How this is even legal is beyond me. Terms and service if you close your account prior to the 3 month mark the money is not refundable and they’re charging you an additional maintenance fee of 19.99 to close the account? Seems like a civil law suit to me and it may be reviewed. After spending 34.99 and 19.99 the inmate was transferred before they could make a call. So 100$ in the pocket of a company that gives you the wrong website to cancel your account?

This System is a Scam. Scammers using a legitimate reason to give banking card number. I didn't give my number and no one my family knows was in a city jail. Scam

This company charged my debit card a total of $126.85 for 3 inmate calls each call lasting less than 3 minutes. I called the phone number provided by their automated line to cancel the account. After I chose the option to cancel I checked my account balance which stated that I had a credit balance of $49.38. The recording stated that I could request that refund on their website www.tips.net and they will refund in 2 months. I can not find their website at all. This company is a complete scam! How this has been allowed to happen and continue to happen according to all of the reviews/complaints I read is absolutely maddening! Something needs to be done now to shut them down and make the company refund all of the funds that they have stolen from people.

Company makes it so difficult to process a refund. I wasn't aware of the multiple charges made the same day as it was explained that 29.95 and 19.99 would be charged to activate the account. And requiring a 90 day waiting period to receive a refund is ridiculous.

How is this business still authorized to do business. Like others, I was called and told I had to set up an account with a deposit to receive collect calls but after doing so, we never used the account because the family member arrested was released. I was told I would need to cancel if no longer needing the account but that it would be easy to do so and never told a refund would take 90 days nor that there would be multiple charges on the same day for a service never used. Requesting a refund is not easy because the website they provide is not valid. I was charged 29.95 and 19.99 in the same day while never receiving a collect call once the account was set up. Customer service is also non existing. What a way to prey on people experiencing tough situations when there is no other service choices available to receive a collect call. Yes you can say no to setting up an account but then that is saying no to talking to someone that may need you and has no other choices themselves. I'd like my refund and this business banned. There has got to be other companies wanting to business that can replace them.

We were told we had to buy this to be able to talk collect. We ended up not needing to use it. When we called to cancel it they said we had to go to their website and fill out an email to them in order to get our money back. it has cost us two payments. One payment of $19.99 and an immediate 2nd of $29.99 on 12/18/22. There is NO way and NO where to collect our refund like they said there was. This is a major RAQUET.
