      They lied to us about the buy out of our current alarm system so I filed the proper paperwork and returned it within the allotted amount of time they still took my money and ran. Not only did I not get a refund within 10 days the finance company they used won't talk to me and have been taking payment Vivint has given me the run around for over a month this is a dishonest company and needs investigated. I've had no equipment or service other than the one day it was here. This is total bs and makes me wonder how many people the are doing this too.

      This has been one of the worst companies Ive ever dealt with. I am a 1st time home owner & only signed with Vivint bc they were the 1st to knock on my door.3 days after installation, I decided I didnt like it & wanted to cancel. My sales associate told me you can cancel at anytime. When I called to do so, I was told that I missed the 3 day cutoff by 4 hours & was no longer able to cancel until your equipment is paid off. This month marks 1 year that Ive been a customer. Within this year, the equipment has failed, had a short, quit working, etc, etc & a tech has been to my house 6 times, all 6 visits have been free of charge. I returned yesterday from a month long military class out of state and found that my front door sensor was broken. I called to schedule a tech to come fix it, only to be told that I had 2 options- I could either troubleshoot it & fix it myself, or pay $99 for a tech to come. I am not an electrical engineer nor do I get a paycheck from Vivint. Therefore, I will not do the job of a Vivint employee. As I stated above, all of the other tech visits that Ive requested within this past year have been at free. Now all of a sudden, it costs $99 for someone to fix a piece of equipment that is broken & causes my sensor to no longer work (yet Im still paying for). I understand that companies change their policies, but MOST OF THE **** companies will alert their customers. Also, when I kept questioning the customer service rep that I spoke to how long Vivint has had this policy, her answer was This has been the companys policy since Ive been with them. So therefore, my home is unsecured, yet Im paying $2,500+ for equipment that does not work & the company will not fix it if I dont pay an extra $99. If Vivint can tell me how this practice is good customer service, Ill listen. But they havent, nor are they willing to. I cant wait to pay off the balance on equipment that does not work so that I can cancel my contract with them!

      No soliciting sign. Salesperson rang our doorbell and then knocked. Showed him our sign on the door (violated IN law 11.05) and he argued that he was not a salesperson. I told him no thank you and shut the door, stayed on our porch and finally left.

      The Vivint Sales Reps that came out were very pushy and after the fact, I found out that they system does not work the way it was stated to us. I've called the sales rep to cancel (within my 3 day business window) but all I get is statements similar to this; "but think of the security and peace of mind the system provides" and "let me check with the technical team to see what we can do".I have multiple texts say I want to cancel everything but get nowhere. I will be sending the written cancelation notice in on Monday morning by Certified Mail but after reading the multiple complaints about this company, I have little faith that they will resolve this.

      Would not recommend. I got an upgrade today from one of their salesman, solar salesman pitch and the tech came by. Before now I had no problems but the tech left at 12am and I notice my ac was blowing heat . I stay on the phone with a young lady for 2 hours and 5 minutes and I ask to speak with her supervisor. We'll as soon as I heard his voice he hung up. I am in Georgia and they upgraded me the same evening which is Saturday and now saying they can get someone over Tuesday. Georgia is hot as h*** and I kept all three of those guys cool why they were here. Quick to sell but not Quick to fix.

      These folks were deceitful during the sales process. They installed used equipment from another residence. We were locked out of our house and the only thing they could tell was to get a locksmith. Stay vey far away from this company,

      Terrible customer service. They hide their prices. We were offered a deal that we could try it for free for a month and return all the equipment if we chose not to do it within that month. We missed it by a few days, but asked if we could still return the equipment even if we needed to pay a fee. They wouldnt accept any of it (even though I kept all the boxes). We cancelled the subscriptions after paying for the cameras. They still are charging us for the service even though we cancelled the service a month ago. They use two different companies, one for the equipment and one for the service. Absolutely stupid. S**** these guys. Never use Vivint.

      Worst experience ever. The technician damaged my home and I went back and forth with nothing getting resolved. I requested my services canceled February *********************************** Every time I call I get a run around and no resolution. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
