my issue here is about the trip from NYC, at JFK to Alexandria, Egypt at HBI 8/14/24 from JFK to return from HBE on 8/29/24, reserved on 5/14/24 with confirmation. - in June I received an email that my connecting flight from Istanbul to Alexandria, Egypt was cancelled, offering me to cancel or reschedule with no fees. On the account the flight remained confirmed Till the time of departure, all is confirmed The day of the flight, I was told that my connecting flight was cancelled. ( flight # *****) I was offered another connection, I was told was 12 hours connection. accepting the transfer to the destination I realize that connection was 19 hours! Return (flight # *****) was on 8/29/24, listed for 4:50 am on the site and email notification, while the actual flight was an hour earlier, at 3:50 am . That flight was delayed dramatically for over 30 minutes leaving, to arrive at Istanbul airport over 30 min late. Connection time was an hour, that did not give me enough time to catch my connection (flight # TK3.) and despite the fact being at the gate before closure, gate was closed early. Yet, flight was delayed in departure by 40 minutes. I missed my flight, wait at the airport for over 12 hours, getting another connection, I was told by the agent that it was 10 hours wait despite the actual12 hours wait, not sure if those at the counter are able to count or calculate. I was offered the option between a hotel or meal voucher, because of the time restriction I accepted a meal ticked, only to find out that the was the lousy choice from the food court, *** only knows how would the hotel would be?? - the entire experience was horrible, with spending 3 days from my vacation on travel time and waiting at the airport, missing on my commitment and work. I am writing requesting a full refund of the expenses of my trip.Initial Complaint

In 2023 I booked a flight using eDreams. At the time there was a membership fee. They auto renewed it 7/12/24 without notification. When I contacted them they refused to cancel saying I would have to wait until next year. When I pushed they said they would provide a refund but needed 44.99 and a new card number. They refused to let me off the phone without a card number. I want the membership cancelled as well as a full refund.Initial Complaint

I purchased china eastern airline ticket(From bangkok to Kunming) from edream Jan 28, 2023, 11:52 AM , see attachment for the confirmation email. On Tue, Mar 7, 2023, 11:12 PM, I received email from china eastern, it mentioned flight get cancelled. I did contact edream on March 2023 to refund my ticket and edream said it will took for few weeks. I did follow up with edreams for next few months and still no luck. On June 6, 2024 I booked a flight on edreams website and signed up for a one-month free trial. Within 2 hours I realized the flight wouldn't work for me so I cancelled and received cancellation confirmation from the airline. Standard practice is the flight charge would be pending and then disappear if cancelled within 24 hours. Edreams proceeded with the charge and after 11 days there was no refund. I called the customer service and waited 8+ minutes before a guy with Indian accent picked up. Basically he said the max time I will wait for a refund is a month, and my edreams account might be active in order to receive that refund, which means they'll force me to renew my account. To that I firmly said no and said this practice is totally unacceptable. I went on my Edreams account and they have a very sneaky way to allow you cancel subscription online. Total scam! I cancelled immediately, knowing that I may never see that flight refund. That's all right if that's what takes to keep edreams away from me for the rest of my life!! Stay away from Edreams!! I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against EDREAMS PRIME regarding unauthorized charges and unfair business practices. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this issue directly with the company, they have failed to provide a satisfactory resolution. Details of the Complaint: Unauthorized Charges: On May 8, 2023, EDREAMS PRIME charged my account $69.99 without my explicit consent. On May 8, 2024, they charged my account another $69.99, again without my explicit consent. Lack of Transparency: The subscription was hidden in the fine print, and I was not clearly informed about the renewal or the terms of the subscription. Despite receiving confirmation emails, the charges were not clearly communicated, leading to unintentional subscription renewals. Customer Service Response: I contacted EDREAMS PRIME on May 23, 2024, requesting cancellation and a full refund of the unauthorized charges. They responded, canceling the automatic renewal but refused to refund the charges, citing their terms and conditions which were not transparently communicated. Attempts to Resolve: Attached are copies of my emails to EDREAMS PRIME and their responses. I believe EDREAMS PRIME’s actions are deceptive and constitute unfair business practices. I request your assistance in securing a full refund of the unauthorized charges and ensuring that EDREAMS PRIME improves their transparency regarding subscription renewals and charges. I bought some tickets via eDream for my sister recently. First issue is that i did not notice that they offer me 30 days trial prime acocun with the card i paid for, and after that they will charge me. This was probably some small letters,etc. Second issue happend when i realize this i went to platform, and assure that there is no CC information saved on account. That was fine, so i contact customer support who explain to me that i cannot remoe CC infor and cancel prime subscription from my account, and i need either to make international call or to emil them. Statement: "If i give you my information with my wil, i should be allowed to remo same information with my will from my side, the same way i input it. This seems like fraud, i don't know how long i will need to wait for them to respond on email and assure they will remove my CC information, untill then i need to disable CC to prevent them for charing me further. Basicly once i paid for hteir service, they keep me hostage and do not allow me to cancel this on my will. I complain to them already, but i guess you might do something actually since this is company from your country, possibly scamming your friends and family as well. Have a nice day. P.s. money was not the issue, but i dont want to be anyones hostage.
