    camp chef customer service by far the worst I have delt with. Camp chef live chat ***** should be fired! I've asked for her help in many different ways and got nowhere with her. If you purchase a smoker from them, better hope you don't have any pieces missing not even a screw, customer service is NO HELP! Return it back!

    I've been waiting months for a small part to arrive from a warranty claim. There is a manufacturing defect in our grill and it's just sitting there... half built... waiting on Camp Chef to ship our part. Camp Chef support will respond quickly (the reason for 2 stars) but they don't handle claims with any urgency. We ordered our grill in June and it's going on October and we still have not been able to complete the build. They finally said the part has shipped and when to expect it, but they will not give me tracking information or escalated my claim to management per my request. It still has not arrived. Camp Chef support is awful. Do yourself a favor and get the Blackstone.

    Three times I sat on the phone for an hour and online chat waiting for anyone from CC to answer, nobody ever answered. Very poor business to deal with!

    Product quality is very poor and I requested a return+refund. They wanted me to pay for the shipping back. $30 shipping back for a $50 product is unacceptable for a defective product. Camp Chef needs to claim responsibility for their faulty products and misleading descriptions and pay for the refunds and shipping. Very disappointed in your brand.

    My kids bought me a Camp Chef smoker for my birthday. When we put it together we noticed that the thermometer was broken. Camp Chef refused to replace it.

    I contacted customer service due to my own user error, and it was the best service I have received. They were very fast to respond to my issue, after I explained my situation they had a fix for me. I could feel the kindness through the email. I couldnt thank them enough for their time and effort to make it smooth on my end. Wonderful customer service!!!

    I have a Camp Chef Yukon two burner outdoor camping stove where the paint is peeling on both of them. I have had it approximately 1 year and 11 months. I keep it covered with a quality cover from classic accessories where it stays dry all year round. The folding side shelves have a problem with the paint peeling off of both of them. I called Camp Chef customer service today and they told me that it is out of warranty. The warranty on that item is only one year and the replacement cost is $69 for the left shelf and $79 for the right shelf has the right and left shelves are two different sizes. They would not take any consideration on trying to warranty it or work with me on this. The customer service person I spoke to was very courteous and I asked for a manager to speak with. She in turn texted message her supervisor and she stated the same thing back to her, except that she would cover the shipping. The customer service person reiterated that the replacement cost is $69 for the left shelf and $79 for the right shelf. You do however get two of them for that price, but why do you need two. The cost of the stove was ****** and when you buy both replacement side shelves, you are paying $24 more than what the entire stove cost. The main point of this negative feedback is that they have a quality issue and aren't willing to do anything about it and not accept the fact of it and therefore making you purchase new shelving units or preferably a new stove due to the cost of the shelves. I will never buy another Camp Chef stove from them and I am extremely dissatisfied with the results that I've obtained as of today. I am reporting this to be able to help someone else think about purchasing one of these.

    Ordered a replacement grate for a camp chef product which turned out to be for an older model, which was not clear on the website. The item was *****, plus tax and $17 for shipping. It didn't fit, so I initiated a return and was told I would need to pay shipping to return the item. The camp chef website says if returned within 30 days you will receive a full refund, but you have to pay return shipping. No surprise there. I paid $30 to ship it back with tracking as the rep asked me to send tracking to expedite my refund. Once received, I was told I would only be receiving ***** back. I balked, asking about the $17 shipping and tax. I was told by a rep they would not be refunding tax or shipping. I explained it is illegal to refuse to refund sales tax, and they responded saying they would add the tax to my refund. I further inquired about refunding the original shipping fee and was told they would not as they had paid to ship the item, even though I was charged $17 for shipping. I told them this was in direct conflict with their policy as stated on their website, and they responded with a screenshot of what appeared to be a word document of a paragraph they stated was their return policy. However, this was clearly different from the policy on their website regarding returns. Horrible customer service. I will be consulting an attorney to see if they are even registered to collect and remit sales tax in the state I live in. The fact I had to inform them it is illegal to not refund sales tax makes me wonder what other shady practices they are doing to others. Not to mention they have a product for sale on their website that is outdated and misleading. Stay far far away from this company.

    If I could give zero star I would. Searched for product and clicked on link from Camp Chef. Did not notice that Camp Chef's link brought me to a different model. I ordered and received immediate confirmation and realized was wrong model. The model I want is not in stock so a way to trick you into buying what they do have in stock. Immediately called and have been on hold for over two hours to cancel. Also sent message through web page (supposed to have live chat which of course they don't). This is a gift, recipient will receive product they do not want, and to return has to be pay shipping and restocking fees.I am now out $200 because debit card I used expires in two days. I wished I had read other reviews of terrible customer service before I ordered. You would think ordering directly from company instead of third party website would be best but so wrong. Should have gone with ***. Please, never order directly from this company!!!
