      My experience, starting in 2019, has been a disaster. They never took ownership of my timeshare and tried to tell me I did not submit the paperwork. I had an email from them saying they had received the paperwork. When I complained to my new timeshare company, MROP, they said to contact GC Getaways. I am now exercising my sixth-year option to turn my ownership back to MROP at no cost. My guess is that they will try to deny the fact.
      GC Getaways said they had turned my case over to a law firm, but I arranged a buyout from my old timeshare for $2000. That is in addition to the funds paid for the MROP timeshare, which we could never use. When we tried to use the MROP timeshare we were not able to get the site we wanted and it seemed that we had to spend more money to join other groups to make a reservation.

      This is a bogus company, and in my opinion should be prosecuted in Federal Court! They took our $10,000 a year ago, and we haven't heard anything from them...nor have they even contacted our time share to dissolve anything. They get away with it because we all feel so foolish when we get ripped off, and fail to report it. I'm reconsidering this and would love for others to join us. I wouldn't give them even one star if this could get posted without it.

      I met with this company’s agents in March 2022 and signed up for what seemed to be a good deal. I paid 8000 dollars and completed the requested paperwork for them to get me out of my timeshare and never received any follow up. As of Jan 2023, none of their numbers or emails work. I haven’t heard from anyone with this so-called company since they accidentally emailed me someone else’s information in October 2022.

      We signed up two years ago and got no response good or bad. Tried to call this morning OUT OF SERVICE we lost $10,000 . AWhat can I do?

      We signed on over a year ago. No response from them No follow up. Has cost us $$$ and maintenance fees on top waiting. My lawyer says it looks like a extortion ring opporation from what he sees from these reviews.

      I subscribed to g c getaways, 2019, to relieve me from the timeshares. I never could get a status on my account. They stated to me, my records had been transferred to a law firm. After attempting to question the law firm, I am told, they never received any information concerning my account, from GC getaways. Also the law firm said g c getaways filed bankruptcy and closed.

      We were given a nice meal and since we had already tried another company to get rid of our timeshare, my sister and I were very leary but guaranteed, even included in our sign contract, this company would get our timeshare out of our name within 18 months or they will pay the maintenance fees until they did. We were told if we got them the documents quickly the could get this done in a year. Since we had already been through this my sister had every document they needed the day they took our money. We got a letter about 7 or 8 months later saying our account was turned over to some attorney group. It's now 2 years later and time for the second maintenance fees to be paid. We've contacted the attorney and they finally decided to work on our account then. But Tiffany, in the Transfer Department with G C Getaway, has responded 2 times, once to say the company would never agree to pay our fees (we emailed the signed legal contract that says this to her) and to tell us to not contact the attorneys. She refuses to respond to our emails. We have an almost $2,000 maintenance bill due in a few weeks and we are being shunned. I continue to email every few weeks but nothing. Please do not trust the scammers at their friendly free lunch. They are so sweet and convincing. They are liars. Even when they put something in their signed supposedly legal contracts, their transfer department will not adhere to the contract.

      Please run as fast as you can from this bunch ,they are a totally rip off,,they told me they was going to get me out of my two timeshares!!! I paid them all cash going into this,Around 6 to 8000 they got me for maybe more!!They turned the getting you out of the timeshares to a lawyer firm,,and they called me todayand told me to get me out was going to cost me 7000 and something!!I told that lawyer he was crazy if he thought I was going to pay 7000 more,I told him to send my information back to them ,and tell them they are nothing but a scam rip off company !!!When I got in this they told me all this they would do,getting into this was supposed to be payment for getting you out!!But they totally lied about everything!The man that talked to me was completely out of this company after he sold me mine!!!He even followed me to my house and got a check!!They are a totally rip off company,they do not do what they say,I lost all my money I paid to this bunch then they thought I was stupid enough to pay 7000 more to get me out ,they are totally out of their mind!!!!Please do not be deceived by this bunch they are scam artists!!!!!
