Belmares is a family owned and operated business. Be incredibly careful how you interact with these people. If I could leave a negative star I would. Immediately the nephew that does clerical portion made an error with the amount of the original quote for the security and pet deposit. I had to correct his ********* was about $239 off from the original quote. It took us about 2 months to get an inside door for our master bedroom. From what I gathered the plumber, painter, and anyone else regarding maintenance are all high school buddies that vacation together. Any maintenance call, email, concerns would come with a $100 service fee. Discovering that there was a huge hole in the attic space from the kitchen. When I pointed it out to a maintenance man his reply was they work on a very fixed income. I was left with that problem to deal with. It became a huge problem when dogs broke a window resulting in a $75 window repair. A friend of ours thats been a real estate agent for 20 years upon telling her this her jaw hit the floor. Ive never been so gaslighted and bullied. Worst experience ever in the 2 years of my life staying in a rental. Lived in a older home with another home on the property. The maintenance man moved his daughter into the backyard house on the property. I was tricked into paying hers and her boyfriends utility bills. I am now on a payment plan with CPS to pay off a $1,500 bill. We had neighbors that lived in that house before. We all signed a contract holding everyone legally responsible for paying these bills four ways. When I brought up this previous tenant and paperwork this office manager couldnt recall this alleged paperwork. Of course I didnt have it and neither did the previous neighbor. Another neighbor of mine (a professor at ****************** and single mother) lived in that home for a year prior to us living there. She told me not only did they do the same thing to her they told her she got cheap rent and thats how things are.
