    4-3-24 I called them from google and they sent out YO locksmith. The guy said, "I do this for you for $125", I agreed. He was replacing a keyed cam lock on a mailbox. The locks retail anywhere from around $5-10. He takes my card and charges me $309.81 without agreement. I say the charge pop up on my phone and asked about the difference and he said that's a $125 dollar lock. The guy is a hustler and scammer. He acted as if he was confused or there was a language barrier keeping him from understanding his wrongdoing. I now know this is his hustle by reading the rest of the bad reviews on google. He commonly does this.

    I called SOS Mobile Locksmith November 2, 2023 for a car lockout. I was told I would receive a call in a few minutes with a quote. When the technician called me, he refused to provide a quote until he saw the car and what he needed to do.

    Their website lists $19 for a service call, and a range of $69-149 for a lockout service.

    Upon arrival, the technician parked right behind me, so I was unable to leave until paying. After the technician quickly unlocked the car, he charged me $89 for a service call and $254 for the lockout service. Including a 3.75% credit card fee, I spent a total of $382.56.

    The technician assured me that my car insurance would be able to cover the cost if I had full coverage. I should not have taken his word for it, because it turned out that my policy does not cover lockout services.

    The invoice that was mailed to us listed American Service Locksmith as the company name, different than the company I called. I'm unsure if the technician was an independent contractor.

    My toddler was locked in the car, so I feel like I was taken advantage of in a desperate situation. Do to inexperience, I didn't realize I could call the fire department to help.

    I have not yet contacted SOS Mobile Locksmith to find as resolution
