  My house had some water damages and Trustar Restoration LLC helped with moving my things and getting the house ready for repairs. During this process they informed me that my home owners insurance will take of everything. Upon completion of the repairs and moving back things into the house, they inflated their bill and the insurance denied paying the inflated bill and only paid what the insurance adjuster thought was the market value for the services provided.Unfortunately for me, after 2 years, I received a Default Judgment from the court stating that they sued me for non-payment of the surpluses of about $97,000 from the inflated bill they sent to my insurance.This has left me and my family in an uncomfortable and insurmountable level of stress. This is price gouging and shouldnt be allowed. Currently pending a court ruling as I filed to vacate the case and have a proper case hearing and judgement. Pray for my family.

  We hired TruStar to Restoration to demo our master bath that had been damaged from a backed-up sewer line back in May-June of 2023 . TruStar was recommended to us by the plumber who repaired our sewer-line.The sales agent represented TruStar to us well. When we asked him about the cost of the demolition, he promised us that whatever our insurance company would pay for their work, TruStar would accept without question. The only out-of-pocket costs to us would be our deductible. He insisted that TruStar had a good working relationship with our insurance company and that there would be no problem whatsoever.TruStar completed their demo in two days. The paperwork that documented TruStar's work used codes that were completely unfamiliar to us. There were no specific monetary charges cited. Just codes. When we asked TruStar for clarification of those codes, they refused to clarify them for us. We also found several line items of work on the paperwork that TruStar never did. We spent days trying to get those items removed.Our insurance company promptly paid out an amount to TruStar that TruStar later claimed was insufficient. I received just one call from TruStar demanding payment, but they refused to say what dollar amount was owed. We heard nothing more from TruStar. However, six months later we received a letter from an attorney's office (out of ******** claiming to represent TruStar. The attorney's office demanded we pay them $5,000. We responded that we did not owe TruStar anything because TruStar accepted the payment from the insurance company and did not provide any communication of what was still owed. We heard nothing for almost a year now. The attorney's office has once again started calling demanding money. TruStar did okay work, but they've proved themselves to be unethical and money grabbers. They refuse to communicate clearly and fairly. Don't hire this company.**********, **

  If you are looking for a trustworthy, capable and efficient company to handle your water damage needs, TruStar Restoration should be on the top of your list.I contacted TruStar and a representative was at my home within the hour. This was a stressful time to consider having to deal with the amount of water damage that we had, but TruStar's prompt attention helped alleviate much stress.******* came to my home and patiently walked through our damaged rooms and explained the next steps and the Texas standards. I was thankful for his patience with me and all of the wealth of information that he shared.Every staff member that came to my home was professional, pleasant and efficient. With their patience, we were able to work together to get everything done! I was so thankful for their manner and cooperation.******* and *** consistently make themselves available to answer any questions. Everyone else has been so pleasant and humble. They are so efficient and on top of that, they are so easy to deal with and pleasant.I am thoroughly pleased with the work that they have done and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

  ******* was excellent, efficient and patient- clearly answered every question. I was so hopeless and lost after filing a claim with my insurance company. I had sooo many questions and was confused about the damages and overall process. ******* took the time to explain and was very knowledgeable.

  ***** and the TruStar team were a delight to work with. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The restoration job was done swiftly and on time. I appreciate their honesty and guidance in working with the insurance company to provide all necessary information in a timely manner. I would use them again.

  Woke up to water damage from a bathroom leak overnight. Called TruStar and they were true to their word in a 1 hour response time. Within 3 hours of discovering the damage they were here, documented, we signed all paperwork, they explained everything and walked us through the process and our claim was filed and remediation to avoid any mold growth had begun. I highly recommend!!
