      Extra Space DOUBLED my monthly fee after three months due to "market conditions". Complete bait and switch. Lure you in with a low monthly price and then smack you with double the rate.

      Extra Space storage is a rip off. They came in the area and buy all the competitors so they can **** up the prices. My unit price has doubled since they took over. I understand inflation but double the price??? Come on. Very bad business practices. Buyer beware. This is my second rate increase and with no notice. They sent it to a previous address but for some reason all other mail has found it's way to me but not the letter about rate increases. They give a line of BS on how they make an effort to let people know but yet they have my number, email address and I get text alerts about billing and recieved not by any of those measures. Buyer beware!!!!! Price gouging and monopoly at it's best.

      Extra Space I want to be compensated for the mice and my belongings being totally eaten. I have reached out, I'm waiting for for your urgent responses. I'm sure you guys are aware for when it's time to pay rent it's such a quick response but as soon as a customer (faithful one) has a issue there is no one to help assist.???

      I’ve been using life storage for almost 4 years and not only have the prices increased, the customer service is terrible. There is no understanding, and they treat customers as if they are nothing. The woman at my local location is not only abrasive, but unprofessional in such a manner that she actually hung up on me. The prices have continuously increased over the years, and I would not recommend this chain corporation as a place to keep your storage.

      Manager #596 Janae W******* is short tempered, rude, and unable to handle simple requests like legal name changes. Paid for a climate controlled unit, but temperatures were always high. No moving van available. On last visit, I told Janae I wouldn’t rent anymore with life storage and she replied “Great, can’t wait!” A week later sends a letter stating I have 5 days to move my belongings. Terrible all around.

      I have been a customer of ******************** for 5 years and today I have a very unprofessional and appalling encounter with the assistant manager in my facility. I contacted her due to a few that was placed on my account and wanted to resolve the issue. She was very rude and condescending. I told her I would be contacting corporate and she proceeded to say that if I called corporate my contract would just be reviewed and most likely modified, I told her that she was basically threatening to raise my fee because I told her I would be contacting corporate office. I would like someone from corporate office to contact me resolve my concern please.

      The folks at Life Storage on South Memorial Parkway in Huntsville are great to work with. We had a need for a climate controlled unit for several month while my mother moved into a retirement community apartment from a larger condominium on short notice and the flexibility and convenience of this Life Storage location was really appreciated by my sister, brother and I during an otherwise stressful move. Thank you again for all your help Life Storage. We will definitely recommend this option to anyone we meet.

      Life Storage is truly the worst business I have ever had the extreme misfortune of using. Everything about using their facility has been a nightmare from start to finish. Despite confirming my move-in date and being assured someone would be there the facility was closed. After hours of calling, I got into the building only to find that my unit was full of someone else's stuff. The codes they give have never worked so I can't get back to my unit and nobody ever answers their customer helpline. On top of all that the facility is in disrepair, smells terrible, and the elevators are broken. Run don't walk away from this terrible business.

      I had to quickly move into a storage unit in Southampton , NY. I found Life Storage on 59 Mariner Drive. Zac greeted me warmly and helped me through the process. I had a big suitcase and some small things and Zac went with me and helped me put my belongings into my new storage space which I really appreciated because i was running out of time. I had to return my bosses car and jump on the Jitney for the city. I only had 20 minutes but with Zac's help, I was able to make it on time! I hope Zac will be acknowledged for his patience and kindness. It's quite difficult to find that positive attitude these days/ Thanks Zac and Life Storage for making my life easier. -***** *********

      Im very upset about a transaction that took place at the unit.The person working was polite however I was told a Charge of $10 was for a transfer to a new unit since mine was strewn with dirt and mud from the rain water running in to the unit bringing sludge along.The attendant took my $10 and also charged my son in laws acct for that **** First Im 84 yrs old and feel he took advantage of my lack of the knowledge of this policy.Secondly why should a fee be charged for something that wasnt our doing.Also we had boxes with collectibles soaked and destroyed.Very disappointed in this company.Dont think I will recommend them to friends!!
