    I purchased an air conditioning unit thru Dexterity Heating and Air July 2022. I called Dexterity to come out and service the unit June 2024 due to it not cooling, I have called several times, left messages as well as sent a message via their website. They have not responded. When calling all I get is a recording. The unit is only 2 years. Given the amount of money that I spent with them, I should be able to get them to come out and service the product they installed.

    I purchased an air conditioning unit from this company for $10;000.00 in 2022. This purchase has a warranty from this company for 3 years of labor and 10 years for parts from the manufacture. This system is not working and I have called this company for 3 days and file a repair request on line with no response.Please help me

    Issue has been resolved without incident. The issue was contacting the company. However, after being contacted by the business, they responded and address the problem quickly. Therefore, I am requesting to close this complaint. 

    Service  received was very professional.

    Dexterity Air and Heating came into my home on October 30, 2023 to access a problem with my Heat Pump cooling and heat unit. They submitted a diagnosis indicating that my unit was over heating due to clogging from excessive debris in the unit...this is not true. They also noted that there was no refrigerant in the unit...this was the cause that the unit was not cooling. They took pictures of unit and sent to Choice Home Warranty noting that system was overheating and a leak was caused from the debris...said unit was dirty and not maintained. They also suggested a purchase a new unit, they were eager to sign a deal...said they could put in on the same day. There was a lot of pressure for me to get a new system.I paid Dexterity $85 for the service visit with a credit card. I received a text message letting me know I paid the fee. However, I requested a written receipt that would show details and diagnosis of the service visit. I wanted to know what they told Choice about the unit. I texted and called several times and provided my email address. I still have not received a written invoice and the details provided to Choice Home Warranty was the main cause my claim was denied. I received the diagnosis submitted to Choice today, I was surprised that they stated the debris was the cause of the refrigerant leak. I would like a written receipt showing the details of the service visit and the diagnosis. I would like for them to amend the diagnosis.

    Date of Transaction: August 20 - August 24, 2023 Amount of Reimbursement: $824 Business Committed: Fix Air Conditioning Problems Nature of Dispute: They failed to call or contact us once they accepted the job from our Choice Home Warranty. We contacted them many times, but no answer and voicemail always full. Our home warranty fee is would have been $75 but having to call an outside company our out-of-pocket cost $824.

    Dexterity was scheduled to come for appt on 6.27.23 between **** pm. We have been waiting and waiting but no call or visit. I tried to call the company but the number goes straight to voice mail stating VM not set up. No wayto leave a message. My home warranty company was notified. They cclaim they called the technician and tat he would call me to confirm appt. We never received a call. It is now 2 hrs past his appointment window. This is very poor business. And the fact the business is not BBB rated, I have no faith this company is legit.
