While I was at work my wife went out to contact *****, but somehow she got the address for Rising S. She signed a contract that had fine print stating that once the payment had been made there were no refunds, and I was upset, not with her (she was scammed) but at either losing $24,000 or having Rising S install the bunker. They sent a crew out and they were using an excavator bucket to chip at the limestone. I asked for a hydraulic hammer to get done so the cement could be poured after the shelter was dropped in, but the manager refused to authorize the hydraulic hammer and told them to keep using the excavator bucket. Meanwhile (1st day) the cement truck had to leave so the cement wouldn't set inside the truck. The contract stated that they would pay for the cement, but since it was dumped, we had to pay EXTRA for the cement. Then they left the limestone debris in our backyard and killed our grass. They refused to haul it away. We had to pay for another contractor to haul it away. By now we were out another $7500 plus. They installed the water tank, 1000-gallon. They used the excavator to pick it up for installation and the excavator put holes in the tank, which I found later. As it was slowly leaking into the ground, the water filtration system inside the bunker was leaking too. We found about 1/2 inch of water had flooded the shelter. They used carpet inside so we had to strip the carpet to get to the water and remove it. Then we found out that the gray water tank had no stop valve to prevent water from evaporating out into the shelter and we found mold on the interior walls. I bought a mold kit (another $200 or so on top of the $7500). I called them about the leaking filters and they refused to come out. However they did come back out and patch the water tank. Then we found out they didn't anchor the water tank and it floated up with the spring rains. Another $750 for a new (smaller) tank.
