I made an online hotel reservation for ***********/Hilton for a stay in May. Unknowingly, I was redirected to a third-party website (************************************************). After checking, I discovered that this website is a known perpetrator of scam activity. I cancelled the reservation but the change remains on my credit card. Efforts to dispute the change via Discover have been futile. I tried using the contact number for the business but all I get is a robot voice.

On 3/21/25 I went to what I thought was a Hilton Reservation desk website. I called the number on the site and when the reservation desk answered I confirmed with them that they were a Hilton reservation line. I was told that the hotel I wanted was unavailable but that they could help with another property. They booked a room for me at the Sonesta Select hotel. They told me that the hotel has 4.4 stars on Trip advisor and the rate was $160. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was under construction with dirt, debris and open wires hanging all over the hotel. This was not disclosed by the booking agent. The hotel was subpar and definitely not 4.4 stars. Our TV also didn't function. Upton checking out, I asked for a receipt direct from the hotel. The bill was for $119. I was charged $160 from the 3rd party booking company. The booking company not only lied about being a Hilton reservation desk, but also charged me $40 for booking a room. Someone needs to investigate the website information on the internet to ensure that customers don't get redirected to third party booking companies. Hotel Values is a scam.

Hotel ************************** had me book week by week in the event upon arrival I did not want to stay at that hotel for whatever reasons, I could get a partial refund. Upon arrival to the address listed on my Hotel bookings, the manager at the location of the building said this booking and the name of this hotel does-not exist here. The manager went on to say that they are not a hotel and they don't provide hotel services and reffered me to go across the street to check my bookings elsewhere. Before leaving I called ************************************************ and let the manager of that building location speak to ************************************************ to let them know verbally this hotel does not exist at this location. That day I asked for a full refund of all 4 weeks I booked, you presented me with a hotel that does not exist, you swiped my ***** bank card and took my money now I want it all back now. I ended having to do a walk-in booking at another hotel and spend even more money which shorted my trip funds in my ***** bank that was intended personal care items for my mother myself and my autistic 7yr old daughter a trip we took to attend a church event ************************** for healing ministries. we utilized Hotel Values online to book our reservation at ******************************************. there is a $145.78 taxes and recovery charges service fee to incur hotel expenses such as cleaning, taxes and "resort fee". This is fraudulent and misleading, as the hotel Paris charges a resort fee of ***** per night plus any misc. I talked to ***** Hotel billing, and they stated they are unsure why this agency would charge me twice when they charge me for Resort, and misc. When i attempted to contact their customer service line, it rings and hangs up. There are no email contacts. They seem a scam.

I just book 2 rooms online for $113 per night and was never given a full detail of what the total charges was. The website online asked for my infor and credit card infor. Once I hit confirm reservation it said the confirmation was sent in my email. Only to find it on spam but the charges had extra fees of $124.40 and making my total charges of $351.60 which when I realized I was not given the total charges. I then wanted to cancel but it said theres a cancellation fee of $131.78 per room and of I continue to I would get $88 back. This is total a scam as I just reserved it an hour ago and the total was not disclosed before I can confirm this. Please help bring justice to all the people this company has scammed. They should be able to give full details of the charges which was not done prior. Im requesting a full refund with no fees as this was not disclosed before. Also my credit card company also shows other fees charge $11.99 which im not sure what for.

I tried to change it or get a refund and they refused. They charged my credit card the entire amount and cancelled the reservation. When I tried to dispute it they said "we have contacted our booking partner 3 times and haven't received a response."Predatory practices!!!!

I was booking 3 nights at Marriott hotel through the ************ website and during booking, I was unknowingly redirected to another website to complete the payment portion of the booking. When I received the confirmation email, the charge was $300 more than I had agreed to pay, included a reservation number (that ******** did not recognize when I called them), and was from Hotel Values, not Marriott. When I called them, the ******** had no record of the reservation. After attempting 3 times to speak to someone at Hotel Values that same day (2/25/2025) I was told that I could not get a refund despite the charge being more than I agreed to pay. After more back and forth between the hotel, Marriott's billing department, and Hotel Values I finally got Hotel Values to agree to pursue a one-time waiver to refund the amount in full. I received an email a few days later from Hotel Values saying they were happy to honor the waiver/provide a full refund and were just waiting for "the hotel partner" to agree.I then received an email from Hotel Values' parent company PPS Priceline saying the last email had sent in error and the hotel partner denied the waiver so I was not going to get a refund. I called Hotel Values and asked for clarification and they told me they talked to someone at the hotel named ***** who denied the refund. I called the hotel and spoke to someone who has worked at the hotel for over 20 years and confirmed that there was no one by the name of ***** at the hotel. I also spoke with another person in Marriott's billing department who said they had no record of being contacted by Hotel Values or PPS Priceline.Hotel Values' practices are unacceptable, untruthful, and fraudulent. They are preying on people who use on-line booking and taking advantage of people's finances.

I made a reservation online, thinking I was on the hotels website. Once I confirmed I was then charged double the room rate. I thought it was a hold like Ive seen other hotels do before, it gets credited back. After my stay I did not see any credits, I actually saw additional charges so I started trying to contact the hotel. They confirmed the additional charges was them but not the hotel chrage. The additional charges would disappear soon. I asked why she mentioned the hotel charge was not them and she said I paid through a third party. I started looking for my emails regarding my reservation and sure enough the emails were from ************************************************ not the hotel chain. I called the phone numbers on my email confirmation and the phone number associated with the charge on my bank account. It's a vicious loop that gets you nowhere. Some of the options on the recording advise you to call the hotel directly. I am always very careful because I know scammers are everywhere. I honestly thought I was on the hotel website or I would have called them to book my stay. I would never knowingly pay resort prices for a standard hotel room. I am lost and have no idea how to contact ************************************************ to try and get my money back. I am a single woman and I work hard for my pay. Having this happen is very disheartening and unfair. Something should be done to lazy people like this who get away with stealing from people. They continue doing it because they do not get into trouble. They get rich off innocent people and their hard earned money. I woud like a refund for the extra charges of $145.89 that was not part of my hotel room.
