    *What Seven Star Appliance committed to me: Order part/call me when part in/come to my home and repair microwave...Note: Company told me the $59 deposit I paid on 11-27-21 would be included in the final bill. ALSO, this company was contracted with American Home Shield Pro-Connect (who I initially contacted)-as their agreed representative company for my zip code-to provide the pricing agreed to as well as providing the timely repair of my microwave oven door glass. IN ADDITION, American Home Shield PC informed me that my service call payment on 11-27-21 should have been made to American Home Shield Pro-Connect. HOWEVER, the Seven Star tech told me the $59 service call fee/deposit had to be made to Seven Star. I recently contacted American Home Shield PC and was told that Seven Star is no longer contracted with them, and that since my check on 11-27-21 was made to Seven Star, there was nothing they could do to help me. Had my check been made to American Home Shield PC, they would gladly apply my $59 deposit to another agreed to company. Seven Star new full well of this policy; at the time of writing my check, I was not aware.
    *Nature of Dispute: I have telephoned Seven Star the first of every month since 11-27-21 to inquire of my pending repair. The owner, who initially gave me a 4-6 week repair window, has told every time that my part order was on backorder and would be arriving sometime in the near future. Finally, this last phone call on 11-01-22, the owner informed me the part order would not be coming in, and there would be no repair.
    *Company Resolution with Me?: I simply asked the owner, since no agreed to repair is forthcoming, would she reimburse my $59 deposit? She said, "No, it was similar to a doctor visit copay...you don't get that back." My response..."but a doctor provides a service-good or bad!" Her reply...still "No refund."

    Yes we are aware that your part is on back order. We ordered from the factory and we are waiting on them to send it. We do service and repairs, we don't make parts or keep back order parts on hand.
