      I obtained a unsolicited loan check for $905 through the mail from sun loan in *******, ********. It said the terms of the loan was to have the loan paid back in 6 equal payments over 6 months. I paid a $160 payment as soon as I received a bill. I decided to go ahead and pay off the loan. I sent them a cashier's check for the original amount borrowed. Two days later I received a call from a frustrated Sun Loan employee 44who said I still owed them $41. They said they would send me an updated statement of amount owed. The new statement arrived showing $193 was now owed. Obviously a predatory lender. Borrower beware!

      The female who claims to be the manager at this location is so bulgar! Has no patience and starts going off saying all these offensive bad words in spanish. Who are we supposed to speak with when we ask for the manager and it is still her. Consider a lost customer thanks to you exceptional employee/Manager Rio Grande City Location

      Sent unsolicited loan check in the mail. I'd never heard of this company before and I want nothing to do with them. I shredded the check and I seriously hope they don't pull anything sketchy. It looks like this is a fly-by-night predatory company preying on seniors and people who don't know any better.Shame on them, I hope you go bankrupt.

      I am writing to commend your employee, ****, at the Espanola branch.He went above and beyond facilitating my loan.He was extremely patient and professional!Exemplified courtesy and expertise during the complicated process.Definitely recognize him in his personnel file and keep up the perfect customer service.******* also assisted and was so helpful.***********************

      Borrowed money from them and not even a few days later they are calling me charging me off already, bad company to get a loan from and charge off is a lot

      They number pop up with someone else name other than the company. I've became aware that people are complaining about other people's names pop up on their phone and they haven't done anything about it yet. ********* the branch manager is very unprofessional argumentative don't listen to the person who is doing business with. She's loud talk over you. You should never argue with your customer but she does. I wouldn't recommend this company they also harassed your references you put down and tell them what you owe and I didn't give them permission to tell my business to. I repeatedly asked them not to and they continued to do so. They don't give you a chance to return their calls. They call you back to back.

      On December 19, 2023, ****************** took out a loan for $1,219 at the Sun Loan Bloomington, IL office, which called for a total payback of $101.66 a month for 12 months. She made four full payments prior to refinancing the loan on June 7, 2024.
      The District Manager reviewed the account with the ********************** Branch Manager regarding ****************** concern about the caller ID displaying another companys name when they called her. We reached out to our technical support team to correct the telephone caller ID and keep it from occurring again going forward. The District Manager addressed ****************** concern with the Branch Managers behavior as she noted in her complaint. The District Manager notated the account so the Branch staff will no longer call ****************** account references going forward. The Branch staff will only contact ***************** going forward.
      If ****************** has any questions, she can contact *********************, Compliance Manager at ************.

      Do not expect to do any online activity with this company, outside of applying for a loan. I created an account, applied for, and received a three figure loan. Logged into my account four days later to pay it off and theres no active loans listed. Submitted a Help ticket, and guess what, they only respond Mon-Fri. Its Saturday. This gives them a few more days for my load to accrue interest. Not sure if this is illegal or just immoral practices. Either way, once I do get this loan paid off, Ill never reach out to these people again.

      On April 1, 2024, ************************ took out a loan on the Sunloan.com website for $792, which called for a total payback of $99 a month for 8 months.
      On April 6, 2024, ************************ attempted to access his loan on the Sunloan.com website but he could not locate it, and he sent a request to customer support for assistance.
      On April 8, 2024, the customer service department telephoned ************************ but he hung up on them. They emailed him instructions to assist him,but he did not respond. The issue was escalated for further technical review for a resolution. They removed Mr. *********** email address from the database and asked that he re-register online to view his account.
      On April 8, 2024, ************************ called the branch office and successfully paid for his account in full. On April 9, 2024, the District Manager attempted to reach ************************ to help him re-register his email address but ************************ did not return his call.
      We extend our apologies for the difficulties ************************ experienced and want to assure him that we take his complaint seriously. If *********************** would like to discuss this further, he can contact the District Manager or the Compliance Manager, *********************, directly at **************.
