The salesman came to estimate in the uniform of Precision and confirmed the repair crew would be their employees, not a subcontractor. However, when the repair guys came, they did not wear uniforms and drove a truck without any logos. I suspect Precision subcontracted this project. The main issue is the entire work process was not up to standard.1.When Precisions guys arrived, they asked me if I had a ladder. I told them they should have brought a ladder and should not expect the customer to prepare for them. Then, they told me they had a ladder in their truck and finally took it from their truck. Precisions workers were too lazy to take a ladder out of their truck.2.The guy in a blue and white plaid shirt started to work from downstairs, and the other two guys worked from upstairs. The guy downstairs had a hard time removing the old balances and again and again broke the new balances that he just installed. This guy is obviously not qualified for this easy job and requires a lot of training. He may be a new employee, but your customers properties are not for your new employees to practice on.3.The two guys came downstairs to do the job for him. They asked the downstairs guy to put back the two upstairs blinds. This guy had a hard time to put back the two blinds, so he hit the blinds so hard to try to push the blinds in. I told him to stop and showed him the metal bracket tabs of one blind were not lifted and the other blind was still wrapped around by the lift cords. I asked him not to touch the blinds and decided to do it myself. I paid Precision to send professionals to properly repair the window balances, but Precision sent someone who could do nothing but to damage my properties. So many of the valance clips were broken and the painting around the windows was chipped badly due to their rough work. If Precisions workers were better at their skills and more careful about their work process, the damage would have been much less.

We replaced many broken balances throughout the home to repair windows that were previously not functioning and because of this were functioning as they should when we left. Unfortunately it is not a simple process to replace old damaged balances on non-functioning window sashes and as such many of our competitors do not offer this service at all anymore. We try to help our customers as much as possible to keep their costs in check on any window project which is why we offer full service including window repair services, when possible, and also do glass only as well as full frame window replacements. Regarding window treatments. We specify in all estimates that window treatments need to be removed prior to our technicians arriving to the home so that we have clear access to the work area. In the case where they are not removed before we get there our technicians will do their best to work around them or if they have to remove them to complete the work try to do their best not to damage anything. Blinds, shades, curtains, any type of window treatment are always in various stages of aging and in almost every case blinds with plastic hardware and clips are sunbaked and very brittle. The clips will break easily when removing them which is what happened in this case and why we always want the homeowner to remove them for us prior to us starting any work.We were able to reach ************ and take care of any issues she had including replacement of the broken plastic valance clips at no charge. We also replaced some damaged screens she had that were not part of the work we were contracted to do and at no charge as well. We always strive to do whatever we can to make our customers happy and have been doing so for more than 30 years now.
