      They installed a defective ice maker. Then they installed another defective ice maker. Then they refused to refund my money unless they got their defective unit back. Then they refused to come and pick up their defective unit.

      On 4/24/23 Cst called and sched and appointment for their fridge as their icemaker wasnt working. Tech went out and diagnosed a bad icemaker and gave cst the bid for parts and labor. Cst declined repair at that time but called back later that day and approved repair. We ordered parts and tech went out on 5/2/23 to install new part. Tech tested and everything was working. On 5/5/23 cst called back saying it quit working. Tech went back and found someone had shut the water supply off. Tech turned water back on and tested again. On 5/16/23 cst called and again not working. Tech went out and ordered control boards for icemaker. When parts came in we tried to call and sched an appointment for tech to install new parts. *** told us they have already sold the fridge. We can no longer get our parts back from cst so no credit was issued. Please do not award this dispute to cst as they didnt allow us to fix the fridge or get our parts back and offer a refund.

      Please disregard the last response. 

      In response to your concerne, you were not denied a refund nor did we refuse to come and retrieve our parts. Yes a defective part was sent to us. We have no way to determine if the part is defective until it has been installed and tested. We are under the assumption the parts are in good working condition from our suppliers as you are under the assumption we are installing parts that are in good working condition. We offered to send one of our senior technicians out and re-assess the situation and if deemed unrepairable we would provide a refund. We offered to try and resolve your issue at no cost to you setting aside the pushback and rudeness our office staff was given. We are still willing to do all these things.

      None of the details provided by this business match my case:

      At no time did I:

      call on 4/24/23

      decline repair at that time but call back later that day and approve

      call back on 5/5/23

      shut the water supply off

      call back on 5/16/23

      tech never ordered control boards for icemaker

      I never sold my fridge

       

      It would appear from the above that this business has me confused with one of their other dissatisfied customers.

      In response to your concerne, you were not denied a refund nor did we refuse to come and retrieve our parts. Yes a defective part was sent to us. We have no way to determine if the part is defective until it has been installed and tested. We are under the assumption the parts are in good working condition from our suppliers as you are under the assumption we are installing parts that are in good working condition.       On Oct. 21 Famous Appliance technician came to my investment house to check a noisy dryer and said it would be $421.93 to repair. My personal assistant told me the price and I said no. I called the the tech for the $70.00 service call invoice. He said it was his personal # and to call the office. I called the office and spoke to ******** who said someone will call me back and they will send me the invoice. I then sent an e-mail on 10/21 confirming that I did not want the dryer repaired. I want the invoice for the $70.00 service call and refund for the overcharge of $351.93. I never verbally or in writing agreed to the repair. Only the $70.00 service call charge.

      Customer called and canceled the **********************. Our Terms are any time we have to order a part there is a 25% cancelation fee on parts. Customer claims this was never disclosed (he said, she said). ******** also claims we charged his card for the repair without authorization. Famous Appliance would/has never charged anyone's card without authorization. That is theft. Someone authorized the repair and we charged their card. Customer called again to dispute the cancelation fee. After the conversation Famous Appliance agreed to refund all money paid minus the $70 service fee ($75.08 after tax). Issue was resolved before this complaint came through.
