      We.ordered and paid for a Sealy mattress and bed frame on 7/25/22. It was delivered 8/11/22. After about a month, my husband said he thought the mattress was defective. It felt like he was rolling out of bed. We took the mattress off the frame and checked the frame, nothing wrong there, so we turned the mattress and I tried that side. It does feel like I'm rolling to the right. DEFECTIVE mattress. I have spent the last 2 weeks calling the JCPenneys store in *********, Sealy, JC Penneys Corp -- back & forth, they constantly told me to call the other party. Still no satisfaction!! Sealy to!d me this week to call the store back and have them file a Warranty Claim. The store manager says they don't file those and gave me yet another number to call. OMG!!!! I'm getting the run around!!! I was told we had 48 hrs to return a damaged mattress. It wasn't damaged, it was defective. How can you tell if something is wrong with a mattress in 48 hrs??And I need to pay 15% ($119.85) restock fee first, order & pay for a new mattress, and they will refund me for a new one! Totally ridicules! I will never buy another thing from JCPenneys!!!

      I recently purchased a mattress from JCP, when the mattress was delivered to my home it was soiled, in 3 different places, I called JCP for more than a week and they refused to give me a discount, I was advised by JCP to return the mattress and place a new order, this was done, the new order came and the mattress again had the same soiled marks on it, I refused the mattress and cancelled the order. I believe this mattress was in the JCP showroom as when I went there to look at different ones I saw that same stain on a few mattresses in the showroom. It is so disgusting a company like JCP will deliver a mattress in that condition knowing that the customer have to sleep on the mattress, and its not something you can wash, the customer service reps were so rude and unwilling to work with me, they promised to call me back and to date have not, its now going on 2 months going through this process, I have placed an order with the manufacturer ************** and have to wait another two weeks for delivery, I do nt presently have a mattress on my bed. I have pics to prove it so does the delivery company, as they are the ones that first pointed out the dirty mattress to me, but said they are just delivering so they could not have refused to do the delivery. (wish I could give minus zero stars)

      I bought my husband a ring on 12/17/2021 and added the lifetime warranty. Recently, he notified me that his ring was becoming hard to take off. I knew that I had purchased the Lifetime Warranty and decided to look for the receipt. I could not find my receipt, so my husband and I called our local JCPenney Store and asked if they could find my warranty through my or my husband's cellphone number. The sales associate looked up our information and stated that she did not see anything under my number but found two accounts under my husband. She could not pull anything up under my husband's accounts due to the old computer system. I always take pictures of my receipts, so I looked through my phone and found the receipt. I called the sales associate ****** back and gave her all my information from the receipt. She said that I have the lifetime plan, and I can get the ring resized and clean if it is a particular type of ring. On 9/10/2022, my husband and I went to the JCPenney Store and provided ****** and other sales associate with my receipt; they took my phone and looked at my husband's ring and said that since his ring was one of the ones that could not be resized, I would have to refund the ring and order his size. After having my receipt on my phone for about 20 mins, ****** notified ** that since the purchase was almost made a year ago, I could not refund the ring as well as they were not able to find my lifetime warranty. I am very unhappy with not being able to have my husband's ring serviced, as well as purchasing the lifetime warranty and not being able to use any of its features due to it not being in the system. I now have a ring that is too tight for my husband and a lifetime warranty that I can not use.

      I placed an order with JCPENNEY on October 9, 2022. After several days without any updates on my order, I called to ask when I could expect my items to be delivered to the nearest store & was told it would be over 2 weeks. I requested to cancel the order since I was told some items weren't readily available. I was told I could not cancel the order since the items were being shipped to the store. I asked to speak with a Supervisor so I could request a cancellation of the entire order. The Supervisor referred me to the local JC PENNEY since that was where the items were being delivered. I called my local store; however, was told to call JC PENNEY.com again. I reached out to online customer service where they gave me another phone number to call. This entire ordeal has been rediculous. The order status should have been made known once the items weren't available. Then the option of cancellation should have been given. I'm frustrated & disappointed with JCPENNEY and will not shop with them again. IF these items make it to my local JCPENNEY, I plan to return them immediately. I've never had such a terrible time with ordering items from a retail store, but this experience has taught me not to shop JCPENNEY again. They've definitely lost me as a customer.

      I ordered curtain panels for my home and was given an approximate delivery date. I'm highly disappointed as Part of my order had been delivered early and had gone missing or was stolen. After confirming with ******************* customer service I was told that I needed to file a police report in order to get my money back which was NOT listed anywhere on my email notification of delivery ..it only listed that sometimes packages say delivered when they haven't been, or it's arriving separately and of course to either contact them or the carrier. ******************* policy is knowingly deceitful and unfair as I'm forced to do their job in order to get my money back! I was even told by the service representative " well that's what we require in order to ascertain that we get our money back too." I called corporate and they confirmed it as well, stating that they'd be sure to let management know, which I call BS on as I'm certain this is NOT the first time this has happened or a customer has complained. I will never order from them again and have it shipped to my home!

      I like J C Penny stores; but since they decided to put the wrong address on my bill ; it got sent back to the them they decided to charge me an extra $63 dollars on my bill for their mistake. I don't think I should be charge for their mailing error. I been a loyal customer so I don't want my reputation mess up, my credit and I been doing good on paying on time. The reason I am late, because they did not send my bill to right address the said on the phone. They put the wrong address on it! I been patiently waiting for them to send it to me. They sent it late, because they mess up my address, but they are charging me a late charge, if the don't remove, I will be closing my card from them.

      @jcp on 8/31 at approximately 6pm I was shopping at your location in **************. I went to purchase a new pillow and grabbed one that was signed $34.99. These pillows and signage was on a front endcap. When the employee rang it up the price was $99.99. I explained to her that there is a sign that stated that those pillows were $34.99. I walked back and took a picture to shower her. Meanwhile two more employees came over and by this time I walked two employees over to the pillows with the incorrect signage. They explained to me that they will not honor the price. They also did not show me the pillow that was actually $34.99. I know this all might sound ***** for a pillow but I think the most disappointing part was that the problem was not corrected. The employee ********* walked away from the area with the price accuracy issue and did not remove the signage. Being a store in ********** I'm sure you are aware of the price accuracy laws. For JCP I hope weights and measures does not come out to audit your location in ************** because they would fail. #dobetterjcp

      I started this journey in December 2021. Through Uniters Warranty I would be getting a replacement loveseat. Finally, in July, Uniters emailed JCP that someone would contact me to set up a replacement shipping date. JCP insists they never got the email, even though I did. I spent 2 days on the phone with JCP last week and spoke to multiple people and all had different answers. One said I had to pay for the item. Nicole said someone will call back in 2-3 days. To date, no one has called me back. Now I have to waste another day being transferred all over the place because no one knows what the hell they are talking about. What happened to JCP? Used to be my "Go To" store, but now I give all my business to Kohls. DO NOT BUY ANY LARGE ITEMS FROM THIS STORE.

      I think I got scammed on my order, I othered a dress on August 10, 2022, I checked my on line order on August 19, 2022, it said it was delivered on October of 2021 ( ordered this year and it said delivered last year) I called customer service and they said it was a glitch and should have it the next day which was August 20,2022. Still no dress, I called today August 25,2022 and I got the same answer it was a glitch, so of course I cancelled the order and wanted a confirmation number that I cancelled and the lady told me they don't do that. Called up my credit card company to let them know I think I was scammed. Will not shop or order from JC Penney again.

      I went into the store for their home sale on all Home and Decor. And I noticed some pretty crazy deals so i moved through different depts and spend about 4-500. I had a need for a deep massager and purchased online for store pick up, it was not going to be ready the same day so i went in and purchased it and cancelled my store pick up but kept the shipped item. I was refunded the next day 109.86. And then i was charged 109.86 on the 15th of August when the shipped out the 8.86 shipped to home item. which mind you was already paid for the day i placed the initial order. I could not get in touch with anyone to help me and when i did they kept saying how they couldn't help me , it was so and so. im so mad right now. How are they charging me for items i never got and then when i ask why this charge happened I'm told to talk to the bank. I am mad, i made a complaint with corporate and now BBB. Be careful i think this company is falling fast and their support is wack
