Payment to account made on July 9, 2024 in the amount of $56.57 was made to Waste Connections and they keeping sending me pmt due notices after I have contacted them multiple times and sent them proof of payment three times now, which they have acknowledged that they received it from my email ********************* and they still will not correct my account. They are now threatening to send the account to collections.....I have worked very hard to have a clean credit report which is why I always pay my bills, especially one of this amount. I should not have to pay a bill twice, especially with current hardships, just to satisfy their error of possibly posting my payment to another account. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
They tried contacting me during work hours one (1) time and I could not answer because I was at work. by the time I get off work, they are closed. I have attached the copy of my bank statement with the hi-lighted pmt posting to my account. I have spoken with the bank about this and they said the proof of payment is in the bank statement provided.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.
I have contacted my bank and they said that as the bank statement reflects, the payment was sent to them electronically on July 9th. I do not know what else I need to dispute with them since it clearly shows that the payment was made. The ones disputing having received it is Waste Connections. The bank did their job correctly by paying it, whether the waste company posted it to another account is not our fault. From what I can see, I requested bill be paid and the bank did just that.

Since the 13th of September my trash has not been picked up. The trash has been set out each time the night before for Friday pickup. Each week I have called to report missed pickup. Each time they have provided no resolution to why all these weeks have been missed. I called to confirm why it's past the recovery time and with no pick up and I was told it will be another again recovery that I have to wait another ***** hrs . They have told me there is no way to talk to the driver. Yesterday I reached out to them again and they told me they submitted another request and recovery would now be ***** hrs. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they told me it will take ***** hrs for him to call back it is past this time and they have sent another request. We have paid our bill till the end of this month and service has not been rendered.Business Response

I paid for a years worth of trash pick up service on 1/10/24 in the amount of $361.45. I went with Waste Connection since they pick up more than one container even though they were more expensive. On July 1st they changed that policy to only pick up one container so I called to cancel. Having been a long term customer she offered me a $58 discount which was left as a credit on my account. The new policy was not working for me so I did cancel on 8/15. They picked up their waste container and owed me a refund of 4.5 months of service. I pay $30.12 per month so should have received a refund of $135.54. They sent me a check for $9.79. When I called to state they did not send my correct amount they told me I was charged $100 for not returning my trash can. I put it out the day they told me to and they picked it up. This is the wordy company to deal with. They bait and switch their offerings and then lie about their service. With the original payment of $361.45-$58.41-$9.79 they still owe me $77.13.Initial Complaint

My quarterly rate has been consistently increasing, 100% in the last two years. My recent statement is $331. My next door neighbor is paying $93.66 for the exact same service for the last 4yrs. I am ****** off! Their customer service agent tried the cost of business is increasing bs, until I mentioned my neighbors bills. Im still waiting for a manager to call me. This file has to do with waste connections. I had best waste since 2018 and never missed a pick up. Now they are best waste. On August 19th I was scheduled for my trash to be picked up but the driver never picked it up. Everyone else on my street was picked up. So I called and they said they would tell the driver to go back. He never showed up. So I called Tuesday the 20th and they said 36 to 48 and someone would come out and pick it up. On the 21st I called back to speak to a supervisor and they said one will call me. No one ever did. So I had to pay 150 bucks for a 3rd party person to come up trash. On the 26th which is their scheduled run they got my trash. I called on the 27th to cancel service and told them I put a review in with the Bbb and my phone started blowing up with supervisors. She canceled my service and o said nobody even cared all the dogs and cats were scattering the trash. Needless to say they are the only trash company in my area. I called back to get service restored but sine I did a bbb claim she will not accept my application. So now there is no one else that services my area. I just wanted a credit or them pay the 150 bucks that I had to pay cause they missed me and then lied about it for 6 days.Initial Complaint

My trash pick up service was supposed to begin on 06/04/2024, but my can never arrived. When I called to complain and inquire when I will be receiving a can, they are never able to give me an estimate. They just tell me to place The bags curbside the night before removal.Being forced to store a week's worth of garbage without a proper container is causing severe inconvenience. Waste Connections missed my trash service on Monday. I called Tuesday and they said they would be out Wednesday or Thursday. It is now the end of the day on Thursday and they still havent picked up the trash that I pay for every week. I called and they said they would pick up the trash Friday. I put out my Trash and Recycling on Wednesday for Thursday morning pickup. The failed to pick up either. So I called on Friday and I was told they would address their error within 24 hours. On Friday they picked up the recycling and failed to pick up the trash (which has a big "Trash" sign on it). When I called them again, they told me they wouldn't be back out until Monday. In May I cancelled my trash collection service with company. Their final bill has discrepancies, charging me for 4 pickups when there were only 2. I moved into a new house over a month ago and have been trying to get E L ****** to retrieve their trash bins ever since. The previous owners used E L ****** trash services but cancelled those services before moving out and arranged for the bins to be removed, but their attempts were unsuccessful. That was back in April of 2024. I have been them every week and am continually told that I am on a list for bin pickup, and that THIS Friday will be the day, and to just be patient. But every week I bring their barrels to the curb, and every week no one comes to get them. I would just like someone from E L ****** to pick up their barrels since I never wanted them in the first place.
