  I paid off my car loan to Exeter Finance in February 2025. When they sent me the "Certificate of Title" it had my old address on it. The "Paid In Full Letter" had the new correct address and the Lien Satisfied had the old address. It was just a ******* new correct address was provided on almost every payment mailed in, called in, and mailed through a formal letter. There was no excuse NOT to have the title updated with the correct information. I spoke with ***** who was very unhelpful and told me to go to *** to get it corrected. The Lien Satisfied Letter would still be incorrectly addressed, which they refused to fix. I spoke to ****** in escalations who spoke to *.***** in the Certificate of ****************** who refused to fix anything and only suggested I go to the ****I asked to speak with ***** ***** the CEO to lodge a complaint about the poor customer service, as well as inaccurate paperwork never updated in their system. They all insisted they had no email address, phone number or way for me to contact him directly. They suggested I send their employees a letter to give to him. All they had to do was mail the title, lien satisfied and paid in full letter with the correct address. While ****** followed some process to try and do the right thing, everyone else could care less, and left me with a mess to try and fix. Even if the *** fixed the Certificate of title address, they still have to send me lien satisfied with the correct address which they REFUSE. They should have sent everything correct from the start. There's no excuse. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They do NOT care about customer service. I am so upset over how I will resolve this matter to where all the paperwork can be corrected.0 stars please!

  I am a cow borrow and co owner on a vehicle for my son , they didn't put me on the title and my son defaulted on the loan so I have no legal rights to the car but I am financially responsible for it , the blame this mistake on the dealership mistakes do happen but they should have caught this and had it fixed , extere finance paid the dealership it is exteres responsibility to make sure the paperwork is correct prior to completion of the loan and payments, now they hold me responsible for there mistakes and have jeopardized my credit score in the meantime Prior to finding out this issue, he went in default on insurance i notified the and asked them to enforce insurance they refused the car received damages and is not covered under insurance

  Only because 0 isnt an option. I was told i could pay 3 months ahead and I made last payment in October with November December and ******* paid and they are calling in December saying it was late then hit my credit and charging me late fees. I talk to them they say oh you can only pay 2 months ahead but still have 2 late fees from December and *******. The one manager tried to talk down to me like I was a child in the principals office. I told him the woman I spoke to early on said I could pay 3 months ahead, he said I could only do 2 and it was stated in the contract. So I ask him if he would be ok if he was treated like this and I dont care what the contract says I expect someone that works with the company to know the contract and not lie to me. Exeter is obviously ok with cheating customers with putting stuff in the small print then telling you conflicting information so you are forced to pay more on top of their crazy high interest rate. Whatever happened to treat people like you want to be treated? I hope they stub their toe and get coal in their stocking. karma will enact my vengeance.

  I have been trying to payoff my car loan since December of last year, it is now almost March. Exeter Finance has had a payoff check, in a cashier's check form which is like CASH and already out of my account and they refuse to apply it to my account. Everytime I call, the customer service **** first says they don't have the check. After escalating to a manager they all of a sudden can find it, but I have to call back in 3 days so they can talk to the right department to get the check applied to my account.... I have called 15 times, gone through this same process every single time, and have gotten nowhere. THEY REFUSE TO LET ME PAYOFF MY CAR AND CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. They are adding late fees, etc. THIS COMPANY IS SHADY AND AND ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

  ****.. THEY ARE THE WORST. I STILL HAVE A CAR IN THE YARD,I ASK THEM TO COME GET 2MONTHS AGO. CALLED EVERYDAY AND STILL DIDN'T COME GET IT. ATTEMPTED TO FILE ON BBB,THEY NOT EVEN LISTED. STAY AWAY.. GOD DONT LIKE UGLY,THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT.. . I ADVISED AGAINST IT AND I WAS JUST THE COSIGNER.

  ***** this company all cost. Do not do it. It is not worth a headache. Run away. They seem to have lost a $6,000 check and they can't find it for the last 4 months. Do not do it. Run away. Worst company ever.

  This company charge an extra $25,000 when the car was sold to me for $20,000 and i put down $12,000 I had not a clue about the extra $25,000 so that almost $46,000 i didn't no about until i run my credit report that my balance hasn't moved i have this car going to 2years , please dont do business with this company.
