      I dont recommend this builder at ALL! They have the worst warranty department. Multiple neighbors at ******** in ********* Tx are experiencing draining ********* yard flooded the very next day after closing. I have been battling this issue for 3 months with no signs of being fixed. The irrigation system from the house next door floods my side yard, and American Legend doesnt know how to fix the issue. The only option given was to lay out sod. So do your self a favor and stay clear from them.

      Customer satisfaction is very important to American Legend Homes, and we are aware of the draining issues and have been working diligently with the homeowner to improve the drainage situation by re-grading, surveying, resolving irrigation issues, and re-sodding as necessary to achieve a resolution to the issue.

      Poor quality homes for the money they take. They refuse to fix defective materials and don't honor the warranty for issues reported.

      We have had a wonderful experience with American Legend Homes! During the 1st 3 months there were a few electrical issues with the house, but the warranty company addressed them within 48 hours. We couldn't ask for better service and support with our new Inspiration Hilltop home!

      The construction quality of my home with ALH is nightmare in prosper star trail ,I am in a situation , I have to halt my work and need to go to site daily to observe all the issues , they been using dirty and cracked lumber . There is no chance of resolving issues even after I complain . The foundation is having lot of issuers they were not proactive in resolving until I let them know . They were building couple other homes if the owner is not checking there is no doubt you will get a scrap and youre going to waste your money .

We have constructed our beautiful homes for thousands of current very satisfied homeowners, and we utilize high quality material and labor partners in all of our homes. In addition, all homes we construct undergo multiple city code inspections at various construction stages to ensure the homes are built to the exacting standards of each municipality, including the City of ******* in our ********************* We pride ourselves on a high level of communication, and welcome feedback from our customers through the build process; however, we disagree completely with the BBB review from this customer.

      Our build experience with ALH was horrible from the very start when they poured the wrong foundation, installed windows, walls, and outdoor stone crooked, and forgot to attach a bedroom window to the framing. Issues with nearly every contractors work and absent ALH oversight. If we didn't drive by daily to observe, issues would remain Warranty has also been a nightmare, a struggle, and inconsistent. Latest is that *** refuses to replace a dead tree that they planted less than 1-yr. ago. Stay away from this clown show of a builder.

      American Legend Homes values our customers and the overall customer experience, and while landscaping is not covered under warranty, last year we replaced the customers sod throughout the front yard, and adjusted the irrigation system to make sure it was covering all parts of the yard. The dead tree outlined in the BBB review is in the parkway and not a warrantable item, but as a courtesy, we replaced the tree last year. We have spoken to the customer, and they were under the impression that as homeowners they are not responsible for the parkway as they believed it was not their property. We have communicated that as homeowners, they are responsible for maintaining the parkway just as they would the rest of their yard. We continue to honor warrantable items for all our customers, and believe that we have taken all the necessary steps related to this customers inquiry.

      I purchased an American Legend home and issues are swept under the rug, nothing gets fixed, they tell you to “keep an eye on it” or do a band-aid fix and then say sorry, out of warranty when it reverts back or insist that the issue is normal and will not repair. These are the replies I have received from them. I have severe cracking concrete, buckling ceilings, bedroom door that has never latched. Everything was brought to their attention within the warranty period.
