      I have photo of where we did a meet online. ****** talked me through how to do that, Im not computer genius. I was interested in free ********** said he would send me them. Then he talked about ************************** said no interest. He said at your age you should do this for your family. I said they are fine. He got someone else to join the call & both were very insistent. ****** said its a good thing to do & if youre not happy you can cancel & get your money back. I remember how they both told me how much smarter I was than most seniors. Anyway I said Ill have a look at it but I dont think Ill want it. Then ****** wanted my banking info. I asked why and he said there has to be some amount of trust. He said you pay a small amount $25.00. If you dont take policy you get it back. So I did that. Next day I was at bank (I know some girls there) and I asked if someone took $25 out of my account. She checked and said only withdrawal is *****. So I told them about the conversion. They advised me cancel account & at that time I havent received any policy to review. The bank took care of that & I phoned ****** & told him I want my money back.. I said my account is closed so you will never get anymore. If I called using my phone number he would not answer but if I block my number he answers. I told him he was a thief & a liar & that I wasnt dropping this! At two different occasions ****** called me a stupid b**** & then told me to F*** Off. I was surprised anyone would talk to another human like that & wondered what company would allow such language? I have a new phone now so no longer have his messages but I have his phone number, aI dont know how to get it here without losing all this. Thank you!***********************

      $52.06, they are saying they just received it?  It was paid on February 8th 2023.  I checked my account today and its not in my account. That is my only settlement, I was lied to, cursed at & treated very poorly but I will have to let all that go to get my funds back.  That is all I want now.  ***********************

      OK they need to stop taking my money.  They took $ ***** in Feburary & today I notice they took $***** on October 12th/23.  Ive no idea if they took this monthly but were told never take funds from my bank back in February when they took the first $*****. These thieves need to be dealt with immediately.  Regards ***********************

      Draft dates 8/15/23 & 9/13/23.Charged me more than twice the amount of my life insurance premium. Upon email inquiry they told me the additional amount was for AD&D coverage that I never signed up for let alone authorized an auto-draft for. I've attached the email thread showing them asking me and me telling them it was not authorized and they charged me AGAIN. They're only open until 5pm CDT yet I called at 4:57 CDT and got a message that they were closed, saying I could leave a voicemail but the call disconnected, twice. This is fraud and obviously I can't get their help with it. I've also disputed the charges through my bank.

      We would like to thank ************** for reaching out to our office regarding this matter.  According to our records she was issued Whole Life policy ******** with an effective date of May 12, 2023. AD&D benefits were added to her policy based on information received from the agents office.  Based on the information provided by ************** that was done in error.  Our office has removed the coverage and refunded those premium to her bank account on September 19, 2023.

      I took out what I believed was an insurance policy to cover loss of income should I or my husband be hospitalized and life insurance. When I realized this was not what I was paying for, I went through all the proper steps to cancel the policies and even received confirmations that they were canceled. Then, this business turned around 2 months later and took more money from me without my authorization. They tweaked the amount they were charging me to get the deduction to go through my bank. When you call their office, the people are rude and argumentative. This is a company whose agents present themselves as serving the men and women who have served our country. The agent who sold me the policies told me it was only available to veterans and their families. What a scam!

      We would like to thank *************** for allowing us to respond.  American Income Life provides group accidental death and dismemberment benefits to members of several veteran groups.  Occasionally, veteran group members will choose to purchase additional insurance products from our Company, which appears to have occurred in this situation.   

      Our records show that our office received an email from **************** dated July 19, 2023 where she requested to cancel her coverage and provided only one of her policy numbers.  A cancellation form was sent to **************** to be completed and returned to our office for processing.  We show the completed form has been received and all policies are in the process of being cancelled as of her original request date of July 19, 2023.   

      We hope to have resolved this matter to her satisfaction.

      I had a zoom call with a sales agent named ****************, regarding insurance plans for death or hospitalizations. She stated officially that the policy covers me until death and that the premiums are locked and can never increase. She insissted that

      The business, his response was simply that the complaint is not a complaint

      My complaint remains as stated 
      -I was told that their policy covers me until death, but their policy legal stipulations are contradictory

      -I was told that my premiums are guaranteed for life and can never grow up, but the legal stipulations in the policy specifically state that premiums can go up.

      -The business is blatantly lying and misrepresenting the policy

      I am rejecting this response because:   I have never made a complaint or claim that I signed a policy.   The business is continuing to evade the complaint after 2 communications through the BBB.   There is no refund being requested.  This is a complaint with the BBB. 

      The complaint still remains as originally stated-

      The sales agent used 3 hours of my time and blatantly lied about 2 offerings of the policy, and attempted to get me to sign the policy without I formed consent and understanding.

      The business has not acknowledged this, attempted to address it, offer an explanation, attempt to appease having wasting 3 hours of my time, implement a policy change.  The business has not taken any accountability or attempted to resolve anything in any way, shape or form.

      As previously stated, an insurance application for ************ was not submitted and he does not have coverage with our Company.  If ************ is being charged for a premium from our Company please have him submit a policy number or a copy of his bank statement showing a premium bank draft from our Company.       I was a **** employee for ********************* agencies in MA. I had major health outline and had to take a leave. Before which I have multiple examples my "manager" ******************************* treated me different than the young skinny new girls, said on multiple occasions he wouldn't be helping anyone rolling to him until he was in the green, and I asked to switch to a different manager and was denied. He made me feel abused like I was asking for something above and beyond while I saw him gladly offer the same to those got skinny young females. As he asked them to put their bathing suits on and go to the pool at company events after they said no. I have texts of proof. Everyone I tried to talk it out with him I was threatened we needed to get the owner ***** involved and cut off and but asked you speak. The times if day I was told I could speak I would then be told it's my break time or I've been in since 6am not I don't have time the others it was call only time. I was in medical leave as I said and I tried to speak to the owner to come back and to finally be brave an speak what so many that had worked under him had felt and she just advised me of 6:05am being an inappropriate time and after refusing me medical paperwork months and weeks earlier told me there was no place for me there. I'm sorry we have a 7:30a Saturday call I didn't think 6am after working an inventory when I expect people to put their phone on DND to be an issue. When I have bills I need guaranteed money ml not questionable money just coming back. And when I finally wanted to speak to up against the abuse by a man, that's when I was told no we don't want to hear it. Just like they didn't want my medical proof and paperwork. Just said you're crazy get some help. I feel demeaned and mistreated. They only care about money. No one cared about my medical issue. Was used as an excuse. Then the CO owner who I request, ****, somehow the original owner's husband, congratulated me in 6mos with the company days later.

      I was sent in the mail in 06/06 /2015 American Income Life Insurance Company life and death benefits. Which I purchased.. This company tries to sell upgrades yearly. In 04/27/2022 , 1 of their customer service sales representative called asked me if I wanted to upgrade to new benefits for an additional $18.71 to my already policy which was $20.27 monthly I agreed . So in July ********** was called by another customer service representative to upgrade again that they had a hospital benefit for an additional $6.00 a month I found out then I had 2 policies on July ***** 2023 I found out had 2 life and death benefits I then called American Income Life Insurance Company and spoke to a customer service rep. ***** Ebony who explained they don't upgrade the policies. I than asked to speak to a manager who scoffed and laughed at me when I asked for a full refund of the second policy I asked to have it put towards the new benefits thai asked to cancel policy no cancel notice has been sent to my email I called again going on a week and a half ago and spoke to a supervisor who we found no cancellation form was sent she then told me she was going to send 1 I have been waiting a week and half no email cancellation form sent . I am requesting full reimbursement on both policies plus any living benefits I have incurred

      I have been randomly contacted by AIL recruiters that are scraping my information from somewhere. They always say I'd be a "great fit" for an extremely vague position, and that I need to attend a Zoom meeting "tomorrow morning" (always tomorrow morning, and always "the last window"). They're a 100% scam company that uses corrupt recruiting and business tactics to get people to work for free, or next to nothing. They were sued for it in 2021, lost, and had to pay over $5 million to agents that hadn't been compensated for training and work...yet they're still doing the same things today. I have been contacted at least 5 times in the last 9 months, and every time, I tell them to leave me alone, yet they persist. So, I'm filing this complaint, and then moving on to file reports with every relevant state level ******* AG, **** of ****** and every relevant state labor board. This business is a MLM scam masquerading as an insurance company, and they need to be SHUT DOWN and have criminal charges filed against every single manager or higher.

      I have been paying for whole life policy for 13 years with this company. I've been told to be taken off their call list and every few months I get calls for someone to come to my house to visit and update. I don't want random people at my home we are very private people. I'm tired of being harassed! I want to end my policy but they won't cancel!

      I have cancelled ALL my policies numerous times with various agents, over numerous phone calls and via mail, but continue to receive letters that I owe monthly payments and the company has borrowed against the policies with interest. I wish to resolve this before I contact an attorney. Thank-you

      We would like to thank ************ for allowing us to respond. Our records show that ******************* called our office on June 8, 2023, provided one policy number and stated he wished to cancel that coverage.  A form was sent to him to be completed, signed and returned to our office for processing.We show the fully completed cancellation form providing only that same policy number was received in our office and that policy was surrendered for its cash value on June 22, 2023.  A check representing the cash value was sent to ************ which we show cleared our bank account on July 10, 2023. 

      We show that the July 2023 draft for the remaining coverage in the house was returned unpaid by the ***** financial institution since a stop payment was placed on the draft.  All remaining policies were removed from bank draft and began billing the ***** directly to their home as the premiums became due.  Since premium payments were not received the premiums were paid from the accumulated cash value of each life policy in accordance with the nonforfeiture option of each contract.  

      ************ called our regarding the cancellation of the remaining policy and a cancellation form was sent  for the remaining policies. The completed form was received in our office on September 9, 2023 and all policies are in the process of being surrendered.  Since it is now our understanding that all policies were to have been cancelled in June of 2023,and in an effort to resolve this situation, we have reversed all the automatic premium loans and any accumulated interest from all policies and they are all being surrendered for their full cash value. 

      We hope to have resolved this matter for the *****.

      In 2017 AIL came to our house to up sell us a policy. We agreed to buy and accident / illness policy. It was described to us as " you go to the *** you get paid". We have had 4 different representatives: *********************, *******************, *********************** and ******************* all come to our house once a year to review our policy, and every review each said don't get rid of this policy because of you go to the ** for any reason you will get paid. If you go to the hospital you will get paid is always how this policy was described to us.On August 31st I tried to file a claim for my son back in January and my husband for a July incident. The home office then decides to tell me yes they have a policy for for accident/ illness but we only have the accident part. My husband and son were both hospitalized for illnesses. I have been so misrepresented by this company and their reps that I want all of my monthly premiums returned since the begining of 2017. I talked to ********************* a supervisor whom I cancelled my policy with and she said that when the policy was written we were to receive EOB that explained my benefits. No one ever told us the policy we were sold was just accident and not accident and illness. I have a policy number, but without correct explanation that policy number means nothing to the corresponding benefits except for what is described to me.

      We would like to thank the insured for reaching out to our office regarding this matter.  According to our records in 2017 the family purchased Accident policy ********, and life policies 14602716/15.  The policies were issued as applied for.  Pursuant to their request at application, the policies were mailed to their home address.  Each policy provides for an examination period to review the benefits provided.  If the policy(s) does not meet the needs of the insured, it can be returned within that period for a refund of premiums.  This request for refund comes outside that period, and premiums cannot be refunded.

      Our office received a request to cancel policies ********/16/15 and 17554200/01.  This has been done. Please let me know if our office can be of further assistance.
