  Fantastic view of the lanterns at Surprise. I loved the view of the lake shimmering with lanterns. The music was ok but the vibes were immaculate.The lines at the food trucks were long so maybe don't rely on getting food there.

  Wife and I loved it meant alot to us to have an experience to write it down on the lanterns provided remembering those we have lost and saying with emotion and joy of our shared moments.

  This event was so nice and beautiful. Everyone was friendly and having a good time. It was beautiful hearing personal stories from guests. A lot of people more than Ive seen in my life????. Cant wait for next year! Shout out to all the employees and vendors that came out.

  Parking was okay, but there was a wide selection of options for food ***************** The food and goodies we had was great, the music selection they had was very peaceful and calming. I loved the things they encouraged us to do in terms of talking to others. I thought it was a great way to make new friends. The employees were really nice and helpful and there was a couple of fun booths such as pictures, and other vendors. Creating our lantern was fun, and watching them all being launched into the water was a fun experience.

  We had a great time. I only wish the lanterns didnt get stuck at the edge of the lake and that there were more food trucks, the wait was 45min and up for each truck.

  I went with friends and had a great time. A very relaxing and peaceful experience. It was organized and the emails I received were detailed with instructions. Overall, I enjoyed it!

  This event was waaaay too expensive. It's held in a public park , with a DJ. Lots of people were there who didn't need to pay for entrance fees, and who still enjoyed the event for free. Even the food trucks were outrageously expensive. The only thing you get with your ticket ($30+) is a lantern. I thought there was a charity connected to this, but it's unclear. All of our lanterns got stuck at the edge of the water; while it was pretty, it was not the effect seen in the photos. The atmosphere was certainly friendly, courteous, kind because of the intent of the event, but the sticker price seems laughable in light of the message of "peace" and ********* and kindness. Why not just charge $10 - $15 and making it more inclusive?

  Thanks for your feedback .The cost of the event covers the venue rental and associated costs, licensing and permitting, marketing, staffing, production, staging, lantern kits and supplies, event rentals, lantern retrieval, water clean-up, and many other costs required to put on the event. In addition, the event does support Water.org which helps provide clean water to those in need. We hope this helps clarify things.

  The Lantern Festival changed the event and is now having NO food trucks so we no longer wanted to attend the event. I reached out to the company 3 times with NO response! This is false advertisement for an event. I deserve my money back for this event and the company just never responded. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. FALSE ADVERTISING. One of the reasons we were attending was for the food trucks. I would never recommend this company ever.

  We are sorry to hear of your experiences. The food truck situation was due to the venue having exclusivity with a single food service provider so we were unable to bring in food trucks like usual. We are working on a solution for next year's event and hope that you'll give us a second chance as it really is a beautiful experience.
