      I got camera and a door bell from Vivint. Was told I could cancel at any time. Which is ture but will cost 900 dollars to cancel. I also was never told that they would be put a loan on my credit. I would give them negative starts if I could.

      we had vivint for 7 years. we just moved to a retirement community, where, of course, we have no need for vivint. it took an hour to cancel, with being put on hold 14 times. this is a ludicrous length of time. I had to pay $400 to cancel. I will NEVER recommend vivint to anyone.

      If I could give zero stars, I would. Yesterday their salespeople came to my door three separate times despite the clearly posted No Soliciting sign. Later, one of them pressured my husband into letting him inside. When I pointed out the sign and told him they should respect it, he completely ignored me.Even worse, he left the door wide open, letting our cats get out. My daughter and I had to stop everything to chase them back into the house while he stood there and laughed. That is not only unprofessional, its downright disrespectful.This company clearly does not respect boundaries, does not train their staff properly, and does not care about the impact of their actions on families. If you see them coming, dont answer the door.

      Sales team was on my area. They showed me the system that would be best for my house. After seeing all that i asked how much my system was worth and they kept on showing me more options but failed to disclose the actual price of the system. When they were done with their presentation they told me it was going to be a monthly charge of around $50 dollars. I talked it over with my wife and we agreed to go ahead with the deal. After the installation which was at 11:30 at night they finished the installation and i was handed their phone to speak with someone in financing and thats when i knew the price. The installers told me i had 5 days to cancel without any penalty. I was shocked after learning the price and called in at 8am next morning to cancel. I talked with a supervisor and he apologized about the wrongful doing of them not disclosing the cost of the system and we even talked about some additional training to their sales personnel about how to present the cost to customers. Supervisor offered to make up for the wrongful doing by suspending 13 months of billing totaling $800. I agreed and kept the system. After many months passed my wife made a comment that she thought we were getting 13 months free but we were still getting charged. After inspecting and knowing this was true i emailed the supervisor and asked for an explanation. It took weeks for him to get back with me and i told him it was unacceptable and wanted to part ways with Vivint. He offered a refund and 4 additional months and he had not responded to my email nor have seen his offer. At this moment i want to part ways with Vivint for being a dishonest company and for them not to hurt my credit.

      I would give a ZERO rating if I could!!! A couple months ago I called to cancel monitoring but wanted still to use the ap so we could see the outside cameras... this is not an option. Today I called to cancel service because we never set the system, and the cameras tend to malfunction pretty regularly and I refuse to pay $99 for a technician. I was told there would be a buyout in order to do so because we are in contract(?) until November of next year so we would have to still pay 50% of the monthly monitoring until then to cancel. I AM LIVID!!!!!! These people should be ashamed and so should anyone who would work for them. Granted, maybe there were questions we should have just known to ask but I believe the sales *** should have included all this information before we signed. I am SO ANGRY!!!!

      PLEASE DONOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY DO OT TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW UP FRONT THEY TELL ME I HAD 3 DAYS TO CANCEL THE SALEMANS NEVER TOLD ME DIDNT EVEN TELL ME THAT THERE WAS A 20 DOLLARS EQUIPMENT FEE THAT YOU NEED TO PAY EACH MONTH I JUST FELT LIKE I WAS MISLEAD TOOK THE ADVANTAGE PLEASE DONOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLES BAD BUISNESS

      We had relocated from *********** ** to ********** WV. We had service disconnected and after many weeks of trying to have installed in new home, we were told that we would be getting 3 months of ************ and then a $10 a month discount for the next 24 months, the remainder of our contract. We agreed to this. That was in mid July 2025. Well here we are, September 9, 2025 and all I have received are emails saying that we are behind in our payment. After spending hours on phone with ************** I have accomplished zip zilch zero... ************ has turned into scam artists....

      I am a Disabled Veteran who decided to give Vivint Home Smart Service a try. I had the service installed in 2023. I have had issues with live view as well as sensors reading accurately almost immediately. I called and made appointments after several attempts of trouble shooting myself. No one vet showed up to the scheduled appointments. I made other attempts to have the issues rectified to no avail. Im. Now moving and was told directly by Vivint that my new address is not within their service area. This was back in June. Ive made several appointments for removal of equipment and checks and balances Vivint kept none. I called I rescheduled in spite of the emotional physical and costly financial stress this has caused they missed those appointments as well. They made a third set of appointments and I received a call at 9pm at night to reschedule. Do not get this service they have no way to contact them if you need to lodge a complaint. They absolutely do not care about meeting your needs unless they can get your money. They are by far the worst company I have ever dealt with period. They only care about money not customer they basically install and then leave you to figure it out yourself. They dont help Veterans or military family their objective is money not their customers peace of mind . Please do not get this service if they had a zero that would be my rating

      Trust all the negative reviews!! This is not about the equipment, it is the shady business practices and lack of customer service. They overcharged us, we have proof of contract and statements. Spent hours on the phone and days until getting to a "manager", who acknowledged finally they were siphoning money from our card and it was an error on their part. They promised follow up in 3 days. Thank God we audio recorded the whole conversation because they obviously did not ever get back to **. Note to anyone who considers it: record every conversation, save everything you sigh and read the fine print. They will run you ragged hoping you give up.

      Bought a house with Vivint. Complete circus. Poor and lengthy phone trees, rude and incompetent customer service. With military discount, $45 a month. Ring is $10... Wrong address on contract, had to call a third time. Supposed to be a 14 day trial. They tried to sneak a 3 day trial on the contract of a two year commitment. I called a fourth time and waited on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to get my 14 day trial "approved". I canceled service! Having an average of 1.0 stars on Yelp is tough to maintain, but somehow Vivint has managed.
