Alliance Solicitor contacted one of our property locations saying that were we running low on toner and they were authorized from Canon to ship a new one. Neither was true. All of our printers are under contract. ***** was delivered and invoiced at twice the normal price, billed to the person that they had solicited. We received a call from a company that claimed to be affiliated with Advanced. They didn't ask if I'd like to order anything, but told me there was a change in price for our cartridges and since we were not previously notified, they had place an order for us and would honor the cheapest price. They asked me if I wanted to pay by credit card and I told them to send me an invoice, everything sounded legit and they told me we would get the package soon. Today 8/14/2023 we received the toner and it was the wrong one and I noticed the company that shipped it was ALLIANCE IMAGING SUPPLIES not the company we deal with. I called our company and they said they never called us and the we had probably being victims of a scam. Good thing I did not give them any credit card info.Business Response

Company falsely stated that they were in business with our copier lease agreement with BBE to a fill in office staff member and then automatically began sending invoices with toner. Our lease agreement provides toner for free and the office assistant did not understand so when the shipments came with an invoice she was sending payment. We contacted them today and stated that we intend to return and want a refund for fraud and they have only agreed to allow us to return the most recent shipment. This was never agreed to by our owners or anyone with authority at our office and therefore we expect a full refund.Business Response

We received a call from them at the end of last week (4/21) and they claimed to be affiliated with CDS/Xerox. They didn't ask if I'd like to order anything, but told me there was an order placed and they were ************** me know it was on its way, but shipping was delayed. I don't handle the orders for the toner, so I mistakenly assumed it was ordered on our behalf by the company we rent our machine from. I called them and they told me it was a scam. I attempted to call the company back to try and cancel, but the phone line seems to be disconnected? We received the delivery today along with an "invoice" that's labeled as a packing slip. My name is noted as the person who ordered it...when I didn't order from them. There's not even a price a price on the slip.Business Response

Alliance Imaging Supplies called and spoke to a newer employee claiming they were our supplier for toner and needed to verify if we are low. We then recieved a toner and and an invoice claiming a verbal P.O. (which we do not do) and an invoice for Ricoh toner and shipping. Just quantities and no total cost. We do not have an account with this company and all of our printing services are handled direct through a local supplier that ******** the printer from. This is clearly a phshing scam where they call initially gathering general company information, then follow up later on with more detailed info on which copier we are using.Business Response

This complaint is just like the others. This company goes by ********************************************** They use my name and say that I authorize shipment on our copier supplies. We have an agreement with someone else not ********************************************** They have sent us black and colored toner., maybe one is one that fits our machine but most do not. I was unaware that these items were being sent to our office and since I don't received ********* Ex Shipments, these items were also being accepted. When you try to call either company, you cannot reach anyone by phone. Simply Office Supply you get a ********************************** Imaging you get nothing. We keep receiving invoices. Up until today, our accounting department paid these invoices. Since the question was raised as who these people are, payment has been stopped. These items would be returned if we knew how. When they called. We didn't discuss the fact that we were billed for items that we didn't *********** accounting department paid the invoices unknowingly to the amount of $1,618.50. The items received aren't even items that can be used in our machines.
The numbers on the boxes seem correct, but when you open them, the cartridges don't fit. *********************** is out money to this business for something we didn't authorize & can't use. We have a contract with Proserve for all copier supplies we would not order from someone else. I also didn't mention the ridiculous shipping & handling charges on these invoices ($89.64 & *****- seriously). Somehow they got my name & said I gave authorization & put my name all over the invoices & packing slips. When "*************************" from "Alliance ***************** called, I mentioned how you can't reach them by phone or with their website. He had some excuses which didn't make sense. Their name & phone number is also blocked on caller ID so it doesn't show up on our system. If this company is legitimate, why doesn't it show up on our phone when they called? He recited the address, phone number and website that is on the invoice. Again, when you call the number, it rings once then its nothing. The website goes to Alliance Imaging which is PPE products. I can ****** any company's address and I can find them. I ****** their address & they are non-existant. We were billed for office products - specifically copier toner. When you try looking up their Tax ID- Nothing comes up. I still believe this is a ********* were taken. Others need to be aware of this so it doesn't happen to them. We do not accept this response & would appreciate to have our money back. It's great that they will no longer contact us in any way shape or form but it doesn't make up for the past and dragging my name down with it.

We were contacted by Alliance Imaging Supplies about toner. I was told it would be double what we paid last year because of Covid. They never sent me any toner, but are calling me and sending invoices. I don't even know what they are charging us for because the invoice doesn't have any items on it. Further more the address is in Mckinney TX (Which a look at google maps pulls up JC's Burger House) and the post mark is from SN Bernardino CA. Further more the tax id number used at the bottom of the invoice is for Palm Imaging Corp out of Florida.Business Response

Much like the other complaints I am reading here. This company seemed as if affiliated with my supplier of my copier and sent a toner that was still on a discounted rate, before the rates were going up. They were very attentive about the order and many different people have called me about the order all the way up to the bill being sent. On the back of the bill there is a statement about returns being paid in full within 90 days of ordering. Since calling them I have had courteous staff, but absolutely no resolution. I have been told I would receive an email return label and that I was placed on the do not ship list. I have not got a label. I called back and emailed them, only to then get an email that there was an attached return label... there was not. I am not sure if they are trying to run out their clock of 90 days, but we will not be paying for this toner one way or another and only wish to return it.Business Response
