I had an account with *******************************************, and it was paid off last month. I canceled a gap and service contract and instead of mailingme the money they mailed it to prestige financial. They received that around June 18, and I have called three times trying to get them release the funds back to me. I keep getting a different answer every time I call about when they received the money. I am not sure why I have to fight them to get them to send a check out to me, for my money that theyre trying to keep. Consumers need to know that prestige financial will try to keep their money if they do not call and keep up on them. I need the help of the Better Business Bureau to try get my money that they owe me!!!!Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I am contacting the United States, Attorney General and the Missouri Attorney General and filing complaints there as well. These people pray on people with bad credit and charge them outrageously high interest, but then try to steal consumers money and not pay interest on consumers money.

Every week I receive harassing phone calls and text messages from prestige financial. I currently have a scheduled payment arrangement that I set up with them over the phone about 2 weeks ago and today they are sending messages about the payment, this is not the first time I have spoken with supervisors sent emails but its still a recurring issue and they are beyond rude.Business Response

Prestige financial has been submitting false, derogatory information on my credit report for years. I pay the payment on time every month. The information is affecting my whole life. Prestige Financial is a bitter, unprofessional company that only cares about the bottom line with no regard to what is right.Business Response

This company is awful. I broke my neck in the first month of getting a vehicle that also didn’t work. I’ve been harassed daily about making the payments. All the customer service is beyond rude. I’m a double widow and doing the best I can. Looks like they give the same automated response for all complaints on here as wellBusiness Response

On May 19 I submitted a car payment online in the amount of $509.62. On May 21 their online system did not show thwe payment so I called their customer service to see if they received it. I was informed they receivwed two payments in that amount for a total of $1019.24. I told them that was a mistake and they said there was nothing they could do about it. So I had no choice but to contact my account and put a hold on all future payments from Prestige.j The bank could not guarantee it would be placed in time to stop these two.Business Response

THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. WORST COMPANY EVER. THEY DONT FOLLOW REGULATIONS AND ***** INTHE CREDIT DEPARTMENT IS A IDIOT. YOU DONT GET PAYMENTS AND KEEP REPORTING PAST DUE WHEN YOU HAVE THE CAR. Ive been trying to work out a settlement with them and get it in writing to only further get the run around. They basically want to force you to make a payment without trying to discuss anything so you don’t default on the loan. I’ve spoken to multiple representatives who don’t document my account or do what they say-such as have my account manager or his supervisor contact me regarding a settlement.
When I did get a call days later, I keep getting the run around from *******. I’m trying to talk numbers and figure out a way for Prestige to still get money and I don’t mess up my credit. They seem to only care about getting a payment, which I understand. But I want it under a new agreement for a settlement. Not on the original agreement.
My car was totaled back in January and I’ve been trying to return it since then but they want me to keep it.Business Response

Paid of vehicle that I have had for 2 years. PAID OFF, $0 BALANCE. They say they can release lien and mail it to me after 15 business days! Unheard of. I have the title in my possession. They suspended my online account as soon as car loan was Paid in Full so I couldn't go back into my account even if I wanted to. Send a dang email with the release so the people who legally own their vehicles can sell them. I was offered that after the 15 days, I can send them a fed ex label to get it overnighted from there. I work for a financial institution. These things can be done instantly. I never ever complain. I am pretty easy going in everyday life. I make my payments on time. This is nuts to me. Never would I recommend Prestige Financial to any person for so many reasons but especially for their "policy" of holding the release of lien for 14 business days. The car is paid off, I own it. Why hold the letter hostage for even longer?Business Response
