      If your car gets towed while storing it in a parking space you rented, you will not get reimbursed by neighbor, and they will leave it up to you to settle it with the host. It doesnt matter how much it is, youre on your own. They also have no way to verify the hosts on their platform, so youre taking a risk one way or the other. The people that work there seem nice, but unfortunately they have to uphold a policy that will s**** you over massively.Thats my experience, rented a space to store my van, the hosts space was not verified correctly, van gets towed, i find out two weeks later because the host never checked, and I have to pay for it. Do you think the host is going to reimburse me? I guess we will find out.

      Neighbor is a deceptive, unethical, and poorly managed organization. Their sleazy salespeople will call you nearly every day - sometimes twice a day - if you provide any details to the host that you're interested in renting their space. Once you commit, they suddenly make it extremely difficult to get ahold of them and their communication disappears. In my case after I completed my stay, they opted to lob an additional month stay (hoping it goes unnoticed on a credit card) and then make it near impossible to reach them and I suddenly couldn't log into their site. Even the host I rented space from is angry by their deceptive activities and inability to resolve a simple dispute. Not sure why they feel it's appropriate to try to sneak an added fee in - my only thought is they are a desperate, financially failing organization.

      Hello,Were sorry to hear about your negative experience with Neighbor, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.I have submitted your concerns about our Booking Specialists to our leadership team for review. Your input is invaluable to us, and we take feedback very seriously.After reviewing your account, I see that your reservation was canceled after the renewal date. Since the reservation was still active on the renewal date, the system automatically processed a charge for the next month.We offered to assist with processing a refund upon your Hosts approval. However, by the time your Host approved the refund, a dispute had already been filed with your credit card company. When a dispute is filed, the funds are temporarily refunded to you while the bank investigates.During this process, the funds are held by the bank, and Neighbor cannot access them. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds while a dispute is ********** withdrew the dispute to allow us to proceed with the refund, but the dispute remains pending in the banks system. The bank has indicated that it will take 70 days to process the dispute fully. Although you sent a message stating the dispute was closed, our payment system confirmed that the funds are still unavailable for 67 more days, as per the bank's timeline.We sincerely apologize for the frustration this situation has caused. It looks like your banks dispute will be finalized on March 18th. Please feel free to contact us after that date so we can move forward with your refund.

      Neighbor never resolved my inability to log into their site to streamline communications. I can't even reset my password. **************** is taking this dispute seriously and have noted that it's factually untrue that Neighbor cannot provide the full refund. They (Amex) are expecting Neighbor to provide me the full refund by January 18th. Another update/comment will ensue if Neighbor doesn't comply.

      I won a storage locker on a on line auction through storage treasures. Neighbors.com is who had the storage. The unit description was 4 electric training bikes, 2 leg machines, 6 benches, 2 cable cross machines 1 treadmill, , 25 crates of office supplies. NONE OF THE LISTED ITEMS WERE IN STORAGE! I reached out to neighbors.com. The response was they post the auction with information provided by the host. Auctions are a ******. Theres no guarantee whats in boxes. I could understand if there were crates marked E bikes, Cable cross machines, treadmill .. There were no boxes marked with these items. I spent $1900.00 on a bunch of old, water damaged (roof leaked) computers and throwen out hotel left overs. Where did the host come up with items that were not in storage? Neighbors.com thinks its perfectly fine to run a fraudulent or false, misleading, deceptive auction. This is website is guilty of misrepresentation, auction fraud, providing fake information to increase auction price.

We do our best to identify what we can see in the unit and include a description of what the renter said they were storing.

      I used neighbor.com (Neighbor Storage, **** online platform to find a parking space to rent in ***********, ** from an individual named *************************** with ******* **** The parking lot described in my rental listing was an open lot between 296 and *****************************. *******'s listing indicated I could park in any unmarked spaced in the lot. ******* and his company Spaxel did not own any spots within this lot and could not legally rent them out to any one. This results in my vehicle getting towed on January 31st from this lot and I was required to pay $1,539.50 to regain access to my car. I have pictures of my towing receipt and the the parking ticket I received which says I unlawfully parked on January 31st. As indicated in the towing contract, the parking lot is actually owned by XZ Properties (which holds the ***************************** address), not by Spaxel or ***************************, which I was led to believe.I have requested that Neighbor Storage, Inc. refund my $340 which I paid to *************************** to rent the space from January to March, as well as to be reimbursed for the $1,539.50. I am unable to get in touch with *************************** directly, as I was messaging him through the Neighbor platform and he will not respond to the emails I have sent to the email address he provided. The customer service ******************** has told me that they will not refund my payment because they have not hear from *************************** about the incident. Neighbor Storage, Inc. should be held responsible for processing a refund because they are the intermediary in this transaction and have not taken action again ******* as a renter for listing a false spot.

      I parked my brand new car at one of Neighbor host's car parking lot in Florida, operated by Neighbor. When I came back 8/9 months later, I found hundreds of scratches all over around my brand new car. Of course I had my car insured. These sneaky liar, not trustworthy, fraudster company called Neighbor did not pay my insurance money with bogus excuses! Do not work with them! Kevin K*******

Neighbor does not provide coverage for damage caused by animals if the vehicle is stored outdoors.       The rentals I've had have been great, but they are too few and far between. I don't know that there is much that Neighbor can do about that, but it's frustrating.
