      I requested a monthly statement in a balance in a paper format because I need to understand were my money going. I am elderly and I'm a veteran. I've service this country and I believe I deserve better. I would like to know my balance, but they refuse to send it in paper format. They will only send it in an email that disappear in *************************************************************** paid and to know my balance.

      It took me six months, more than 10 phone calls, and communication with various departments to finally get the cash value from my policy refunded.

      Doesn't even confirm approval before charging for the policy and then give a run around to get it canceled.

      Agents are ignorant and treat you horrible. Setting up dates for calls and then never call. Won't answer back messages. Total rip off. Would never again use or recommend this company to anyone. You can find better life insurance with just about anyone.RC ID

      I gave them a one star but would actually rate them a minus -5 star if I could. They are the worst insurance company I have ever been involved with. I had a guy sell me the policy for my youngest son through the mcgruff child thing. So forward years later I've been paying on this policy for years. When my ex husband asks me about our sons policy which really sketched me out. So I call the company to try and switch the main person to myself after finding the guy put it in my ex's name. I sent them divorce papers along with custody papers which granted me full sole custody due to his drug use. They informed me they couldn't do that without him signing it over, I was livid since it was coming out of my account every month since day one. Stopped payment and now I'm harassed by phone calls several times daily.

      Oh my goodness. Why are the calls nonstop? I recently told *** after an agent reached out that my policy was fine and I didn't want to change it. They said it was noted. Obviously not. I receive up to 10 calls a day at times, sometimes twice in a row by the same number, all from their agents. I gave had to go as far as blocking the numbers that call. Sometimes it's evenings and weekends they call. I even mentioned to one that a family member was in the hospital and I was spending the majority of my time at the hospital. They still had the audacity to call me. Really? This is infuriating as I am on the **** AND I told the office. No wonder clients cancel their policies with this company.

      We have been calling since November of 2024 to cancel mine and my husband's policies. Each time we call we are given a run-around. I have sent cancellation forms and after months we were finally able to get the policies "cancelled." I say "cancelled" because even now after we just called, we are told that our policy is in "suspension" and they have to get a supervisor of that department to take the policy out of suspension so our checks can be dispersed. Between both of our policies, we are owed around a cash value of $1000. We have been waiting on our checks and resolution since 2024! After the phone call we just had, we were told that 2 different supervisors from 2 different departments will be calling us back to resolve this ongoing problem. We have very little faith that we will ever get our cash value back. WORST life insurance company ever.

      I have to be honest I do not know how the people who wrote reviews here came by their information. Maybe they have selective hearing. The agent who helped me: 1) processed a signature ready Last Will and Testament for no cost, 2) a burial organizer with extensive resources to help my family, and he reviewed 3) VA Burial Benefits. He was courteous, concise, creative in the solutions presented and I actually had a better outcome by the end of our meeting than I thought I would get at the beginning. Example: I have people who I was going to leave off my will because they are not getting left anything. My representative explained why those individuals need to be explicitly listed in the will document with language stating that they are not getting anything. He explained that doing this would eliminate a potential legal challenge down the road once I'm gone. That special knowledge alone was worth the phone call. My experience was very positive.

      The most harassing agents I've ever dealt with. Each time you talk to them they tell you the premium went up a little, then sell you a tiny slice of a new policy. I was flabbergasted how many tiny policies I had, then canceled them all.

      **** M If you have a brain in your head PLEASE use it and never deal with this company. I am going through h*** with this company. They take money out of your account when they feel like it. NEVER NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT BIG TIME.
