      Been trying to get water damage that was done on the drywall that occurred on my ceiling from a solar panel install that was done on my roof, called multiple times and provided screen shots of the representative that stated they would resolve and take care of the issue, in the result of that happening my couch and floor was damaged. They stated they would take care of it, had the roof replaced and reached back out to them and they keep not returning my calls and emails, there is a lady who has been the only person I have been able to get a hold of who relays the info to them but they have yet to call me back.

      Ive had two systems installed by CAM, both were excellent experiences. Recently my inverter went out, they explained the company that sold the inverters sold a bad product, and they were swamped with requests. Promised to get to me as quickly as they could. Even short staffed they were able to fix in a reasonable time. Communication was great, service excellent

      Had my inverter recently go out 7/2024. ***** at CamSolar and the *********** office worked with me every step of the way and kept me up to date even when flooded with requests. In prior years I've had my inverter go out but did not have to wait long at all compared to before this time around. Additionally ***** informed me that the new inverter has a wifi capability and did not force the upcharged option to upgrade the 5g antenna to communicate with the app that was optional and I had wanted. Very honest installer and company; it was much appreciated in these current times. The recent experience I had does not appear to match up with the reviews Ive seen online. Theyre working hard to restore their online reputation and hope they have continued success in the coming months along with many happy customers.

      Horrible customer service. It's all about the sale and once that is secured, the surprises start and you're stuck with ZERO customer service. If you're lucky to speak to a human about the only credible information you will get is that you called CAM Solar.I have had three interactions with the local office here in ***********. Always someone different but consistent zero customer service. My recent issue started in May. We noticed through the app that our panels (all 17 of them) were producing zero energy. We called CAM June 10th and told them about our issue. The app has limited troubleshooting options, they ran a test on there end (according to them) and was told my inverter was not working and needed to be replaced. They mentioned it was a warranty covered item and it should not cost anything. Initially when I asked the estimated time for repair, I was given a vague "when it comes in" response. They did generate a case reference number on June 10th and was told the inverter needed to be ordered and at that time they claimed they were about 3 weeks booked. I understood that it would be about a month before I saw any viable movement. They stated on their email that they would reach out with status updates, that was a lie. Since then, I have reached out to CAM local office in *********** to try and get any updates. I have yet to speak to a human. I get a voice-mail stating they are busy, leave a detailed message (which I do) and still waiting on a response/update. As of this writing, ZERO activity from CAM. When we initially inquired about the possibility of becoming customers, quite tge opposite experience. Apparently sales is a priority over existing customers. Additionally, I would think CAM would monitor their customers to advise them of any failures on the system. If we had not checked on the app, we would not have known we had a problem. CPS advises on outages, problems, etc, why not CAM? I am letting anyone know, stay away from CAM. Check BBB complaints

      ********************** called in on June 10th to let us know that his inverter was not working. We called SolarEdge to get a replacement due the hardware errors in the inverter on the same day, which we did let *********************** know. We have just received their replacement part from SolarEdge and have them in the queue with the techs to be swapped.

      Cam solar is responsible for my roof damage, said it would be 189 service charge if at fault..I had the insurance company and 3rd party inspect the roof..both said cam solar is responsible for the damages..cam solarncomes out and says squirrels are responsible...must be stupid cause if that was the case there would be alot of damaged roofs in town...the messed with the wrong guy..I know all about roofing and restoration...like wow squirrels?..these guys thunk we were born yesterday, now I have requested insurance info to *** them but they won't return calls...they will be ***d no matter what...warranty means nothing to them...u give veteran owned businesses a bad reputation..you should be shut down and and broke soon.

      The customer called in for a roof leak and we did send one of our techs out to evaluate. When the tech arrived onsite he found a squirrel nesting under the panels which he did take a picture of and he found several areas where there were p*** on the roof. He also took picture of the damage from the squirrels chewing on the roof. He did try to repair the area that was leaking for the homeowner with a flashing but the damaged area was much larger than the aluminum flashing could fix. He did let the homeowner know this at the time and we did send a report with all the pictures included.

      CAM Solar is feeling more and more like a scam. Same as other reviewers say, they have the worst customer support. They never call back. My inverter is no longer working which means neither are my panels. I have 40 panels doing nothing on my roof. I have never felt so cheated in my life. Stay away from CAM solar. Hopefully there can be a class action lawsuit against them in the near future. Owner claims to be honsest and run a legitimate business, but I am not so sure about that.

      BUYER BEWARE! You may get good service when installing a new system, but good luck getting your system serviced when you need help!I have a large solar array that was installed by cam solar on my house in 2019. My inverter is bad, and although I thought I would get good service for warranty work, I am not having any luck getting my inverter replaced. It's been about 3 weeks since my last contact with the company. There is no direct way to contact cam solar either, since the phone number you call leads you directly to an at home receptionist who works for many companies and only takes your information but can't help you any more than that. Even those people are sympathizing with me not getting any service.Please avoid at all costs! There are many other beneficial options out there. Talk with a builder in your town who can give you a referral to a better company!

      For the third summer in a row, come on here we go again, this make every summer since install was completed that our inverter is having communication issues which means I not only have to pay for the solar panels at $459 monthly but also the electricity at an average of $400 plus monthly. Steer clear if you see a CamSolar salesman coming your way for the paint a pretty picture when they are selling the system, but then they drop the ball when it comes to customer service. I wake up like I am having a horrible nightmare and I am its called CamSolar. Now they have an answering service handling their calls, imagine that, they dont even have an office to answer. I called two weeks ago and left a message with their supposed answering service and have yet to receive a callback from camsolar themselves. What really ***** is this is the third year in a row an inverter goes down at peak season when we should be producing the most energy to help cover the cost of panels and installation. I hope to reach as many people who are looking into going Solar, if I had to do it all ver again well lets just say NO I would not which is pretty sad cause Im sure there are some good solar companies out there just not CamSolar.

      My solar panels, which are under warranty, have not been working for the past month. I live in *********** and have called the *********** area code phone number probably 5 or 6 times in the past several weeks. Every time someone answers but they live in another state. They will promise to connect me with someone local and say I will hear back in ***** hours. I never hear back from anyone. I'm extremely disappointed in this lack of customer service.

      My inverter was out for almost two months. I'd try and call but can never get through to anyone. I'd leave messages with no return call. I also e-mailed them and they are not responding. I just want to get reimbursed for the days my solar wasn't working. I'll never recommend this company
