      My braces were removed Aug of this year, my provider was still in the process of making payments but Smiley wanted payment in full before removing. I paid out of pocket Aug 14th and Smiley stated I should contact my carrier for reimbursement mind you this was in Aug. after speaking with my provider on October 4th they stated they were still paying Smiley and had been since Aug we are in October and Smiley has never contacted me on reimbursement. Even the provider was shocked after speaking with them and has since filed a claim. Hopefully the extra $ was worth their reputation because this is unprofessionalism at its finest.

      We took my daughter to get her braces removed today. She had her last appointment ***** and we were told that we need to come back in one month to get them removed and she was ready. We showed up to the appointment and they said that they would not remove them because there was a balance from the insurance. We have paid everything on our end at the very beginning 2 years ago. The office manager at the ********************* stated that we should have called our insurance to make sure that they paid.... but they haven't missed a payment, she stated that our insurance pays quarterly. That we are to wait for 6 more months in order for the insurance to pay the balance and then they will remove the braces. They are a joke! We were told by the office manager today ***** that if we pay the balance of $300 that the insurance needs to pay at the next quarter they will reimburse us. I want to ensure that they uphold what they are telling customers such as myself. We will no longer do business with Smiley Dental ever. They are the worst company and the people at the location are so rude. The technicians and dentist have been nice and professional this entire time. The front desk and office staff are rude and do not tell the truth. I have had to reschedule appointments multiple times because they would schedule an ortho appointment on a day that the ortho dentist is not on. I have had the absolute worst experience with this location and business. I do not recommend anyone taking their children or family to Smiley Dental.
