I was pulled over a few days ago by a Tx Trooper who inform me that my vehicle was not registered. I told him it was because I went a repeatable establishment that took my money & gave me a receipt. I gave him the registration information that Texas Tag Title gave me, he said this information has a different person, etc. on it & the establishment did it wrong. I was given a citation no fault of my own. The next day I went back to Texas Tag & Title to correct the matter & was if I wanted to get in corrected I had to pay again, I showed ********** there paperwork but to her it didnt matter that they made the original mistake. She have me a number to call & I did, the attendant said she would look into the matter after 2 days she called back to say they will refund 50% of that I paid. I explained that I wanted 100% of my money back because I did not benefit from my vehicle being registered properly the first time. Not only that what would have happened if I was out of state & this same situation would have occurred elsewhere, what it be impounded or me taken to jail. This company need to have there operating license taken away from them ****. So, does the Cortezs have all of my personal info. HIPPA Violations. This is what I have. On Monday 17 March 2025 I went to the Texas Tag & Title website to check the requirements for title and licensing an out of state truck in Texas. I was specifically looking for information for military members who have recently moved here as a duty assignment. The Texas Tag & Title website states under the "New to Texas" section that you need to get your vehicle inspected, then schedule a virtual title clerk appointment then head to one of their locations to complete the transaction. When I called to schedule my virtual title clerk appointment, I was charged $126.00. I asked the woman on the phone if this was a normal fee I would pay at the drive up location, ************ fee, and she said yes. I asked again if this was a fee that covered all the "service" fee associated with using Texas Tag & Title. She said other than the State fees I would not pay anything else. When I went to the location to get my vehicle licensed, I was told that I did not need to use the virtual title clerk service. It was then that I understood that I had paid $126, for me to send my three documents for review, but that it had no bearing on the actual appointment. I felt that is was dishonest and that the website implied that it was a required step. I called twice to get a refund for a service that I didn't ask for or need and was told that Texas Tag & Title never give refunds. I believe this is fraud and I want the company to give me my money back.

08/10/2024 I went online to renew my registration unbeknownst to me that it wasnt allowed and the title/registration has been flagged. I asked for a refund but they said they couldnt process one due to how far back it was. The lady I spoke with told me to have the owner renew the registration which was already done so I then paid another $100 for this to be done come to find out its not allowed either and was told I couldnt get a refund for that either because its considered fraud even though their employer advised me to do that as well. I never got what I paid for therefore I should receive a refund yet theyre being difficult and basically stealing my money.

I had an appointment scheduled for 12/13/24 at 2:00pm for a title clerk to reach out to me regarding my out of state plates to transfer to Texas. I paid 126 dollars for the appointment at the Texas Tag and Title *** ****** location in **************, **. I contacted the business since I never received a call. They claim they called 2 times. I never received a call or a voicemail from this business. I spoke to a person ********* and she said that I had to pay another 126 dollars since I missed my appointment. I then talked to a manager and she was said she was there when the original title clerk ******* tried to call me. These people are scammers and never called me. There number is ************. I attached my call history for the day from my ATT history not my phone history.

One vehicle was registered correctly, however the other vehicle they messed up on and said it would be corrected the next day and have told us every day they would correct it to issue us ********** and correct registration, however they have still failed to do so. We cannot drive our vehicle until this is correct

      Good afternoon,

I am writing you in regards to a customer complaint placed by ***************************. ********************** and her husband were both customers of ours and processed two transactions with our company. When they initially visited, there was an error with one out of the two transactions that resulted in a lack of new Texas plates. This was brought to our attention by the customer. We communicated with the customer and let them know that we would have to contact the Bexar ***************** for next steps on fixing this error. We had to wait for the next week when county was open (due to their business hours of Monday through Friday). Once contacted, they had to obtain next steps from several different parties. Once we received next steps, we communicated with the customer and let them know when we would be able to fix this problem. We experienced further delay when multiple members of our team contracted COVID-19. We were sure to verbally communicate this with our customers. The same day that my manager was back in office, we provided the customer with an updated day when this issue would be resolved and planned a time fro pick up. This is has since been resolved and we have attempted to reach out to the customer, requesting they retract this complaint considering the circumstances.

      Thank you for your time,

      ********************
