I just opened a new account on 01-26-23. I tried to deposit a check by digital banking. It was rejected and my account was deleted, shut down! I made one deposit and one transaction. This would have been my second deposit. It's so weird! The check is good and easily can be confirmed. The account wasn't put on hold. IT WAS CLOSED! Strangest banking experience I've ever had. P.S. Unable to talk with anyone at the bank branch itself.

Part 2 of FNBT holding my funds. So after I filed a complaint with the corporate office. I received a call from the branch manager at the location I visited. Name is Major *****. He was too happy to inform me. How his division manager was upset about the complaint. He stayed she said that she would hold my funds for additional 5 days. I then called the corporate office again. To update them on the current situation. I asked for this to be escalated to the next level. The rep explained to me that I should still receive my funds by 12:01am on 12/04/2023. Funds are still not available and I did not receive a call from the escalation team. If I could rate them a zero right now I would. The check was verified on 12/30/2022 by the branch manager Major ***** himself. At this point they're robbing me. This has been the most horrible experience entering the new year! Someone needs to be fired at this point!!!

Each deposit is considered on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with our Funds Availability Policy provided at Account opening. If we make a decision to delay the availability of a deposit, we provide written notice of the hold decision at the time of the deposit; or if during post deposit review, via email to the email address on file for the party reflected as Depositor; or to the address on file, if no email address is available. We do show that attempts to reach you by phone in relation to a contact request escalation received on January 3, 2023 were made, but were not successful due to the phone number on file with us not being in service. Our records indicate that this matter has since been resolved. For any further information or inquiries you may engage in Live Chat during normal business hours, submit a *********************** request message, contact Customer Support at ************ or visit any banking center. Thank you for being a valued customer.

Stole $145 out of my $100 balance in BS returned mail fees and sub-100 balance fees. They were going to keep billing $22 every month indefinitely until I happened to try to close it for disuse. I had to pay the $45 deficit before they'd even close the account. NEVER AGAIN.

I got my info stolen from me . And after reporting the fraud. FNBT is dead set on saying I have been identified as making transaction. They gave me name and address of the company and it doesnt exist, the address is a random house with no legal means of commerce especially not a Tattoo shop. yet my bank says the fabricated receipt with my phone number is enough to identify me as the culprit. Only 1% of fraud is ever caught; because of banks like FNBT that make is so easy to get away with it. My phone number on a receipt is apparently identification.

Very bad experience. I am an international student, my fellow student recommended this bank to me. They closed my bank account after 2 weeks of opening one because they input the wrong SSN, so I had to go again to bring my Ssn. I also found out they never mailed me a permanent card. So i had to order one. And its been past the delivery days so customer service said it might have gotten lost in the mail, and there was no way to track it. They offered me to do rush order which will cost me 25$ which is a lot for me, but in return I will be able to track the delivery. Life is already hard for me. Isnt it my right to receive my permanent card? What kind of customer service is this.

I have banked with a subsidiary of this institution (1stcb) for over 20 years and the service has gone down considerably. From the clueless tellers in the banks (dreadful individuals) to the ridiculously long wait to speak with someone on the phone (over an hour the last time I had to call), they do everything they can to let you know... THEY REALLY DON'T CARE. They allowed fraudulent, unauthorized transactions to go through for nearly $400, but put a hold on my account a few months ago when I made a purchase for $20. Make it make sense! And anyone expecting a quick resolution to unauthorized charges can forget it. I was told I will be reimbursed for any fees or charges assessed if my account overdrafts because of the theft. But what am I supposed to do in the meantime while they decide if my money was actually stolen? I have bills that need to be paid, but I can't pay them because they've given the money to thieves and now I have to wait 10 days to get it back. Thoroughly disgusted with the lack of care or concern. As soon as I get my money back (and they WILL give me my money back because they don't want this smoke) I'm closing this account and going somewhere that I know my money will be secure.

I joined the bank in ****. They have lost their care and concern for their customers. Feels like a cold corporate environment. Recently I made an error that resulted in a NSF charge. I have not had one of those for over 10 years. I realize that they are there to make money, but what is their penalty for making a mistake? Much better banks to consider that will watch your back, not stab it.

SCAM beware!! This bank (inside ******* in ******, ** -********.) has a coin machine where there is no SIGN/POSTING saying the bank charges 10% for the exchange of coins to bills, and NEITHER do they post that if you do not take the receipt to the teller that same day, you will LOOSE your money!!! They kept the money because the receipt was not taken to the teller that same day!!! When the teller at the window told my niece, dont worry you can do it anytime! SCAM!!And the branch manager ************************************* was very RUDE about it! Do NOT bank here! Beware!
