my gas/electric; it was VERY DIFFICULT to cancel!! Signed up 6/24, canceled 6/27 but just received my utility bill informing me I was BILLED for an entire month of gas despite two phone conversations confirming, no, INSISTING TO CANCEL. I am beyond furious with myself for being so gullible; and with Just Energy & their shady business model. At the very least they should be required to provide the current kwh rates of the local providers (in my case BGE) for a FAIR comparison. Who doesn't want to be green?; but NOT at the consumers expense. I learned my lesson the hard way folks...DO NOT FALL FOR A RANDOM SOLICITATION!! DO your homework first and save your money & frustration.

      DO NOT switch to this company as your energy supplier. I just received my first bill with Just Energy as my supplier and it was almost $200 more than my previous bill. I was assured multiple times my bill would not be much higher than I was currently paying. I even reviewed my most current bill with the agent I spoke with. The plan I was enrolled in was NOT explain properly and was simply a scam to get my business. I cancelled this company IMMEDIATELY but am stuck with them for another billing cycle until it switches back to my previous supplier (****** *******, who happens to be a whole lot cheaper and much more honest. Beware of the gimmicks they try to use to get your business.

      I was scammed from the word go. I was told I got a special rate for being a **** **** MEMBER. THATS A JOKE. Shame on **** **** for having them in their store selling very expensive electricity. My bill is higher than when I just left ***, Omg, ***!!!

      If I could leave negative stars I would!!!

      This company is an absolute SCAM!!!

      I switched 2 months ago and have had nothing but issues!!! My first bill I was slapped with a $28 late/ disconnection fee for being 2 days late because I got the due date wrong. Customer service was an absolute joke when I was trying to figure out what was going on and why I was sent a disconnection notice for being 2 days late. Fast forward I set up a payment plan for my next bill because it was over $400. Highest bill I’ve had in my house and I’ve lived here for over 10 years. I know what my usage is. Anyways, I made the arrangement on the chat function. Took screen shots of the whole conversation. I paid both before date due. After payment I see a balance left. Curious to what it was I waited forever to speak to someone. They proceeded to inform no payment plan had been set up on my account and I was slapped with another late/ disconnection fee. I was told I need to make arrangements over the phone. When I spoke to someone the first time they said I can use the online feature if I needed for anything. Why even offer the option online if I have to make it over the phone?! I was never once told in the arrangement process to call to make the arrangement. I had to press a agree/ or disagree button to the terms of the payment arrangement online. I pressed agree and it sent me all the info. I told the agent I’m not paying for their error. They stated they would submit for a waiver of the fees but would take 1-2 billing cycles. I told them that’s ridiculous and I’m not going to paying more fees on this for non payment of balance. I have screen shots for all of this!!! Stay far away from this company!!! From the looks of it tons of other people are having the same issues. How this company is still allowed to operate after theft is amazing to me!!!!
