This Centric Fiber internet goes down a lot! This is impacting my livelihood. This is not right for them to charge me For unlimited service and not provide me with unlimited internet connectivity. This company is terrible. Outages happen MONTHLY if not biweekly and they dont answer the phone or even acknowledge outage til hours later. It is currently 8:44pm. My wifi has been out since 6:23 and everytime i call before getting sent to voicemail it says no outages have been reported. Of course none are being reported when yall dont answer the phone ????????Initial Complaint

Service was very poor. Causing issues with work. They do not allow you to cancel service online or via email... They make you call in so they can try to make you stay. They charged my account for services that were not rendered due to me switching carriers.Initial Complaint

I have had Centric Fiber service for my internet provider and it has not been great since day one. The past three weeks it has been nothing but a problem. They keep changing my IP address and it to one not even close to my location which makes it impossible to use my TV streaming. I am continually on the phone with my streaming provider to get it to work and update my home location. This has been a daily occurrence the past three weeks. Contacted Centric to be told they are working on it. I have cancelled my service with Centric. They charged my credit card on Dec. 20, 2024 and I canceled on Dec. 31, 2024 after having the service since Aug.of 2024 and the service just gettin worse and worse. When cancelling I was informed that my service would remain on until January 20, 2025 and they would not issue a refund. This is nonsense. I gave them every chance to fix the problem to no avail and changed to another company. I should be given a refund for what I have paid for and will not be using.Initial Complaint

Centric fiber delivers internet services to my community. We have been plagued by outages, with notification of outages not sent until after, usually by 1-2 hours after the outages have began. There is usually not a timeline to resolve the outage, and the company provides us with little detail. Working from home, these random, unexpected, and lengthy outages impact ability to work and provide from family. Trying to reach out to the provider via phone and email. Via phone on 12/17/24 I was unable to connect with a single person. Email from 12/17 has gone unresponded to. There is no proration or credit given to those impacted, and we are left paying for a service that is unreliable and down.

We have been living in our rental since September 2022 and because the neighborhood we’re in is a new development there were no options for wifi except Centric Fiber. They have been unreliable and almost impossible to get ahold of! There are several outages that have happened over the year and a half we’ve been here and they all take hours to fix. And communication is terrible. I work from home so this is beyond frustrating and have never received a credit to my account for this terrible service. I would have never signed up with Centric Fiber but it was quite literally the only choice we had. This is my job so not being able to work is detrimental to my livelihood and my family’s. I’m not sure how they are still in business as all the reviews I’ve read online state they are terrible. I’m very frustrated as I’m experiencing an outage right now and not able to work and not able to get ahold of anyone at Centric Fiber either. I left a message and don’t have high expectations for a call back. We spend too much for us to have such low quality wifi. I would like to be reimbursed for such unreliable internet and for the hours lost from working.Initial Complaint

I am losing a lot of money. Centric Fiber goes down quite often. I tried using my hotspot on my Iphone. Sometimes it works but sometimes it does not. I see clients all over *****. I work strictly from home and I provide a highly confidential service. I cannot be in a public place and cannot have anyone around me while connecting with my clients. I could not connect with my clients through my hotspot for nearly 15 minutes. By the time I connected, my clients had to leave due their time constraints for today. I just lost out on $70.00. There have been several times that I have lost money due to the frequent internet failures. I spoke with the customer service manager and she is offering me less than $10 off my next bill. That is not even 1/7th of what I would have earned from my 5:00 pm client today. Unfortunately, we are stuck with this lousy and inefficient service. I wanted to speak with someone in the corporate office. I was told by the young lady that there is no one else to speak to other than her. This is definitely a MONOPOLOY. I was told by the sales manager today that she is the head person and there is no one above her role. She reminded me that when I moved into this community, I was told that I was stuck with centric fiber. Well, I was not told to expect frequent outages. I was not told to expect to lose ***** dollars per client when the internet is down. My name is **** and I live in ***********, **** Texas *****. My number is ************. The young lady that I spoke with today had a very cavalier and nonchalant attitude about the amount of money that I have lost, since we moved here at the end of July 2023. The complaint I have is since moving into the one90 frankford apartments we were forced to use their Internet provider which is Centric Fiber. Since moving we have had at least 5 different power outages. The outages varied in length but this most recent one as of 9/27 has left me without power going on almost 72 hours with no internet connection. I have called on numerous occasions and each time was told its an outside issue and someone would come out and fix it. I have spent over $40 a month for this internet and cannot be without a service I paid for. This is exceptionally putrid in terms of service. I never agreed to auto pay. I was told at time of purchase that the bill will be added to my gas bill which was not true. I talked to manager *****. She was rude and not understanding at all. I asked her to send me the documents that state I gave permission for them to sign me up for auto pay. She told me NO. This place is false advertising. I have been a customer with ********************** for about 6months. I know you are a start up..but your customer service has fallen to below Par. I contacted you guys on 8.8 because I was in a job interview and the service was horrible one of the requirements is good internet service. The service cut off during my interview Not only was it horrible it was embarrassing.Called you up and you were suppose to take care of within ******** it was something that needs to be done outside.I agreed and ask if you could call when it was complete as I would be out of town.I was told that is not your normal procedure, however you could handle that request. I called up today on 8/12 and was advised that this order had not been complete. No one had reached out to tell me that it wasn't complete. I spoke to customer service and I was very irate because they didn't do what they said so I asked for a supervisor and was told three supervisors were available at 4:10 p.m. central Time but they were all walking into a meeting and no one could assist me. That infuriated me so I called your Corporate Offices down in ******* to try to get some assistance. I did get ***** who was a customer service manager to assist in solving the issue and getting an actual physical person out here which I was told we didn't need Thursday. ***** was awesome. End of the day and she scheduled an appointment for 8/13 and I do appreciate her assistance However as I told her I'm still filing the complaint due to the fact that I need to know where I stand as a customer. Is retaining customers important for your company? I really would like somebody in your Corporate Offices to follow up with me about your customer service. You are a startup company and for me **** and ******* are options. I desire the same customer service that you give when your sales team is trying to sign a person up for your product. If you can offer that please let me know and I can take my business to one of your competitors.Looking to the reply.
