    Podium has very unethical business practices. They charge accounts for services not rendered. They sign people up who aren't as savvy with the ************* and expect them to pay even if not able to use their service. Then they refuse to reimburse you. I was recruited by one of the podium reps around Christmas time and was sold on what they said they could do to help me with getting customers for my business. Although wasn't informed all of this had to have certain things in place before you could even implement their services: website, ****** my business page, integration with electronic health records(EHR)...etc. I was up front about my availability not being until mid January due to the holidays. They said that wouldn't be a problem. When I was able to meet with a representative to get my account going. I realized I didn't even have what was needed as far as having my website up and running. I was a new business owner at the time and didn't have much experience with websites and once I realized I didn't have the man power or time to implement all the things necessary to utilize their business, I asked to put my account on hold or cancel until I was ready ( I needed to get the ****** my business pages up and running, needed to have integration set up with my EHR, and have link-ability on my website). They told me I had to send in a request in writing and I would be charged another month since I needed to give a certain amount of time notice. I ended up paying over $1000 for never being able to use their services. I never even got to utilize there services. When I contacted them to ask for my money back, they said, their reps had tried to help me get my account going and had made several attempts and that it was my fault I couldn't utilize their services. Horrible business. They won't talk to you on the phone, only by text and email. I would never recommend them.

    All these reviews align with my negative experiences with Podium. Beware of the 1 page contract that will lock you into annual renewals that you must be diligent about canceling if you are not happy with their service because they will make you stay in as their customer to the bitter end. I wonder why a class action lawsuit isnt being considered.
