    Read the fine print! I mistakenly entered an annual contract with Podium-- when the service wasn't working well and I cancelled 3 months later, they tried to charge me the entire 12 months of the contract. They immediately charged my credit card, I then blocked them via AmEx, and now they are going to send the ridiculous balance to a third party debt collector-- all because their app is glitchy and doesn't work as advertised!!

    This **** to be by far the worst company I have ever done business with. Although, in fact, I really havent done any business with them because they lied to me stole money from me and misrepresented their company, not only in a financial matter, but in the way, they do business.. As a small business owner *** been harassed lied to, and taking advantage of. They forged information and are now trying to send my business to collections for services never rendered. Never consider doing business with this company. The only reason they have five star reviews on ****** is because they delete any negative reviews and they do not allow them on any social media outlets.

    I wouldnt even give 1 star, sales reps lie to your about what they can do for your company, not only that I dont remember signing anything but according to them I signed a contract to keep their service for 1 year (Never remember doing this and if I was I was tricked I would NEVER sign a 1 year contract with a company Id never heard of) but the service ***** and Ive tried to cancel and it took WEEKS for someone to even call me back about it and all they said was I couldnt cancel and that was it. They still charging me and refuse to end my service. Do not do business with this company.

    If you dont find the value of using Podium, it is a nightmare to cancel. I gave Podium a YEAR of $500 payments in hopes it would help me connect with my clients. In the end, we did not find the price worth it. I tried to cancel and they keep charging my credit card. So I cancelled that card and had my bank issue a new card. Then they charged THAT card. Finally my bank I would end my ********************************************************* from Podium. I still get harassed by Podium, but the charges have stopped. I cant imagine my cell phone company would act like this if I cancelled my service. So my warning is: This is going to be like a marriage with no way out! So you better KNIw you love it.

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! Stay away at all cost! I contracted with Podium in 2022 to provide services that were never delivered. I requested to cancel this service which Podium refused to do but continued to contact and harass me via text, phone and email. The last email was from their AR analyst with invoices totaling almost $700. I advised the rep via email that I would not be paying any fees or past due balances because I cancelled but they are still trying to charge for services unrendered! I also threatened them with legal action if they contact me or my business again! Horrible customer service and lack of integrity!

    Warning!! WORST COMPANY EVER in my opinion! I signed up for their service and was told I had 3 months to cancel. I found their service to not provide the quality for the cost and emailed to terminate just 8 days after initiating. It has now been nearly 3 months and after several emails and phone calls, they still have not terminated my service! I feel as this is unethical and inexcusable. Spend your money elsewhere!

    I would NOT recommend Podium to anyone. I've had an issue with using my toll free number, and they have NOT been able to fix it. They have told me numerous times that the issue was "fixed" only to experience the same problem over and over again. When their product is working properly, it's the BEST. My workload became so much easier with Podium. I use my toll free number for our text ID. It worked for the first month with no issues, then it stopped working. Texts were not going through. I called, and emailed, I was told to fill out a form to get authorization to use my toll free number. I received emails and calls from Podium telling me the issue has been fixed, only to discover it has NOT been fixed. I can't send out texts, my primary source of communication with my members. They are incompetent when it comes to issues. Why did it work to begin with, then stopped working? It's obvious they don't know what the issue is.

    I signed up with Podium, during a Zoom meeting with their sales team and their Sales Manager *******************************, not paying attention to the detail that I signed for a year contract while I wasvunder imptession that i'm on a month to month contract. The sales person and **** presented the monthy payment of $299/mo, without disclosing that it will be a 12 mo. contract without the right to early cancelation. I would have not signed for one year without testing it first. After re-evaluating the Podium features I arrived to the conclussion that Podium is just an interface for ****** my Business. ****** offers handling of reviews for Free. Also messenger is offer for free by ********* Texting feature I'm no using it because is percieved Spam I requested to cancel, the customer service is not hepful and Is refering me back to my Account Executive *******, who is denying my request. I elevated my request to the sales manager ****, without any success. What they are saying, is that I signed for one year, and I can't cancel earlier. I just wanted to bring to everyone attention the misleading sales tactics of Podium's sales team and unsatissfactory customer service. I will continue to seek future legal advice to resolve my case.

    On Aug 11, 2022, I had a video call with *********************** at the Podium Corporation, **** ****, **, to discuss the Podium software system. During the meeting, I addressed my concerns to **************: "I already have a CRM called WooSender." I asked him to explain and help me understand how Podium differed from what I already had. He assured me with his "personal guarantee" that my CRM held no comparison to his superior software, Podium. I even mentioned that I was willing to only pay for help with the wording of my campaign messages, but he insisted that Podium does way more! ************** is a great salesperson! He was exemplary at convincing me that even though I already had what I needed, his was indeed different and better. After I signed the contract, I emailed the copy from my current campaigns in WooSender for a review from their specialists, only to hear that they were already good enough and to share my review link sooner. ************** either knew that he had an inferior product and wanted to make a sale, or he had no idea about the features of *********, and, instead of being honest and saying he did not know the difference between the two systems, he flat-out lied! Either way, it is terrible to do business and take advantage of someone already in an admittedly tough financial spot. I attempted to cancel my contract the first business day after signing but kept getting the runaround and promises. There is nothing that Podium does that WooSender cannot do. I requested a refund of my premiums and cancellation of the contract, to which I immediately received an email response that denied my request. I have since looked up Podium reviews online and see this standard operating procedure.

    Podium has the worst customer service. Not only did they promise things pre-sale that were not functions of their software, they are just dishonest all around. Will NEVER refer them to anyone again!
