I bought a smoker from this company. The unit constantly shuts off mid smoke and/or temperatures skyrocket uncontrollably. I spent months trying to trouble shoot with Camp Chef and they even sent me a new controller unit to install but I still have the same issues. Finally, this week it was admitted to me that the unit does not work effectively when temperatures outside are hot or cold. So basically, this unit can only be used in Spring and Fall where I live. This was in no way advertised or communicated when I bought the unit. I requested a refund but have been denied as my 30 day return window has passed. However, we spent months trouble shooting so I was essentially denied this right. This is false advertising and I want my money back as I want a product that works year round, not half the year.

The Camp Chef Yukon two burner stove has issues with the propane gas regulator. The gas supply slows down tremendously. After detaching the regulator and reattaching the regulator, the gas flow improves. This issues repeats often.

    Date: 09/26/2022

I spoke with *************************** this evening about his Yukon Stove. His regulator is going into low flow as a safety protocol. We discussed how this can be avoided by disconnecting the regulator from the propane tank and then after reconnecting it to only turn the propane tank valve open 1/2 turn before igniting the stove. This will eliminate the low flow problem.
