We appreciate ****** ***** reaching out to us regarding this matter.  Our records show that Whole Life policy ******** was issued to ****** ***** with an effective date of August 22, 2022.  The policy has a paid to date of February 22, 2025. The policy was issued as applied for and has a monthly premium of $60.02.The writing agent was appointed with our office.

This policy is payable for 58 years.  That information is available on page 3 of the policy.  There is no basis for a refund of premiums on this policy.  If the insured wishes to cancel the policy please have them reach out to me directly at **********************************

      Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:   on August ******* I was called and told if I paid the original amount of $56.00 a month and new amount of $60.02 until I turned 65 then I wouldn't have to pay any more when I called they said there is no plan like that and they out ***** people to silicate to sell policies and they would send forms with directions on what I can change all I recieved was copies of the insurance policies that I have. I want them to honor what I was told when I asked to talk to a supervisor it went to a recording I left a message and never heard from anyone meanwhile each month they keep taking $116.02 out of my checking  account,my wife had to lessened her hours because of market place insurance so it puts us in a bind we thought this was stopping in October 2024

We appreciate the insured allowing our office the opportunity to respond to this.  We cannot honor the request, because we do not offer a life insurance policy that will be paid up with the number of years stated in the complaint.  The insured was issued a new policy to add additional coverage, as you cannot add face value to an existing policy.

The insured is welcome to reach out to me directly at ********************************** with any other questions.

American Income Life Insurance manipulated us into buying several policies and we were paying several hundred dollars every single month. Everytime we tried to cancel, they would explain we could get a smaller policy for less money and would add it but not delete the previous policy. We tried to cancel the policies on multiple occasions. We finally canceled everything and cashed out the policies. However, 8 months later we found out that we still had a policy. They had taken the cash amount of $1,500 and was paying the premium with it. AIL is absolutely crooked and after years of battling them, I will NEVER use them again. I will also NEVER recommend them to anybody.

      Business Response

      Date: 02/25/2025

We would like to thank Mr. ****** for allowing us to respond.  A review of our records shows that Mr. ****** called our office on January 11, 2024 and provided 4 specific policy numbers that he wished to have cancelled. Those policies were removed from automatic bank draft to prevent his account from being drafted during the cancellation process and a cancellation form was sent to him to be completed and returned to  our office for processing.  The completed form was received in our office on January ******* and those four policies were cancelled.

Mr.****** called our office on June 4, 2024 and inquired on the loan value of his remaining life policy and was offered the maximum loan value of $922.11 which he accepted.  A check for this amount was sent to Mr. ****** which we show cleared our bank on June 24, 2024 and created a loan against the available cash value of the policy.  This, in addition to automatic premium loans placed against the cash value of the policy to prevent it from lapsing caused the policy to lapse without value since no further premium payments were received.

Mr.****** acknowledged during his phone calls with our office that he was aware that he had several policies with our Company and that cash value had been used to pay the premiums using the automatic premium loan provision of each life policy and further stated that he had obtained coverage with another Company which was the reason for the cancellation of the coverage. We do not show where $1,500 were used to pay for past due premiums collectively or individually on any of Mr. ******* policies.

As requested by Mr. ******* the policy is his wifes name has remained active as well as the accident policy covering only Mr. ************* In addition, we also show an accident only policy on Mr. ****** is active for which the annual premium is $1.00 and is currently paid to April 11, 2025.

We hope to have addressed Mr. ******* concerns.

Ive been a customer of this business for over 10 years. I called them on 1/10/2025 and informed them that I wanted to cancel my policy. I argued either that day that my premium should be prorated and I should be refunded the unused portion. They claimed they dont do things that way. Then said they would mail me a letter that I needed to sign and mail back. They also informed me that my policies would be canceled as of 1/26/2025 and 2/22/2025. I had 2 policies. Then in 2/12/2025 they took the monthly premium out of my checking account. I called them IMMEDIATELY upon noticing this. They asked if I had returned the letter they mailed me ( which it took 3 weeks for me to receive ) I informed them that I had mailed it back. They claimed they had not received it yet so until they receive it Im still responsible for the premiums. I feel like this letter mailing thing is all a scam to get one more premium out of people. And it needs to be stopped.

We signed up for life insurance over ***** years ago and I keep getting calls daily/multiple times a day after I've asked them to stop calling me. They want to go over our policy and I stated we didn't need to, they want it online done through a zoom call. I am not doing anything electronically. they can mail me copies explaining or send a live human to explain in person. They refuse and will not stop calling me, even after I have stated to stop calling me.

****** I termed my life insurance policy DBA National Income Life Insurance Company I mailed and emailed all documents requested. and this was confirmed by multiple representatives that the document is in my file. I was due a refund of $560.00. Every month I would receive a invoice and I would contact the company and was told disregard the invoice your refund is being processed. The last invoice I received showed that all monies that I was due a refund was applied to every month that they sent me an invoice. Out come. They did not cancel my policy so that I could get a refund instead used the money to apply towards my invoices that I was told to ignore. I have email proof of communication and was told that the manager was processing my refund. Now there is no refund on my account as they applied it towards my account even though I cancelled the policy. We obtained life insurance coverage through my husbands employer **. No one had dealt with this company before and it didn't seem bad at the time. The agent constantly called from different phone number and harassed us to come over when we had just seen him a few months prior. We decided to cancel to save money as we were moving into a new home we purchased and really did not like the behavior of this company. We sent the change of address form with the cancellation form in September. They wanted my older children to sign separate forms, they were refaxed as asked. They continued to withdrawal our account on 2 separate occasions which was only $60 in total or so. We have called since September and they say they are mailing the refund check. Each and every time I call I am directed to someone else who tells me I need different items, all which have been previously faxed. They end up saying that they have everything already needed and they do not see what is taking so long for them to send the check. I called again after Christmas and still have not received the refund and was told in 5-10 business days. It is all documented in their notes various places and I have copies and successfully sent fax jobs for verification. They DO have the form with my signature as well on the cancellation form and they say they need a form in writing with my signature.... the cancellation request is the cancellation form they sent me! They will not refund our money and we want to be done with this company for good. I can not resolve this on my own because they just keep telling me the same thing.

I have been receiving harassing phone calls nearly every daysometimes multiple times a dayfor the last several months from individuals claiming to be from American Income Life. They are persistently trying to set up a Zoom call to discuss policy information for someone named *******. I am not *******, and I have never had any association with American Income Life. These calls are relentless, often coming 2-4 times in a row. The callers do not leave voicemails but instead send text messages from completely different numbers. This behavior is highly suspicious and could easily be a scam. I do not want to answer these calls or respond to the texts, especially since they are contacting the wrong person, and I never provided my number to them.Despite blocking the numbers, new ones continue to contact me. This has been an ongoing issue for several months, and I am beyond frustrated. I am requesting that American Income Life or any affiliated parties remove my phone number from their system and cease all unsolicited calls and texts immediately.

This company has been calling me me every week since October. The person calling will be told to remove my phone number from their list so they will then pass it to another person with a different phone number in a different state so I can't block them or contact anyone in a management position. I have been trying for months to resolve this problem and keep getting harassed. I reported as spam and then get another phone number that calls or texts me.

Late in 2023, I received numerous phone calls from American Income/Globe Life. After engaging in a Zoom call resulting from one of the first calls, I found they were disguising their intent to sell me their products by claiming they were a no cost benefit through my employer. I found through my employer that was not the case. During the 2 months following that Zoom call, I informed agents of American Income/Globe Life to stop calling me. I finally found reprieve after two months on continued calls, often occurring during inconvenient hours. Today, 02/10/25, I received another phone call from a ******* ***** who represented herself as an agent with the aforementioned company. When questioned how she obtained my information, she could only answer that her company was partnered with multiple unions across the country. When asked what union provided my information to her company, she could not answer. During this conversation, I agreed to meet with ******* over Zoom to gather more information regarding how my personal information was obtained and why I am being contacted after clear communication that I did not want to be contacted again.

I spoke with an agent to purchased life insurance. 6 days later they took the money from my account for the following months premium payment. I called at the beginning of February to cancel the policy because I cannot afford it. That same day, Feb 4th, they took the money out again, only two weeks later. They have refused to send me the cancellation paperwork and refused to cancel it over the phone. I want my money back and I want the policy cancelled and I do not want any more money taken from my account. I feel like I was lied to and I am definitely being ignored to cancel it.
