      The company puts a phone number on their site that is an absolute scam, they make it extremely hard to pay off your debts with them, they're an absolute joke of a company. Stop making it so difficult to pay you money, I shouldn't have to leave multiple messages to get a ID number to pay you. This is a debt collection agency that makes you jump through hoops and beg them to take your money. *******.

      Knight Adjustment Bureau has a web page that is used for communication and payment purposes. The phone numbers on the web page are current and accurate. Knight Adjustment Bureau is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mountain time. If an actual person is not reached during regular business hours, our agents are helping other consumers and the consumer can leave a message. Verification of speaking to the actual consumer is part of the ***** and CFPB rules that govern Knight Adjustment Bureau. Knight Adjustment Bureau requires an account number and the zip code on file to make payments through the web portal. If a consumer calls in to make a payment other verifications can be made. The verification is to protect the consumer from fraud or identity theft and follow the regulations made by the *****, CFPB, and GLBA. If the consumer has any further questions regarding the account, they can reach ** at ************ or toll free ************.

      Kinght adjustment I tried to call them and talk to one of the representative her name was ***** and I wanted to do a settlement she said give her a number and when I did she said we wouldn't touch that with a ***************************************************************************** from getting any kind of house or whatever I need so they need to be looked into cuz they are really hurting a lot of people credit and you're trying to pay your bills but they are doing other things they won't even answer their phones they won't even try to talk to you they won't even have a conversation I've been calling them and I called them on today which is April 17th 2023 and no one would return my phone call so everybody is writing a review on night ****** they are telling the truth because these people will not answer their phone and they are nothing but thieves and robbers they **** you out of everything that you got my car went into bankruptcy and it was charged off and they added back into collection and now I am having a hard time trying to get a house

      Knight Adjustment Bureau (KAB)reports accounts as collection accounts with the original creditor listed with the credit bureaus. KAB follows the guidelines in reporting to credit bureaus as instructed by the credit bureaus. Because of these guidelines, KAB does not remove accounts from any reporting agencies. The consumer called on April 10,2023, and discussed the account with *****. According to the phone records KAB only received one call on April 17, 2023 in which no message was left for a return call. The account was part of the bankruptcy; however, a reaffirmation agreement was signed, and the account went into default. The creditor then sent the account to KAB who is collecting the account on assignment.  If the consumer has any further questions regarding the account, they can reach us at ************ or toll free ************.

      Knight Adjustment Bureau is reporting an erroneous debt on my credit file. This debt is from Mountain America and I called and settled this debt with them directly. Knight Adjustment Bureau is still reporting this collection and with a balance. This is incorrect. I would like for Knight Adjustment Bureau to remove this collection from my credit file as it is erroneous.

      Knight Adjustment bureau is reporting a collection that they need to remove. I originally had a debt with Mountain America that I had been disputing because of the validity but ended up paying the account to stop dealing with them. However, both you, and Mountain America were calling about the debt and double reporting the debt which you're not supposed to do. That is an FCRA violation from both of you, if it is not resolved, I will contact the attorney general for violation as I have a copy of my original report showing the double reporting debt. Please remove the account from my file, it is paid and reported out of compliance with the *****

      This complaint is similar in nature to complaint ********, which was filed by the same consumer on February 2,2022. Knight Adjustment Bureau (KAB) reports accounts as collection accounts with the original creditor listed with the credit bureaus. KAB follows the guidelines in reporting to credit bureaus as instructed by the credit bureaus.Because of these guidelines, KAB does not remove accounts from any reporting agencies. The account was settled by the consumer in 2018 and reported as such with the credit bureaus. KAB has not reported this account since it was reported as settled.
