This business called, saying they needed to extend my computer service with ** instructed me to send a check out to them for $1,100.00. This company is scamming people. DO NOT send them money. It is the same person pretending to be another person. When asked to speak to a supervisor, they supposedly transfer me to a supervisor, but it's the same person.

This company is a complete SCAM! ****** says to only get support from the Help option while in QuickBooks but if you can't open your QB and you ****** QuickBooks support, you get this company's number. They convince you they are Technical support for Intuit, gain access to your computer and extort money from you to gain access to your QuickBooks! They had also used the "85% corrupt file' ploy on me. They are professional, computer suave, organized and very persuasive. I was able to access my program again and thought everything was ok although I was very upset at having to pay nearly $2k to get the fix. A month later they called me (saying they were my Intuit representative) to say that my backups were not working and needed access to my system to fix it. I agreed but as soon as she (this person was rather rude and pushy) started in with stuff about needing to contact her finance department to see how much it would cost, I realized this whole thing was a SCAM and hung up! I went to ****** online and see there are many other people who have fallen for it also. They need to be STOPPED! ****** knows about them but has failed to stop their illegal practices!

I had a technical problem doing my intuit payroll and sending the data for payment. Called QB (or so I thought) and wound up with this "company". Seems like a total scam. High pressure to resolve problem where data is "corrupt". High price tag, but "we'll give you 50% off for being a long time QB user". They take control of your computer to reinstall QB and do repairs. Several months later, I'm getting similar high pressure sales tactics and that they need my credit card # to "extend my license". This time, ****** told me not to fall for it.

watch out for these people. they tell you they are part of intuit, when in fact they are not. The will charge you heavily for service. complete scam!!!! I am more disappointed in myself for I am usually diligent in checking this stuff, but was in a bind and need quick service. Let my guard down and got scammed. Funny how these companies like ****** and such censor people post for disinformation, but allow scam companies to still be accessible on their platforms.

I agree with 3 other customers I fell for the scam March 22, 2023 called my landline,********************* extn: ***36 ******* on **** my data was 85% corrupt they wiped my computer to original setting reinstalled QB 2022 over 3 hours worked with still some hiccups but i was pressured to sign doc agreement that day. He condensed my file.who knows what they did on my company *************** or and computer. I just filed a complaint with my story. 71 yrs old Dec 12, 2023 called again cell# this time same stuff QB WAS NOT updating correctly. A man named *******, there is a ***** person also. heavy accent sounded like from *****, convincing issues and finally here it comes ******* TODAY!! that sounds familar. I told him i am going to quit QB with all the corruption going on I could not make a decision then he started to bargain lowering and spacing payments he wanted me to commit to be my account manager, he said he would fix issues at no charge directed me to ******************* *********** ext ***38 he uninstalled QB wanted to update 2023 i said no he installed 2022. my son heard my conversation and called Quickbooks directly, ***** ******, tell your mother to Hang up immediately. well those guys have been calling me ever since. I guess they are accessing CAMP monitoring updates etc and call people direct scamming. I suggested to QB to add on the HELP list that drops down to verify callers fraud somehow to call QB support. It might deter this scam.******* if you are reading this complaint Please get a legitmate job and stop scaming i think you have talent to help people.

This company shows all the earmarks of being a SCAM.According to INTUIT, they are not an official support service for QuickBooks. They charged me $1.750 to supposedly get my QuickBooks Desktop working again. That is TWICE the amount they usually charge - their reasoning was that I have 2 companies on my system. In the end, I believe that all they did was uninstall the software and re-install it again. One year later they phoned me to claim that my QuickBooks had not been updated for a long time and wanted access to my computer again. Their "evidence" (?) that they were officially INTUIT was that they were able to quote my my name and credit card number (which they obviously had from last year. AT which tie they claimed I had errors in my database and they needed to do the repairs again. As a "selling point" they offered to install a newer edition for free.I contacted INTUIT directly this time and they assisted with a simple fix.Call INTUIT directly before doing anything with this company.

I must agree with ********'s review. I'm am still extremely confused about what happened. I definitely was having issues with my QuickBooks software -- which was repaired by whoever I was talking to. But when I called QB today for support, I was told I did not have a support plan with them. They did inform me that they often use outside contractors, but they did not approve this. Fortunately, the $1,077 I paid was on a credit card and the credit card company is being very helpful and understanding; it looks like I will receive a refund. I still don't understand how this happened and I feel so very foolish. Honestly, I have a funny feeling that the scam may involve some QB technicians. But as ******* said, stay far, far away.

This business preys on small companies that use Quick Books. We had some difficulty one day and called them after going to the internet looking for QB support. this company had a very similar logo and look. We called and they scared ** by telling ** that we were moments away from losing all our data but that they could fix the problem. In the course of the conversation, they offered a three-year contract which on top of support they would update our yearly subscription to QB. We asked for a copy of the contract and a receipt, and we never got one. the only thing we have gotten in writing directly from them is the total amount we paid. Shortly thereafter we got a notice from QB that we owed for our yearly subscription update. We called QB and explained that we were subscribing to their support contractors and that we had already paid three years' worth of updates. QB explained that they don't have any such arrangement with any outside contractors. We have been trying to get a full refund but have gotten nothing but a constant runaround. The credit card company needs written proof of the dispute and sadly Data Service Solutions has never provided anything in writing. They claim they don't have any access to email. Really? Stay far, far away from these rip-off artists.
