Zips car wash keeps taking money out of my account, I dont have an account with them I first spoke with a representative back in December 2024, because I noticed 2 charges from them, at that time the guy stated it was for a vehicle that I have no idea who it belongs too, so he escalated the call, I got an email from ******* stating they was refunding me those 2 months, so I let them know that I would be combing through all my bank statements from 2024, upon doing that they indeed took money off my card for a couple months back to back then skip a month then back taking it out. But top off all this after sending that email about the additional months, they took money off my card fraudulent this month as well, today as a matter of fact 1/29/2025 not even 30 days from our last email and correspondence about this matter they reimburse some and kept the rest then took some more. I purchased a monthly wash membership a year ago. Everything has been fine until the last few weeks when I began being turned away for service. I was told I owed money even though I had proof the money has been taken out. Recently youve charged my credit card for two months service but still deny me access at the wash. Ive paid 90$ for two months of service and Im being denied service. Ive messaged your tech support, site staff and ******** staff. My husband used this car wash in Nov. Dec., we had a charge come up on our bank account. But, he had not been there. He went to the car wash and they reversed the charge and said they had fired someone that had done this, they also gave him several free car washes for his inconvenience. He went to use one of the free car washes and they wouldnt honor them. A few days ago, Jan 4th, there was another charge but this time it was for more. He went to the car wash and they said, they couldnt reverse the charge and the issue would have to go through corporate. We went to the bank, to file a dispute for the charge and to cancel our debt card. It infuriates me, that they saved our debt card information, to commit this fraud. And then lied about firing an employee, that had done this. We didnt cancel our debt card, because we thought the issue was resolved.Business Response

As I was going through wash top roller popped back glass on drivers side of truck. I told attendant at the time. He asked me to fill out in house claim and I did. A few days later I received an email stating that because my incident was isolated and/or an accessory they wouldn't repair damage.Business Response

I cancelled by Zips Carwash account in August 2024. It was close to the billing date, so I was told that if I was charged to call and they would reverse the charge and was provided a reference number of *******. I have since been charged 3 times, August 2024 ($35), September 2024 ($35) and November 2024 ($45). I have submitted the transactions for all of the charges, however was only refunded for the November payment of $45. When I spoke with customer service via telephone, the *** told me that she could see that I called in back in August and that they account should have been closed. She verified my license plate, carwash window stick and requested that I send her the charges (which I did). I contacted the company again and told them that there were still $70 ($35 x2) in unauthorized charges. On December 24th, I was told that someone would contact me and allow them 48 hours to respond. I have gotten no response from the company. I have attached the emails between myself and Zips customer service.Business Response

Last October (2023) I went for a carwash at Zips #**, they charged me $10. Since then I have been charged $45 per month. I have tried to call these people, and end up with a phone center where most of the operators speak a different language. I did not sign up for this,I do not have an account ,I do not have a window sticker with a number on it, I did not ask for this, I did not want this and I am now out a total of $630. Somebody tell me how to stop this! I will never step foot or tire in another Zips car wash. I would like a refund but when I get the call center they say I do not have an account.Business Response

I finally received an email from the company. After several emails back and forth ,and a copy of a form with my signature, I have decided to not press the issue any further. I am now out approximately $850 still. but I was able to stop the charges from happening anymore. They had decided to not refund any charges and a court battle would not be profitable for me. I would caution any person that goes to this car wash to; not to let them swipe your card, use cash, Sign nothing. I still believe this company and their membership programs are; at the very least; not completely honest.Business Response

I attended to cancel my subscription and provided all my information like my account number ************ and other details. But I was told I need my license plate number but I no longer have the car I used to sign up for the subscription. On 9/20/2024,Drove my **** through Zip Car Wash in ******, ********During the$18 dollar wash, their equipment tore the driver's side mirror off.Attendant took pictures and filed a claim. Received an email back from Zip Car Wash stating the claim was denied because of a posted sign.Summary-Apparently their equipment isn't adjusted or calibrated properly.Their equipment damaged my vehicle and they refuse to make it right.Cost to repair the damage at Jasper **** dealer - $250.00 for the mirror and $135.00 hr. labor charge.Business Response

Visited location for car wash in Saturday September 7th and did a quick run through of the car wash. Went back in Tuesday September 10th to do another run through. Upon returning home I noticed some damage on the top middle section of my truck. In Wednesday September 11th I went back to the wash to show them the damage and talk about how to resolve. They submitted a damage claim right away for me. The damage claim was denied just 12 hours later stating that no other cars were damaged that day so it wasnt their wash that did it. I responded asking to review the video footage that shows my vehicle was damaged prior to entering the wash that morning. They have been completely unresponsive. I have attached screenshots of the conversation through their ticketing system. The quote for the repair is $500. I have been a paying monthly member for about 2 years. The outcome requested is 1, review the videos showing that damage was there before entering the wash. 2, pay for damages caused by wash if video evidence does show no damage prior to entering the wash. When I was in the office filing the damage claim I saw the many cameras that were all around the facility that should clearly show if the damage was caused by the wash or not. Thank you for your assistance and hope to get this resolved.
