What a *************. I've had the device for less than a year. It cost me over $600 and would have been over $2,000 if I hadn't gotten a reduction. I re-broke my foot. So, my doctor told me to start reusing it. I called the company because the device is not staying charged after taking it off the charger. I was told that the device "expires on December 5th" and that I would have to get a new one with a new prescription. Whoever heard of a device "expiring" that cost that much? It's a complete scam.

I bought into this devise after having neck surgery. I was told this would really help with my healing process. The claim was made through my insurance, and of course it was denied. I requested the company dispute the denial after speaking to my insurance carrier relaying what needed to be said to have the approval go through. That never happened. I was called and said they would offer me a price of ****** because my insurance denied covering of which I could make payments. 4 months later I received an invoice for $2,858.67. I called and was told I could make payments on the statement amount but the ****** was offered as a onetime prompt payment option. I said this is not what I was told. They said they would pull the phone call and let me know the outcome. They called back and said I had to pay the statement amount and that I could not return the devise. I was told again they could pull the phone record and let me know. Out of total frustration I paid the ********* FAR AS I AM CONCERNED THIS IS A TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH. I have no idea if this thing even works - but I did walk around with it on my neck for 4 months looking like a freak ! ! !I wish there was a lower rating I could give them.

As a patient I think these units are snake oil. These types of therapy have been tried for years. Just dont see the proof! Tens units definitely snake oil. This to wear for two hours a day for six months I think is a joke.

Double charging and refusing to refund overpayment. Orthofix made me pay their "discounted price" in full to receive the device. 2 months later they got the insurance company to pay and since I already met my OOP *** my portion is $0. Tried getting my overpayment refunded since July but they just kept making excuses. They refused to respond in writing as to why they were keeping both my money and the insurance company's money so I used the last option I could and filed fraud reports with the *** and the ** Div of Consumer Affairs (Since that's where I'm located). Not sure if they'll investigate this but at least they have all the proof about this "business". Looking at their history, it appears they have quite the history of illegal activities.

I need help with info on this brace.Has any suffered any side effects of this brace? I used it after my back surgery in 2019. I was told to wear it for 2 hours everyday. However, it caused excruciating bone pain and also interfered with ATM machines and gas pumps. I stopped using it and the pain continued and progressed.I continued to get weaker and weaker and was ultimately diagnosed with AML Leukemia. After months of fighting, chemotherapy, radiation and a full bone marrow transplant, I'm still fighting. Is this just coincidental. I don't think so. And I want other people to know what happened. Thank you *****************************

Read the reviews below and you will know how this Company works. In our case there was no mention of any costs at all only to later receive a $500 co pay from the ins company.
I believe that this is a total case of them trying to defraud the Medicare plan using the Ins company's as their tool.
If they ever show up on your door step turn them away as you will end up paying in the end regardless of what they say.

Orthofix Bone Growth Therapies visited me at the doctors office to tell me insurance would pay 100% for a bone stimulator. Once I realized that my insurance would have me pay a co pay of $372 I called ***** to return the stimulator. I never even used it. She told me she doesnt get involved insurance. ***** did pick it up, but apparently got lost in transist. They have no record of it because I couldn't give a specific date. Was told too bad and that I was still responsible for payment.
I tried to call customer service and they finally were able to help. They say ot could take up to 120 days. Why am I still getting a bill
***** misrepresented her company and should consider another job.
