    Your happiness, backed by our Gajillion Percent Promise. Yeah, right. I ordered contacts in July on the ***** Contacts site. My insurance and money were taken but then nothing. I eventually heard that there were problems verifying my prescription so I spoke with a representative by phone who verified everything and acted sympathetic about the problems getting my contacts which were on back order. She gave me an exact arrival date for my contacts and promised there were be no problems getting my contacts. Once again, nothing. I called again and was told that they were on back order again. I had it! Do not make promises if you cannot keep them. I cancelled my order.

    I understand that this manufacturer has many contacts on back order since I experienced this with another provider. My issue is that I spoke with your representative who said that this was not an issue with your company and gave me an exact date that my contacts would be arriving. I dont care about getting a discount on future orders because there will not be a future order. I expected that your company take responsibility for promising me a product that you couldnt provide.

    Total Scam! Was offered a new customer discount of 20%. When I went to check out they saw i had insurance and so nicely offered to apply my $150 insurance benefit for me. Then when I went to pay it said I was getting a 20% discount and my $150 insurance benefit but if you added the $ up there was no discount only my insurance credit. So basically, they are hoping people don't realize they are being charged full price! My insurance should benefit me - NOT THEM!! Unbelievable! When I called up to complain they said their system won't allow a new customer discount if I apply my insurance benefit and they would contact their IT department to make this clearer in the future (not holding my breath). Of course I could buy the contacts with the discount and then submit to my insurance but I can't support a company like this. I went to a competitor and it was my lucky day - they were cheaper to boot!!

    ******, I apologize for the issue online using your insurance and first time customer discount. Unfortunately when insurance is involved the insurance company does not allow to apply any discounts to the order besides free shipping.     I would love an explanation as to why the insurance company cares if you offer me a new customer discount. I find it hard to believe they care if I get a discount but regardless the real problem is when I check out you show me the regular price crossed out and indicate the discount is applied. Only if someone adds up the numbers will the realize you are charging them full price. Will your company be changing that to be more transparent?

    **** Contacts has the best customer service I have ever experienced when dealing with a large company of this type. I just went to refill my prescription with them and mistakenly chose the standard 5-7 day delivery instead of the overnight delivery I required. I called their customer service number at 8:30 pm on a week night and was IMMEDIATELY greeted by a friendly and very well spoken woman. When I explained that I needed to alter my delivery method she not only changed it for me but waived the extra delivery fee as a courtesy to me. Interactions like these leave a lasting impression on me as a consumer. They have just guaranteed my business with them for life.
