I had dental work performed and, in the process, I was told that I needed to pay a certain amount of money up front and then my insurance would cover the rest. It turns out that my insurance covered much more than originally thought and therefore I overpaid out of my pocket nearly $1000.00. Since discovering this overpayment over 90 days ago I have been requesting a refund and have been given multiple excuses with no resolution and, no refund.Initial Complaint

On Sept. 24, 2024, I was billed $1580 as prepayment for dental work. Unbeknownst to me at that time, the actual amount should have been $1285. per Perfect Teeth's Billing Statement. Perfect Teeth did not advise me of this until six months later, when I received a credit of $295.00 after a routine six month appointment. On March 27, 2025, I had that routine appointment and then scheduled another dental service for April 7, 2025. I requested a printout for that upcoming appointment which amounted to a total of $750, and was advised by the receptionist that I had $101 credit which would decrease the amount due on April 7 to $650. After the procedure on April 7, I was advised by the receptionist that the total due was $761. I asked about the credit I had, she asked the office manager, "****" who advised me that "mistakes happen," and that the estimate given to me on March 27 was from 2023. I replied that I didn't know why Perfect Teeth would give a patient an estimate that was outdated two weeks before a service then expect the patient to pay the difference. I spoke to the dentist that did my dental work about this, **** P." who said that "corporate" would have to agree to any credits or adjustment to the bill. I paid $659. on April 7. I received a bill from Perfect Teeth on April 25, 2025 with a total balance due of $102. I called Perfect Teeth and was advised that "****" was out of the office the last two weeks, and would be out for another and no one else could help me. I called "Corporate," which is "Brident" and was transferred to the wrong extension several times, so I left a message for whatever supervisor could help me (it didn't sound as if any staff I talked to knew who that would be.)I have been overcharged twice in six months by Perfect Teeth, which feels like deceptive business practices and am not confident that will change. I would like the $102 to be deleted as the remaining balance. Thank youInitial Complaint

Primary Concern: Paid Services ********************* in Distress On February 14th, Dr. ****** ****** provided a temporary crown. As of March 18th, he has yet to receive his permanent crown. He has had two separate appointments where he was sent home without treatment, as the office claimed they "couldnt find the tooth"with no clear communication on next steps. Today he was informed that a new crown would need to be ordered, which would take another week. However, due to their scheduling constraints, his next available appointment wouldnt be until the week of April 7th, meaning he will have been wearing a temporary crown for nearly two monthsfar exceeding the typical 1-3 weeks. This extended delay has caused significant discomfort, limiting his ability to eat on one side due to pain and sensitivity. Despite multiple attempts to seek resolution, there has been a complete lack of urgency, transparency, and proactive communication. My husband has had to drive every effort to get updates, while I, ironically, receive persistent calls to schedule an appointment for myself. Given that the crown was paid for in advance, it raises concerns that this lack of urgency may be tied to the fact that full payment has already been collected. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. We are requesting immediate action to expedite the completion of his treatment and to ensure that no other patients experience this level of distress. Please advise on how we can expedite this and get accountability from this dental officeInitial Complaint

I recently had extensive dental work done at Perfect Teeth (*****************************). Invoices from that work indicated that Perfect Teeth had overcharged me by $320. I contacted ******* from the billing **** to investigate. A week later, after not hearing back, I went to Perfect teeth to discuss the matter in person. ******* indicated that she was still working on the problem. One week later (October 8, 2024) ******* confirmed that I had been overcharged by $320. She stated it would take 2-3 weeks for my **** card to be credited back the $320. One month later the overcharge had not been credited back to my **** card. I called Perfect Teeth again and this time spoke with the office manager Trixy. ***** confirmed that I had been overcharged, and agreed to credit the $320 to my **** account in the upcoming days. That same week I went to Perfect Teeth to pick up an occlusal guard that had been ordered a few weeks prior. When I went to pick it up I was told that the charge for that device would be $900. The co-pay schedule from my dental insurance (Sun Life) clearly states that my cost for that guard is $120. Perfect Teeth agreed to charge me a mere $450 for the $120 guard (a $330 overcharge). To date Perfect Teeth has overcharged me a total of $650. It has now been more than 3 months since I was told that the $320 overcharge would be credited back to my **** account. ********************** has failed to fulfill that promise. The disposition of the occlusal guard overcharge has yet to be determined. Other Yelp complaints about this Perfect Teeth location indicate that I am not the first patient to be denied a refund after being overcharged. In summary, the dental providers at Perfect Teeth on **************** are highly skilled professionals who are passionate about their work. The administrative team appears to be incompetent, and devoid of any modicum of integrity. At this juncture I am unsure as to whether this is a dental office or a criminal enterprise.Initial Complaint

On July 2, 2024, I paid $650 for an immediate partial denture to be made. When I finally had the appointment to have the teeth pulled almost three months later, on September 23, I discovered that the partial was made for the wrong teeth, so they took an x-ray to confirm their mistake, which was the only thing that happened at my appointment in their office that day. I was charged for the x-ray that day even though I had paid for their annual discount plan, so it should have been free. I told the front desk person, ******, that I did not trust that office anymore, and I would have to think about whether I would be continuing to use their services. I told her that I would call when I had made a decision and that I would schedule an appointment or request a refund at that time.I requested a refund on October 17, 2024, and I was told that it could take up to 8 weeks. I have called regularly during the past month. No one from the office has ever called me or contacted me about the status of my refund. I went in to the office on January 16, to speak with the manager, Ande, and she acted like she knew nothing about this, which indicates that they had been lying to me every time that I called, and they had taken no action to provide a refund. Ande told me that she would call me by the end of the day. She did not. Then I called her on January 21, and she told me that she would call me back that day, and she did not. This office made a mistake, and I am paying for it. They have never apologized, and they have wasted so many hours of my time dealing with this. I want my money back. Please help.Initial Complaint

I, **** ******, was referred to the ****************** office of Perfect teeth for an appointment on 08/24/2023 for a level 4 cleaning. I arrived earlier than scheduled and proceeded to wait for 2 hours for my 10:00am appointment to commence. My dental needs were assessed and while waiting for the cleaning appointment to begin, I was presented with $3,500.00 estimate for dental work to be done. I was expected to sign off on this estimate, which I did not. I advised that the treatment plan / estimate would have to be scaled back and proceeded to remove non-urgent items. After being told that my insurance was paying half of the $650.00 estimate. The hygienist came back at approximately 12:15pm, spent about 30 minutes cleaning my teeth and gums and sent me off with a fluoride rinse and toothpaste. I was then told at the time of checkout and reappointment that my total for today was $637.00, due immediately. I objected, indicating that I understood from the dental tech that presented me the estimate my insurance was responsible for at least half of that amount and signed the estimate under those provisions. The Front desk person indicated that yes, my insurance was paying for half and my half was the remainder, $637.00. I advised that I could only pay for half of the amount, and did so ($318.00). I later cancelled my reappointment with them. After two weeks, I followed up with *****, my dental insurance provider. I called prefect teeth, and asked why a claim had not been sent to Cigna. They indicated that they had indeed sent it, but it must have gotten lost. I again called Cigna. They have not received any claims from perfect teeth. I asked them how I could submit a claim to them myself and they instructed me on how to do this. I have sent the claim to Cigna for payment, but am now being harassed by Perfect Teeth for the remainder of my balance due, an amount that should have been covered by my insurance if they were honest and truthful in their billing practice.Initial Complaint

My son went in for the ortho at Perfect Teeth for Kids for ortho work. I paid in full up front with my previous insurance for his treatment. There was no change to his ortho work, only the fact he was not seen for 6 months because they didn't have an ortho to help him progress with his treatment. I ended up consulting with another ortho and moved him over, where they had to re-do his ortho treatment because it was terrible. I ended having to pay up front for more treatment. Perfect Teeth had the audacity to try and send my a bill for $1,008.79 claiming insurance didn't pay for it, when NO TREATMENT CHANGED OR PROGRESSED and I PAID IN FULL UP FRONT! They are sending us to collections after I have called multiple time to headquarters and Brident and no one has ever called me back or followed up on this situation. In fact, I feel like they should be paying us that amount not us paying for terrible service and treatment.Initial Complaint

In November 2021 I experienced excruciating and debilitating tooth pain that led to the removal of said tooth at Perfect Teeth. I only had partial ******** at the time and clearly communicated that I had $0 to pay, and was unsure if ******** would cover the whole cost for the **** ***** The doctor himself offered pro **** work due to my level of pain. 3 years later, and I am receiving a $353 bill for those services. They refuse to send it to collections so I can pay it off at a lower amount (I can not and have never been able to pay this bill AND THEY KNEW THAT). They refuse to cease and desist communication because "they are not debt collectors." Which is illegal. All in all, I believe they wrongfully charged me and fed me lies as a business AND a doctor, and are now wrongfully billing and harassing me causing me mental strain. ***** on these "providers." They don't care about anything but $$$.Initial Complaint

I came in originally for two chipped front teeth, I had no pain prior to these visits. they convinced me that I needed two crowns along with a lot more treatment. They ended up doing two more crowns and all the teeth they worked on are currently in pain. One ended up being so painful I had to get a root canal from a separate endodontist. I called them and let them know while I was there that all they did was create pain in my mouth and the only resolution they had for me was to schedule my next visit with a different dental assistant. I spent close to 4000 dollars and all they did was create pain in my mouth.
