On February 1, 2024, I dropped my car off at Toliver to address the issue I was having with my car jerking. I spoke to ***************************** when I dropped my car off. I also asked that while they were under the hood could they determine why my windshield sprayer was not working. ****** told me it would be one $175 diagnostic fee to which I agreed. She called the next day and said they could not diagnose anything and they wanted an additional $800 to run another diagnostic fee. I declined and said I would come get my car. When I arrived to get my car she charged me $380 for two diagnostic fees. I had an obligation so I had no choice but to pay to get my car. I later talked to my father and he spoke with the service manager ***************************. **** said that I was wrongfully charged the additional $175 and that it should have been ONE charge in the first place. I took my car back to get the windshield wipers fixed for free because they charged me a diagnostic fee for opening the hood and seeing the fluid line disconnected (something anyone could have seen, which they wanted to charge me $400 for). **** told me I would receive a check for $175 for the wrongfully charged fee within a week of February 7. It has been 3 weeks and no one has given an update. I have attempted calling and so has my father. No one has given me any answers. It is unacceptable and resembles theft. At this point from the sheer frustration of having to deal with this for almost a month I would like a full refund. Especially considering the correct $175 diagnostic fee did not repair anything! I took my car to another repair shop and they fixed everything in under 2 hours for $200. Horrible customer and scam.
