AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!I've been a customer for 3 1/2 years. I've put up with them despite not getting the speeds promised and getting way overcharged compared to people that live in the valley. My biggest gripe is with the customer service like everyone else on here. DC has been the only provider in town so their customer service doesn't have to be very good. Now that there are options you would think they would up their game but that's not the case. When they announced their new pricing model I changed immediately and followed the instructions even though it wasn't intuitive doing it on their website. I wasn't sure I did it right and called customer service. They assured me it was fine and it would be adjusted. The next month my statement showed the same price and speed that I had been paying for. I figured it would take a billing period to reflect the change so imagine my surprise when my statement came in and it was the same.I called customer service and mentioned changing my plan and calling customer service. The agent stated that she didn't see any notes on my account so when I asked for my bill to be adjusted to the plan I had changed and thought I had for two months, she refused. I told her that I absolutely made the change according to the website and then called. It isn't my job as the customer to "make a note on my account when I called."She refused to credit me the difference despite everything. I told the agent that I'm going to look at finding another provider and cancelling my service. Several of my neighbors have a similar story where DC **************** failed them too.

Terrible billing system. They bought my fiber internet, and I set up auto bill pay for day 1 of the billing cycle like I had with the previous company. I encurred late fees and was double charged. When I asked what's going on with their billing, I was just told to move my auto pay to after the 8th of the month. What's the point of having other options? Their errored system cost me money and frustration.

Direct Communications will not allow me to access my online bill, and I have not received an invoice in over 2 months. Then, I received a notice that my service will be stopped due to non payment. Payment that is over double than the agreed upon price that is on the contract. I have called in many many times but can never get through to anyone. I have reached out via the chat multiple times and never get a response. I am happy to pay for a service I receive, and for the time being am willing to pay for a service that is always offline, but I am getting zero assistance on how to make payments. I work in tech so know how to work things, but direct communications has been awful to work with and is never there to help. I cannot believe that they have a complete monopoly on the area and it is saddening that they use that to their advantage with absolutely awful customer service. The last time I did get a hold of someone, they were extremely unprofessional and when the recognized their own mistake, refused to take any ownership and tried to make me feel dumb for their problem. All I want at this point is to make a $191 payment for this month and a $55 reactivation fee since they suspended my service without hardly any notice and when I called I was not able to receive any assistance.

Terrible customer service is what you get when your business is allowed to run as a monoply in a city. Since this really the only legit broadband option in Eagle Mountain, UT that is what you get. DirectComm is going to be in for a very rude awakening when ISP competition is finally allowed in this city. Can't wait for that day!!!
